    This research is entitled persuasive techniques in the book of life once, means, then dies by ahmad rifa'i rif'an. Then reason for choosing this title is because a book that life once, means, then dies is the bestselling motivational book by ahmad rifa'i rif'an so that author wants to know the persuasive techniques he uses. Persuasive techniques are very important to research because of the requirements that must be met by the author in his work as a motivational book. This research includes qualitative research using data collection through documentation. The mehod used is content analysis. The data analysis technique used was data reduction, data presentation and drawing final conclusions. The results of research on persuasive techniques in the book Life Once, Means, Then Mati by Ahmad Rifa'i Rif'an found 71 data, including persuasive techniques 1) rationalization of 17 data, (2) identification of 35 data (3) suggestion of 8 data (4) conformity of 4 data (5) compensation of 4 data (6) replacement of 1 data, (7) projection of 2 data. Based on the findings of the research above, it can be concluded that the persuasive technique used by Ahmad Rifa'i Rif'an in the book life Once, Means, Then dies is more dominant using the persuasive identification technique because the book life Once, Means, then dies by Rifa'i Rif 'an and tend to use special and interesting things to influence readers, followed by rationalization, suggestion, conformity, compensation, replacement and projection

    History or dakwah journey of Prophet Muhammad and his companions is the process of building the law of Islamic shari'a, which until now has been followed by all Muslims. So that, this history is so important to be communicated, either oral or writing. Communication is the basic activities of human. It becomes the instrument to express the emotion, message and information. Communication has important role in human’s life. Because of it, many people communicate and create communication model. Tasaro GK is one of communicating history of Prophet Muhammad and his companions by novel. This research aims to represent history of Prophet Muhammad and his companions in Tasaro’s serial novel called by Muhammad. The result of this research shows that there are some communication models used by Tasaro GK in representing history of Prophet Muhammad and his companions, they are stimulus-response communication, linier communication, two-way communication, transactional communication, ritual and expressive communication, publicity communication, and reception communication. Kisah atau perjalanan dakwah Nabi Muhammad dan para sahabatmerupakan proses pembangunan hukum syari’at Islam yang sampai sekarang ini diikuti oleh semua umat Islam. Maka dari itu, kisah ini sangat penting dikomunikasikan, baik secara lisan atau pun tulisan.Komunikasi merupakan aktivitas dasar manusiayang menjadi instrumen untuk menyampaikan perasaan-perasaan (emosi), pesan atau informasi yang ingin disampaikan. Dari itu, komunikasi memiliki peranan penting dalam kehidupan manusia, sehingga dari berbagai jenis komunikasi yang dilakukan manusia, lahirlah model komunikasi.Tasaro GK merupakan salah seorang yang mengkomunikasikan kisah Nabi Muhammad dan para sahabat melalui tulisan: novel. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merepresentasikan kisah Nabi Muhammad dan para sahabat dalam serial novel Muhammad karya Tasaro GK. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada beberapa model komunikasi yang digunakan Tasaro GK dalam merepresentasikan kisah Nabi Muhammad dan para sahabatyaitu komunikasi stimulus-respon, model komunikasi satu arah, model komunikasi dua arah, model komunikasi transaksi, model komunikasi ritual dan ekspresif, model komunikasi publisitas, serta model komunikasi resepsi.     Permasalahan yang menyangkut dekadensi moral, akhir-akhir ini menjadi permasalahan yang sangat krisis di tengah-tengah masyarakat Indonesia. Islam telah menyumbangkan suatu konsep penataan jalan hidup yang komprehensif, salah satunya adalah taṣawuf. Adanya tasawuf di tengah-tengah zaman saat ini menjadi ikhtiyar solutif dalam memecahkan permasalahan dekadensi moral. Solusi tasawuf yang di bahas dalam penelitian ini adalah memfokuskan pada konsep makrifatullah menurut KH. Ahmad Rifa'i.Beliau memiliki pengalaman spiritual dan pengalaman agama yang diperoleh dari belajarnya, yaitu membuka kesadaran masyarakat untuk menjadikan Islam sebagai pedoman hidup dan semangat perjuangan, selain itu beliau juga memiliki corak pemikiran tasawuf di bidang zuhud, tawakal, makrifat, khauf, mahabah, ikhlas, dan tarikat.Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif, dengan metode content analysis dengan memperhatikan pokok pikiran dalam setiap deskripsi pembahasan penelitian, yang diambil literaratur kitab karya KH. Ahmad Rifa'i dan literatur literatur yang lain. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan bahwa makrifatullah menurut KH. Ahmad Rifa'i dapat memberikan kontribusi besar dalam menanggulangi dekadensi moral. Konsep makrifatullah menurut KH. Ahmad Rifa'i menjelaskan bahwa orang yang sudah mencapai tingkat makrifatullah, hatinya senantiasa melihat semua perbuatan dan kejadian di alam ini adalah baik, karena semua itu merupakan perbuatan Allah Swt. Konsep makrifatullah menurut beliau didasarkan pada tahapan-tahapan seperti takholli, tahalli, sehingga memunculkan perasaan takut (khauf) dan cinta (maḥabbah) kepada Allah Swt, setelah itu tercapailah puncak tajalliyah berupa makrifatullah. Maka dari itu dapat diketahui bahwa apabila seorang hamba telah mencapai tingkat makrifatullah, ia akan selalu merasa diawasi oleh Allah Swt dalam setiap tindakan dan perbuatannya. Dengan begitu, ia berusaha untuk menekan segala faktor penyebab terjadinya perbuatan tercela dan dapat mengurangi potensi terjadinya dekadensi moral

    This research shows intellectual relationship of four ulama of Kendal, i.e. Ahmad Rifa'i, Muhammad Idris, Muhammad Hadi and Ahmad Abd al-Hamid with ulama of Mecca in the 19th and 20th centuries. They familiarize Islam and gradually reform religious teachings to improve religious character in Kendal. In term of dissemination of ideas Ahmad Rifa'i, Muhammad hadi and Ahmad use the same media: i.e. writings. Meanwhile, Muhammad Idris is well-known as teacher for some prominent ulama and he himself memorizes the Qur'an. Therefore, the United Nations International Covenant megeluarkan on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR) as a global treaty that restricts the execution of the country that still has the death penalty. It was considered a solution to keep kelansungan human life includes the right to life, freedom, and human beings have the right to determine his life. View as it affected the Islamic law that still impose the death penalty is deemed to violate human rights.
