Instansi pendidikan banyak yang mengajarkan teori tentang metalografi, salah satunya mereka mengerjakan proses pemolesan dengan alat manual. Hal tersebut dirasa kurang efisien sebab masih banyak menggunakan tenaga manusia, membutuhkan waktu dalam pengerjaan dan hasilnya kurang memadai. Oleh karena itu dirancanglah Mesin Poles Spesimen Metalurgi. Mesin ini menggunakan holder/pemegang benda uji sehingga mengurangi tenaga manusia. Untuk mengatur putaran motor menggunakan inverter sehingga dapat diatur putaran motor sesuai kebutuhan yaitu 0 rpm – 1500 rpm. Kontruksi dari mesin ini dibuat sesederhana mungkin, sehingga dapat menekan biaya pembuatan dan mudah dalam pengoperasiannya. Mesin ini mampu untuk melakukan proses pemolesan sehingga hasil permukaan benda uji halus, bebas goresan, mengkilap, dan menghilangkan ketidakteraturan permukaan benda uji. Mesin ini menggunakan sebuah motor listrik sebagai penggerak, piringan logam, dan sirkulasi air.     This paper examines the effectiveness of using websites in learning Arabic language for tourism purposes at the Department of General Studies, MARA Poly-Tech College (KPTM), Kelantan Darul Naim, Malaysia. This descriptive study sheds light on the issues in learning Arabic for specific purposes and analyzes the effectiveness of employing websites as the main tool in learning activities. This data was collected through a questionnaire survey and observation of the Basic Arabic Course for Tourism and Hospitality (HFA-1023) among 43 students who have registered and undergone the course for one semester in 2015. Descriptive quantitative analysis was used to analyze the data by using IBM SPSS statistical software. In general, the findings show that the use of a websites in learning the Arabic language for the purpose of tourism is effective among learners, and it provides good and proactive support for students in learning a language for specific purposes

    Software berbasis Finite Element Method (FEM) dapat digunakan untuk perancangan generator dikarenakan mampu membuat suatu model generator dengan menampilkan bentuk, cara kerja dan medan magnet pada generator. Kelebihan lainnya yaitu dapat menampilkan energi listrik yang dihasilkan oleh generator dalam bentuk kurva karakteristik tegangan, arus, daya masukan, daya keluaran, torsi dan efisiensi generator. Rancangan dibuat dengan menggunakan kombinasi pemodelan 12 slot 8 pole (12S8P). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisa hasil perbandingan pengujian rancangan generator sinkron magnet permanent dengan dilakukan pengujian simulasi variasi beban pada generator. Hasil uji simulasi berbeban dilakukan analisa dengan melihat grafik besaran tegangan, arus, torsi, daya masukan, daya keluaran dan efisiensi pada generator. Generator dengan output efisiensi terbesar pada perancangan 12 slot 8 Pole sebesar 94 % dengan tegangan output sebesar 445,01 V, arus sebesar 63,58 A torsi sebesar 232,88 Nm, daya masukan sebesar 21948,29 Watt, daya keluaran sebesar 20525,16 Watt. Oleh karena itu variasi beban pada perancangan generator mempengaruhi nilai dari hasil keluaran generator tersebut

    Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Sambirejo Kecamatan Mantingan Kabupaten Ngawi, dimana telah terjadi kerjasama (muzara’ah) sejak tahun 1991 sampai sekarang antara staff Yayasan Pemeliharaan dan Perluasan Wakaf Pondok Modern (YPPWPM) selaku pemilik sawah dan masyarakat selaku penggarap sawah untuk ditanam tanaman padi. Tujuan dari penelitian dilakukan untuk mengetahui praktik muzara’ah pengelolaan lahan pertanian di Desa Sambirejo Kecamatan Mantingan Kabupaten Ngawi dan untuk mengetahui sistem muzara’ah menurut Fikih muamalah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan obyek yang terjadi di lapangan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis kualitatif dengan metode berfikir deduktif, yaitu peneliti menganalisis dari yang umum ke khusus sehingga dapat diambil kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwasanya pelaksanaan akad Muzara’ah (bagi hasil) pengolahan lahan pertanian yang dilakukan oleh kedua belah pihak di Desa Sambirejo dari segi akad, ijab qabul, pembagian modal dan hasil sudah sesuai dengan Fikih Muamalah, kerja sama bagi hasil dilakukan berdasarkan kesukarelaan, transparancy dan kejujuran

