Skipjack tuna is an important species targeting by pole and line fishery in Bone Bay. The distribution and abundance of this species tended to aggregate to the preferred bio-physical environments. To describe the short term relationship between skipjack tuna and oceanographic conditions and to visualize the predicted high catch areas, remotely sensed satellite based-oceanographic sea surface temperature (SST) and chlorophyll-a together fisheries data were used. Results indicated that the highest skipjack CPUEs were mainly found in coastal areas of Palopo and Kolaka both in 2007 and in 2009 during the period of study. The high tuna concentrations corresponded well with chlorophyll-a of 0.15-0.40 mg mg-3 and SST of 29.0-31.5 °C. The preferred ranges provide a good indicator for initially detecting potential skipjack fishing grounds. This study suggested that thermal and chlorophyll fronts as well as upwelling may important mechanisms in explaining the temporal and spatial dynamics of skipjack tuna distribution and abundance in Bone Bay.Keywords: skipjack tuna, potential fishing grounds, satellite images and front

The marriage contract without a guardian has become controversial among ulama, especially because the Hanafi School allows marriage without a guardian, which is different from the other three schools of thought. For this reason, the author compares the two views of scholars from the Syafi'iyah and Hanafiyah schools through their respective books, namely "Fath Mu'in" by Sheikh Zainuddin al- Malibari (Syafi'iyah) and "Al -Ikhtiyar Li al-Ta'lil al-Mukhtar" by Ibn Maudud (Hanafiyah). The aim of this research is: First, to understand the views of Sheikh Zainuddin al-Malibari regarding guardians in marriage contracts and legal ijtihad in "Fath Mu'in". Second, knowing Ibn Maudu's view regarding guardians in marriage contracts and legal ijtihad in "Al-Ikhtiyar Li al-Ta'lil al-Mukhtar". The type of research used in this research is qualitative research combined with library research in its data collection method which refers to primary, secondary data sources and also other sources that support this research. This research is a comparative analysis, namely describing, analyzing and comparing marriage contracts without guardians according to the opinions of Sheikh Zainuddin al-Malibari and Ibnu Maudud. the theory used by Maqasid asy-Syari'ah and bayani epistemology. The results of this research show one of the Maqasid ash- Syari'ah elements used in analyzing the opinions of Sheikh Zainuddin Al-Malibari and Ibnu Maudud in marriage contracts without guardians. The author found that the opinion of Sheikh Zainuddin al-Malibari places greater emphasis on the presence of a guardian in the marriage contract, because it aims to ensure that the bride's clear nasab (Hifz alnasl) is maintained. Meanwhile, Ibn Maudu's opinion emphasizes that women who have reached the age of puberty are considered to have sufficient maturity and capacity to make decisions regarding their soul mate and the course of their life without the need for the intervention of a guardian. This goes into the aspect (Hifz nafs). In Bayani's epistemological perspective, the results show that the two figures have different perspectives regarding the texts of the Qur'an and Hadith

Youth is an important element in society. Youth as the next generation must get serious attention from all circles to make it a superior generation. The reality of Indonesian youth, especially the Sasak, is experiencing many problems. Problems such as unity, fear of dreaming, not being tough, lack of education and knowledge of the current situation are serious problems among youth. Departing from this problem, T.G.K.H. Muhammad Zainuddin Abdul Madjid composed his poems related to youth. The poem explains how a person should act and behave. Therefore, it is important to study and research Maulid al-Barzanjī wa al-Anāsyīd al-Nahḍiyyah by T.G.K.H. Muhammad Zainuddin Abdul Madjid using Lucien Goldmann's genetic structuralism. This study uses Goldmann's dialectical method through the concept of understanding-explanation that connects the structure of literary works, social conditions, perspectives of the author and the author who gave birth to a literary work. This analysis is based on Lucien Goldmann's theory of genetic structuralism. The theory is a set of theories about human facts, collective subjects, structuration, author's worldview, and explanations. The data are in the form of words, phrases and sentences arranged in the form of stanzas. It aims to determine the structure of the literary work, the social conditions of the background and the author's perspective, and the relationship between the literary work and the author's world view. Based on the analysis, it was found that the thoughts of T.G.K.H. Muhammad Zainuddin Abdul Madjid about Youth to unite, dare to dream, have resilience, dare to assert their identity, learn science and understand the times they live. Youth are students of knowledge, fighters for religion and the state as well as candidates for scholars and leaders. Youth is the determining element in appointing intelligent and pious leaders, not ignorant and wicked ones

