Evaluation of soil nutrient status is a way to be able to determine the needs and soil nutrient management techniques to be performed on an area of land .This study aimed to evaluate the nutrient status of the soil ( pH , N , P , K , Ca , Mg ) based on the position of the land in Inti Gambier Gardens Pakpak Bharat. It was conducted at Inti Gambier Garden Pakpak Bharat district, North Sumatera in March 2013 until June 2013. The method used in this research is descriptive method by conducting surveys and soil sampling based on the position of the land which is on the top of the hill , hillside and valley sectio. The results showed nutrient soil status of total-N in Inti Gambir Garden Plants Pakpak Bharat is likely to increase in the valley compared to the top of the hill and hillside . Dibimbing oleh Patahuddin dan Ahmadin 5 Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui situasi dan kondisi keadaan masyarakat ketika runtuhnya kekuasaan Jepang di Selayar, kemudian untuk mengetahui bentuk perlawanan rakyat Selayar dalam mengahadapi Sekutu danNICA, serta bagaimana peranan lasykar AMRIS dan PPNI sebagai organisasi perjuangan yang bertujuan untuk merangkul semua elemen masyarakat dari berbagai kampung untuk melakukan perlawanan kepada Sekutu dan NICA. Penelitian dilakukan melalui studi lapangan dan kajian pustaka dengan menggunakan metode sejarah yang melalui beberapa tahapan kerja, yaitu heuristik (pengumpulan sumber), verifikasi sumber, interpretasi dan historiografi (penulisan) yang merupakan pengungkapan kisah sejarah secara tertulis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa disaat runtuhnya pendudukan Jepang di Selayar pada tahun 1945 keadaan rakyat Selayar kian memburuk. Kebutuhan seperti sandang pangan sulit didapatkan, hal ini disebabkan karena hasil bumi Selayar digunakan untuk membiayai perang dalam melawan Sekutu. Disisi lain masih ada keuntungan sempat didapatkan oleh rakyat Selayar seperti pemberian latihan kemiliteran, dari keterampilan inilah yang digunakan untuk melawan Belanda dan Sekutu. Latarbelakang rakyat Selayar melakukan strategi gerilya dalam melawan Belanda adalah karena berawal dari tertangkapnya beberapa pemimpin seperti Rauf Rahman, Nastoera, Muh. Amin Solong, dan Muh. Ali Solong. Strategi gerilya dengan melakukan penyerangan dadakan dilakukan dengan harapan bahwa Belanda dapat dipukul mundur. Akan tetapi cara itu selalu digagalkan oleh Belanda. Berawal dari perlawanan ini ternyata telah mampu mempersatukan rakyat Selayar dalam sebuah wadah perjuangan yakni Angkatan Muda Rakyat Indonesia Selayar (AMRIS) dan Pusat Pemuda Nasional Indonesia (PPNI) Cabang Selayar. Dari kedua wadah inilah yang telah menjadi sarana untuk melakukan kerjasama dan bergabung dalam kesatuan Lasykar Pembertontak Republik Indonesia (LAPRIS) dan Kesatuan Gerilya Sulawesi Selatan (KGSS). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa dalam upaya mempertahankan kemerdekaan di Selayar kerap kali gagal, hal ini didasari karena persenjataan dan kekuatan yang dimiliki rakyat Selayar tidak seimbang dengan persenjataan dan kekuatan milik NICA, ditambah tertangkapnya beberapa pimpinan AMRIS dan PPNI. Dengan tertangkapnya beberapa pimpinan tersebut menyebabkan terjadinya kefakuman pergerakan yang dilakukan oleh rakyat disebabkan tidak ada yang dapat memimpin sehingga NICA mampu menguasai Selayar hingga adanya pengakuan kedaulatan