    This research aims to know the relationship of the noise level, the work, shift work against work stress on employees at PT. Asahi Star Textile Industry Sragen. This research is quantitative research. The subjects used in this research employees working on the loom as much as 40 respondents out of a total of 60 employees at the loom. Data analysis techniques using multiple linear regression. There is a relationship between noise, working period, Shift work to stress of work. But individually working period there is no relationship with work stress means working period does not affect work stress, while noise and Shift work has a relationship with work stress. Noise, Period work, and Shift work affect work stress then it will also impact the performance of the employees so that their performance will not yield the maximum. Individually working period there is no relationship with work stress because the work has a positive impact against future employees. The noise contributions, working period, Shift work to stress of work amounting to 72%, so there are still some other factors influencing the stress of work

    Energy harvesting from tropical biomasses in Wallacea region: scenarios, technologies, and perspectives

    Wallacea attracts much attention from researchers because it is a meeting point between Asia and Australia with rich biodiversity. Therefore, bioenergy source identification in this region is crucial to better understanding biomass potential and utilization. On the other hand, national bioenergy development usually refers to government policies, including granting permits to use forest land, especially on unproductive land. Thus, balanced utilization of tropical forests as an energy source is required. It must consider several aspects comprehensively, including its function in protecting the surrounding landscape, contributing to food security, and creating economic opportunities for communities around forest areas. This paper addresses biomass utilization in the Wallacea region aligned with Indonesian policy targets for bioenergy generation to achieve the net zero emission target by 2060. The study is carried out by limiting the scope of the area and relying on international databases and the nation’s potential targeting biomass research. In addition, the recent development of conversion technologies is adjusted based on available biomass types, including geographic information systems for potential biomass analysis. The analysis and data synchronization are presented in charts, graphs, and tables. In the early section, the potential of biomass in the Wallacea is explained. The following section discusses several scenarios, routes, and utilization technology options for biomass utilization. Various studies that have been conducted are presented in this section, including machine learning adoptions to model and optimize biomass conversion processes. Furthermore, challenges and opportunities are discussed by looking at various factors, such as accessibility, socio-economics, life cycle assessment, and environmental issues.</p

    Displacement response of partially precast fly ash polymer concrete on the RC column-pilecap semi-rigid joint connection subjected to cyclic loading

    Abstract This study introduces a novel approach to enhancing seismic resilience through the displacement response of partially precast vinyl ester polymer concrete (VEPC) in semi-rigid column-pile cap joint connections under cyclic loading. By comparing VEPC connections of varying joint heights with conventional reinforced concrete (RC), the research highlights the superior performance of VEPC in seismic conditions. The optimized VEPC composition, incorporating vinyl ester resin, catalysts, fly ash, and iron sand, yields a material with significantly higher compressive strength and lower density than traditional concrete. Hysteresis loops from cyclic quasi-static lateral loading tests revealed that VEPC connections exhibited exceptional ductility, achieving greater drift ratios and deflections than RC counterparts. These connections transition seamlessly from elastic to plastic behavior, forming plastic hinges that effectively absorbed seismic energy, minimizing brittle failure and cracking. The optimal joint height balanced strength and ductility, making VEPC ideal for earthquake-prone regions. The low-viscosity VEPC enabled efficient precast construction, streamlining assembly while integrating sustainable fly ash to reduce environmental impact. This innovative semi-rigid system outperformed conventional RC in load-carrying capacity and deformation tolerance, offering a groundbreaking solution for seismic design. By fostering ductile, high-strength joints, VEPC paved the way for performance-based engineering, redefining structural connections to withstand cyclic loads with enhanced resilience. This advancement promises safer, more sustainable infrastructure, revolutionizing design practices in seismically vulnerable areas by prioritizing flexibility and durability

    Designing a cake oven with two heat sources is a study that aims to design and make cake ovens that can produce an oven that has heat spread evenly on each gutter, and the time and temperature of the oven can be adjusted according to needs. This study discusses about ovens made operated with a choice of 2 types of heat sources namely electricity and gas, gas as an alternative source of heat, maximum heating temperature of 120oC, research using library research methods and field research methods namely interviews and direct observation of oven use cake. Based on the research carried out the results of oven cake with 2 heat sources were obtained from the electrical element and from the gas stove. Based on the results of oven cake tests using electric heating elements obtained the temperature on chamfer one 112 °C, chamfer two 110 °C and chamfer three 105 °C. The test results using gas obtained temperature on gutters one 125 °C, gutters two 115 °C, and gutters three 120 °C. In the oven cake thermostats are added as readers of the temperature in the oven, thermocouple as a temperature sensor, timer as a roasting timer in the oven, and SSR (Solid State Rellay) as an automatic switch