The objective of this study are to determine flying fish potential fishing zones (PFZ) based on satellite remote sensing and geographic information system (GIS) in Takalar waters, Flores Sea. This study was carried out from April to July 2009 using two types of datasets, satellite and catch data. Empirical cumulative distribution function (ECDF) was used to identify associations between flying fish catch and the oceanographic conditions. Results indicated that flying catch associated significantly with current velocity of 30 - 42.5 cm s-1, SST of 27.5 - 29.5??C and chlorophyll-a concentration of 0.30 - 0.80 mg m-3. These preferred ranges were overlain to formed the flying fish PFZ which mainly found in July in areas of 118??50???-119??30???E and 5??30???-6??0??? S, south-western Takalar waters. It suggests that all these reliable oceanographic ranges were a good indicator in identifying the PFZ which seems to well correspond with frontal or upwelling zones.\ud Keywords: Potential fishing zone, flying fish, remote sensing data, GI

To describe the short term relationship between oceanographic conditions and flying fish catches and to\ud visualize a spatial pattern of potential fishing grounds in the Flores sea, remotely sensed satellite images of sea\ud surface temperature (SST), chlorophyll-a concentration, fishing depth and absolute geostrophic current together with\ud catch data were used. Results indicated that the highest flying fish catch per unit efforts (CPUEs) occurred in areas\ud of SST 27.5-29.5 ??C, chlorophyll-a 0.25 - 0.70 mg. m-3 and current velocities 25.0 - 42.5 m. s-1. The fishing depth\ud locations have no significant correlation with the CPUEs. The three preferred oceanographic ranges provided a good\ud indicator for spatially detecting the potential flying fish fishing grounds particularly in the peak season. The\ud predicted potential fishing areas were located in the southwestern Takalar waters approximately 118??45???E-119??40???E\ud and 5??30???S-6??10???S and were confirmed by the fishing data. It is likely that the potential fishing grounds correspond\ud to the occurrence of the oceanographic structures such as upwelling and frontal zones which may be responsible for\ud concentrating the fish schools. This short descriptive study suggests that these findings provide some preliminary\ud results on the flying fish fishing grounds in the Flores Sea

To describe habitat characteristics of ocean hotspots for albacore tuna in the western North Pacific Ocean, this study used multi-spectrum satellite images together with catch data. Satellite data used were sea surface temperature (SST), photosynthetically active radiation, chlorophyll-a concentration and sea surface height anomaly (SSHA). While, catch data consisted of fishing position and albacore catch. This study applied the vertically generalized production model (VGPM) to estimate primary production level in fishing ground, generalized additive models to predict temporal trends and significant ranges of environmental factors and environmental probability index to locate spatial hotspot distribution. Results indicated that the most potential habitat hotspots occurred in November in areas of relatively warm SST of 18.09 - 21.47??C (19.78 ?? 1.69??C), relatively high chlorophyll-a of 0.18 - 0.44 mg m-3 (0.31 ?? 0.13 mg m-3) and relatively high positive SSHA of 13.4 ??? 29.0 cm (21.2 ?? 7.8 cm). The largest numbers of albacore occupied areas with primary production levels of 15.65-20.61 g C m-2 month-1 (18.13 ?? 2.48 g C m-2 month-1). It suggested that the habitat characteristics of ocean hotspots for albacore observed from multiple satellite platforms may correspond with eddy fields and oceanic fronts which have high probability indices

ProsidingTo describe spatial and temporal dynamics of sea surface temperature (SST) and chlorophyll-a concentration (Chl-a) and to identify the predicted area of fish distribution and migration in Makassar Strait, monthly mean remotely sensed satellite data in 2009 were used. Results showed that SST and Chl-a have different spatial and temporal patterns along Makassar Strait. SST tended to be high during the first transition season (March-May) and reached a peak in April at the level of approximately 30??C especially in southern area. Whilst, Chl-a appeared to be high during the west season (January-March) in the central and south of Makassar Strait. During that period, Chl-a ranged from 0.5 to1.0 mg m-3. The Chl-a started to significantly decrease in April and then tended to be constant through December. Most of potential predicted areas for pelagic fish such as for skipjack and mackerel in Makassar Strait developed in the southern area along South Sulawesi waters when progression of warm waters SST moved from southern area to the north from April to July. At the same time and location, Chl-a concentrations tended to gradually well enhance. As a result, skipjack tuna and mackerel were clearly identified to have the high probability of finding the fish in the southern area both December and in March. It suggests that satellite images provide a powerful tool to identify spatial and temporal fish distribution and abundance throughout a year in Makassar Strait