To address this issue, the author aimed to explore the use of systemic inflammatory biomarkers as complementary modalities for diagnosis of ovarian malignancy.Methods: This diagnostic study utilized a cross-sectional approach, with outcomes measured by AUC and sensitivity. A total of 132 patients with adnexal tumors were consecutively included and measured a complete blood count. From this, the MLR (Monocyte Lymphocyte Ratio), NLR (Neutrophil Lymphocyte Ratio), PLR (Platelet Lymphocyte Ratio), SII (Systemic Immune Inflammation Index), and SIRI (Systemic Inflammatory Response Index) biomarkers were calculated. After surgery, histopathological examination was performed as the gold standard and the biomarker predictions were then compared to it, followed by statistical analysis.Results: The AUC values for MLR, NLR, PLR, SII, and SIRI were 0.70, 0.731, 0.696, 0.743, and 0.722, respectively. The p-values were MLR (0.005), NLR (0.001), PLR (0.001), SII (< 0.001), and SIRI (< 0.001), respectively. In multivariate analysis, only SII was significant (p = 0.015). The Exp(B) and 95% CI were 5.472 (1.383– 21.655). The validity test for SII showed satisfactory results: sensitivity 71.64%, specificity 73.84%, PPV 73.84%, NPV 71.64%, accuracy 72.72%, LR+ 2.74%, and LR- 0.38%.Conclusion: Systemic inflammatory biomarkers, particularly SII may aid in the predictive markers of early ovarian with diagnostic values nearly as good as CA125 (sensitivity 71.64% vs 75.97%). These biomarkers can serve as complementary predictive markes modalities for ovarian malignancy, especially when advanced tumor marker tests like CA125 are not available in remote areas.Keywords: MLR, NLR, PLR, SII, SIRI, ovarian malignanc

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penanaman pohon gaharu, damar dan meranti pada lahan perkebunan karet terhadap sifat biologi tanah di Kecamatan Bohorok Kabupaten Langkat serta untuk melihat pengaruh tanaman sela yang terbaik pada lahan perkebunan karet tersebut. Penelitian dilakukan di Lahan Perkebunan Karet di Desa Batu Jonjong dan Desa Timbang Lawan pada bulan Februari 2016 sampai Juni 2016. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei analisis deskriptif dengan teknik sampling berdasarkan metode purposive sampling. Perlakuan tanaman yang digunakan yaitu : kontrol yaitu karet tanpa tanaman sela (K0), karet dengan tanaman sela gaharu (K1), karet dengan tanaman sela damar (K2) dan karet dengan tanaman sela meranti (K3). Parameter yang diukur yaitu C – Organik, N – Total, C/N, total mikroba, respirasi tanah, makrofauna tanah dan cacing tanah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penanaman gaharu, damar dan meranti memberikan pengaruh terhadap perbaikan sifat biologi tanah pada lahan perkebunan karet serta tanaman sela yang terbaik memberikan pengaruh terhadap perbaikan sifat biologi tanah adalah karet dengan tanaman sela damar (K2).   The objectives of the research ware to study the effect of Gaharu, Damar, and Meranti wood planting on rubber plantation site over soil biological properties in District Bohorok Langkat as well as to see the effect of the best tree for land space in rubber plantation.     THE ONOMATOPOEIA IN ROBERT VENDETTI’S COMIC “THE FLASH”

