    The Traits of New Poetry in the history of modern Urdu Poem

    New poetry movement belongs to Lahore was an important literary movement started by a little group of poets in the prospect of social, economical &literary decline. This movement was a remarkable literary event of modern era , which enriched the urdu poetry specially poem by its originality , tools , ways of thinking and non traditional style of writing .The poets associated with New Poetry rejected the threadbare ways of art instead they regenerate the poetic, artistry and utopian atmosphere under their empiricism. Under the influence of worldwide literature and changes they demanded the new and extensive world of poets and poetry , in this way they got rid of traditions and set off for new poetic , social and inmost feeling . The combo and creation of these sentiments and experiences were so weired for old school, accustomed people that it creats vociferousness in the literary field but the New Poets didn’t give up. They continued their poetic journey on non traditional, single and novel ways of creation, as their style wasn’t accordance with the public mood & level they criticized and condemn by the critics, poets and readers despite of this , they open and iron out the modern literary ways and tools in urdu language and literature. They abundant the the urdu poem and open the doors for new horizons, the modern poem, prose poem even the modern short stories are the fruite of this movement , ambiguity was a great tool for New Poet’s creations and they used it skillfully and frequently, this tool widened the boundries of art and conception which inclined the readers towards modern literature. This article shows the affiliation and appropriation of New Poetry’s Movement in the history of urdu literature and introduce the position and status of this literary change

    Lahore has been of special importance in its geographical, political, economic, cultural, academic, literary and social status since ancient times. This city also has been famous for mosques, shrines, tombs, samadhies, temples, cemeteries, historical buildings, ancient mansions and lost memories. Historically, "Lahore" has been the name of a small town, a city and a province. Where Lahore had the honor of being a city of commercial, scientific and literary importance in India, it was also the place of various civilizations and cultures. It has also been the center of governments, movements and religions. Nothing can be said definitely about the first establishment of Lahore as a city. However, historians and researchers have definitely established their opinions in this regard. In present research paper those opinions have been critically analyzed. The annual Urs of Lahore's ancient Sufi poet Hazrat Shah Hussain Lahori and his disciple Hazrat Madhu Lal Qadri is celebrated not only as a religious devotion and respect but also as a cultural festival. Before the partition, the festival held on the occasion of the annual Urs of Madhu Lal Hussain was the largest cultural gathering of united India.     Globalization has engulfed almost the whole world, Urdu poetry is not an exception. Urdu poetry of the 21st century has fully embraced contemporary trends, globalization being one of the major trends. There are three major trends of globalization which include economic globalization, political globalization and cultural globalization. The impact of cultural globalization, has been examined in this article by analyzing the Urdu poem written in the 21st century. Globalization has attacked local civilization and culture, promoted consumer culture, merged national festivals with local festivals and consciously tried to eradicate local languages.   The poems of five renowned poets, Ali Muhammad Farshi, Tanveer Anjum, Javed Anwar, Hussain Abid and Masood Qamar, have been brought forward in this context.&nbsp
