Genetic Mechanisms of Leaf Characteristics and Grain Yield in Maize under Normal and Moisture Stress Conditions
HETEROTIC ESTIMATION AND ADAPTABILITY OF TOMATO HYBRIDS FOR FRUIT YIELD AND ITS RELATED TRAITS IN PAKISTAN.
Current study is emphasizing on the estimation of heterosis for different yield attributing traits and adaptability of tomato hybrids. It was performed in the research area of VCRP, HRI, NARC Islamabad during 2018-2019. Crossing was completed among six parents followed by line × tester. The analyzed data depicted significant differences (P ≤ 0.01) among all the characters.Due to desirable high negative heterotic values hybrids Peto-86 × Nagina and Riograndi × Roma were found suitable for breeding early maturing hybrids. For plant height maximum positive heterosis was observed in Riograndi × Nagina, for no. of cluster/plant in Naqeeb × Roma, for traits like flower cluster-1, fruit cluster-1, fruit length & width and single fruit weight in Naqeeb × Continental while for yield Riograndi × Continental showed maximum heterosis. Therefore among 9 tested hybrids Naqeeb × Continental was found to be highly preferable and recommended for utilization in different breeding programmes
احمد حسین قمر کا ’’طِلِسمِ نارنج‘‘
Tilism e Naranj is a rarest Urdu romance (Dastan) belongs to Dastan e Ameer Hamza, one of the popular romance of classic Urdu literature. The authors of Tilism e Naranj is Munshi Ahmed Husain Qamar, who is famous among the writers of Dastan e Ameer Hamza of Newul Kishore Press Lucknow. He wrote several voluminious volumes of Dastan e Ameer Hamza. Besides those volumes he wrote the smallest parts of that particular dastan in the name of Tilism e Naranj which was printed by Munshi Newul Kishore Press Lucknow and published by J Narayan Verma publisher of Lucknow. Tilism e Naranj was published once in 1901, before the death of the writer, actually at the last stage of his life. Detailed introduction of Tilism e Naranj is done in this article and almost every aspect of book and its writer is described. A Dastan critic M Habib Khan claimed that Tilism e Naranj is the part of Dastan e Ameer Hamza of Newul Kishore Press Lucknow but Shamsur Rahman farooqi, renound critic and resarcher of Dastan e Ameer Hamza differ from it and wrote that Tilism e Naranj is not the part of long Dastan e Ameer Hamza of Newul Kishore Press. The writer also had a same openion with M Habib Khan, wrote before in his article, but now he amends his openion in this article and have a same openion with Shamsur Rahman Farooqui.

Eficácia do extrato de folha de Azadirachta Indica (Neem) e solução salina hipertônica como agente químico esterilizante intratesticular em cães
Castration refers to induced sterility via physical, chemical, or hormonal methods. Chemical castration is an efficient and reliable technique in contrast to other sterilization procedures as it is less painful to physical methods and cost?effective to hormonal methods. Azadirachta indica (neem), is a charismatic plant as its leaves possess anti-inflammatory, anti?microbial, and anti-androgenic chattels. To abate the escalating human population in South Asia, neem oil and neem leaf extract have been effectively used as a contraceptive agent. The key determinant of the current study was to evaluate Neem as a chemical sterilizing agent, (either necrotic or apoptotic), in dogs injected intratesticular in comparison to a hypertonic saline solution. Pre- and post-injection testicular width size and blood samples for serum testosterone levels were collected on alternative days. Results disclosed substantial changes in testicular width size, histopathological profile, and serum testosterone level. A non-significant (P > 0.05) pre-injection testicular width readings in contrast to a significant increase (P < 0.05) three days post-injection was noted in all the competitive groups. The mean values recorded for testicular width size at the end of the trial study via neem leaf extract, 30% HSS and, control groups were 27.7362 ± 2.3315mm, 30.9594 ± 4.6861mm, and 24.5023 ± 2.5387mm, respectively. A declining trend, regarding serum testosterone level being statistically significant (P < 0.05) was recorded in treated groups (A, B) in contrast to the control group (C) as the values were 1.5357 ± 0.7819ng, 1.2669 ± 0.9095ng, and 2.4517 ± 0.1827ng in groups A, B, and C, respectively. Histopathological findings advocated the presence of apoptotic bodies in the neem treated group whereas the presence of degenerated interstitial cells, necrosed seminiferous tubules, damaged germinal epithelium, and ceased spermatogenesis was also studied in both competitive groups. Thus, the apoptotic effect and anti-inflammatory property of neem leaf extract resulted in less painful castration and verified Azadirachta indica as a better substitute for chemical castration in contrast to hypertonic saline solution. © 2020, Universidade de Sao Paulo. Entropy Optimized Second Grade Fluid with MHD and Marangoni Convection Impacts: An Intelligent Neuro-Computing Paradigm
Artificial intelligence applications based on soft computing and machine learning algorithms have recently become the focus of researchers’ attention due to their robustness, precise modeling, simulation, and efficient assessment. The presented work aims to provide an innovative application of Levenberg Marquardt Technique with Artificial Back Propagated Neural Networks (LMT-ABPNN) to examine the entropy generation in Marangoni convection Magnetohydrodynamic Second Grade Fluidic flow model (MHD-SGFM) with Joule heating and dissipation impact. The PDEs describing MHD-SGFM are reduced into ODEs by appropriate transformation. The dataset is determined through Homotopy Analysis Method by the variation of physical parameters for all scenarios of proposed LMT-ABPNN. The reference data samples for training/validation/testing processes are utilized as targets to determine the approximated solution of proposed LMT-ABPNN. The performance of LMT-ABPNN is validated by MSE based fitness, error histogram scrutiny, and regression analysis. Furthermore, the influence of pertinent parameters on temperature, concentration, velocity, entropy generation, and Bejan number is also deliberated. The study reveals that the larger β and Ma, the higher f′(η) while M has the reverse influence on f′(η). For higher values of β, M, Ma, and Ec, θ(η) boosts. The concentration ϕ(η) drops as Ma and Sc grow. An augmentation is noticed for NG for higher estimations of β,M, and Br. Larger β,M and Br decays the Bejan number