    AbstractThis research studied about the onomatopoeia in Robert Vendetti’s comic “The Flash”. The aims of this research was to find the kinds of onomatopoeia that are used by the author in The Flash comics and to know the lexical and contextual meanings of those onomatopoeia words in The Flash comic. This research applied descriptive qualitative method where the data were analyzed through Bredin’s theory. The researcher found that there are twenty-nine Onomatopoeia words that applied in The Flash comic and there are some onomatopoeia words that has no lexical meaning and some contextual meaning are similar with the lexical meaning. The researcher concluded that most of onomatopoeia words that applied in The Flash comic is Direct Onomatopoeia and there are only two Associative Onomatopoeia that applied in The Flash comic. The implication of this research is to give more description and comprehending about onomatopoeia. Moreover, it can be a reference for the student of Adab and Humanities faculty who attracted to observe the similar research. AbstrakThe Onomatopoeia in Robert Vendetti’s Comic “The Flash”. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menemukan jenis onomatopoeia yang digunakan oleh penulis dalam komik Flash dan mengenal makna leksikal dan kontekstual kata-kata onomatopoeia dalam komik Flash. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode kualitatif deskriptif yang mana data dianalisis melalui teori Bredin's. Peneliti menemukan bahwa ada dua puluh sembilan Onomatopoeia kata yang diterapkan dalam komik Flash dan ada beberapa onomatopoeia kata-kata yang tidak ada artinya leksikal dan beberapa arti kontekstual sama dengan makna leksikal. Peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa sebagian besar kata-kata onomatopoeia yang diterapkan dalam komik Flash adalah Onomatopoeia langsung dan ada hanya dua Onomatopoeia asosiatif yang diterapkan dalam komik Flash. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan keterangan lain dan memahami tentang onomatopoeia. Selain itu, dapat menjadi referensi untuk mahasiswa Fakultas Adab dan humaniora yang menarik untuk mengamati penelitian serupa

    Buku menghadirkan beragam naskah-naskah Tauhid yang ada di Indonesia Bagian Barat, tepatnya di Propinsi Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam, Sumatera Barat, Sumatera Utara, Riau, Sumatera Selatan, Kepulauan Riau, Banten dan Cirebon. Hadirnya buku tentunya menambah khazanah informasi dan pengetahuan mengenai berbagai naskah-naskah Tauhid yang disimpan baik oleh lembaga atau perorangan. Inventarisasi naskah-naskah Tauhid dalam buku ini dilatarbelakangi karena dari beberapa studi literatur dan katalog-katalog yang ada, naskah-naskah yang berisikan teks-teks taūhid di Nusantara cukup banyak dan menempati urutan ketiga setelah naskah-naskah fiqih dan Tasawuf.7 Selain itu, perkembangan Islam di wilayah Nusantara pada abad 16-19 memberikan warna dan khazanah tersendiri, dimana kajian dan pembahasan taūhid banyak dikaji dan dibahas oleh para ulama Nusantara, seperti naskah Hidayat al-Muhtadin karya Shaykh ‘Abd al-Shamad al-Jawi al-Fanshuri, Nur al-shalam karya Shaykh Nawawi al-Bantani, Hamzah Fansuri, Shamsu al-din al-Sumatrai, Nur aldin al-Raniri, dan ‘Abd al-Rauf al-Jawi al-Fanshuri, yang luar biasa produktif dalam menghasilkan naskah, baik untuk kepentingan belajar mengajar maupun untuk kepentingan lainnya

    The Effectiveness of Moringa Oleifera Seed Powder and Mixing Time (Fast-Low Speed) Using Jartest in Reducing Nitrate Levels in River Water

    Background:Moringa oleiferais a fast-growing, long-lived plant that blooms throughout the year and can withstand extreme arid conditions. Objective:This study aims to examine the effectiveness of Moringa oleiferaseed powder in reducing nitrate levels in river water. Method:The research method employed in this study involved analysis using the Paired Sample Statistical Test. Result:The statistical test results revealed a significance value of 0.017 (p < 0.05) and a mixing time variation significance of 0.011 (p < 0.05). These values indicate that the null hypothesis (H0: there is no relationship between the independent and dependent variables) is rejected, while the alternative hypothesis (Ha: there is a relationship between the independent and dependent variables) is accepted. This implies a significant difference in the reduction of nitrate levels between the pretest and posttest data, demonstrating that the use of Moringaseed powder is effective in reducing nitrate levels. Conclusion:This study concludes that the administration of Moringaseed powder at a dose of 400 mg/L, with a mixing time of 2 minutes at a fast speed (80 rpm) and 20 minutes at a low speed (40 rpm), is most effective in significantly reducing nitrate levels in river water.
