Furanone Derivatives from Terrestrial Streptomyces spp.
No full textChemical investigation of the terrestrial Streptomyces sp. isolates GT2005/020 and ANK148 led to the isolation of two microbial furanone derivatives, 5-hydroxy-4-methylnaphtho[1,2-b]furan-3-one (1) and 4-hydroxy-5-methyl-furan-3-one (2), respectively, which have some similarity to quorum sensing molecules of the Al-2 type. In addition, the known compounds chalcomycin, ferulic acid, indole-3-acetic acid, uracil, thymine, 2'-deoxy-thymidin, monensin B (3), phencomycin, and l-acetyl-P-carboline were isolated. The structures of 1 and 2 were deduced from extensive studies of NMR (1D and 2D) and mass spectra. Additionally, the complete NMR shift assignments for monensin 13 (3) using H-H COSY, HMQC and HMBC experiments are reported here for the first time. We are describing the taxonomy and fermentation of the producing strains, the structure elucidation of the new metabolites and their bioactivity. No full textPurpose: This study was focused on giving an overview about UiTM optometry services in Puncak Alam and how it relates with the Global Competency-Based Model of Scope
of Practice in Optometry in company to other Asia country. World Council of Optometry (WCO) had developed the Global Competency-Based Model of Scope of Practice in
Optometry. Four categories of services include the optical technology services, visual function services, ocular diagnostic services and ocular therapeutic services. Method: There was a review made on the current UiTM optometry scopes together with the support from the data. The tools and instruments used inside of each clinic were taken from the lecturers and supervisors who conducted that particular clinic. Moreover, some of the data was also obtained from the facility computers provided for the optometry department. Result: About 14506 patients were recorded carried out an eye examination in UiTM Puncak Alam from early 2010 until late 2015. From 14506 patients, there were a total of 65.4% patients undergo the Primary Optometry Clinic (POC), 31.64% for Contact Lens Clinic (CLC), 1.83% for Pediatric Clinic, 1% for Binocular Vision Clinic and 0.15% for Low Vision Clinic. Conclusions: From all the service provided by optometry UiTM Puncak Alam, it proves that UITM optometry did provide the service according to the Global Competency-Based Model of Scope of Practice in Optometry. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penyebab pengemis pada kawasan Pantai Losari di Kota Makassar masih melakukan aktifitas mengemis, dampak yang terjadi akibat adanya pengemis di kawasan Pantai Losari, dan persepsi masyarakat tentang adanya pengemis di kawasan Pantai Losari Kota Makassar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif, dengan jumlah informan sebanyak 13 orang. Kriteria informan yaitu; pengemis yang berada di kawasan Pantai Losari, Unsur pemerintah Kota Makassar, serta pengunjung yang ada pada kawasan Pantai Losari Kota Makassar. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu; observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu; reduksi data, display data, kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Teknik pengabsahan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah membercheck.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa; 1). Pengemis melakukan aktifitas mengemis pada Kawasan Pantai Losari karena di sebabkan oleh; faktor ekonomi, faktor pendidikan, faktor ketergantungan, faktor lingkungan, dan faktor keterbatasan fisik. 2). Adapun dampak yang terjadi akibat aktifitas mengemis yaitu; masalah lingkungan, masalah kependudukan, masalah keamanan dan kriminalitas. 3). Persepsi masyarakat tentang pengemis seperti pengemis tersebut sangat mengganggu keamanan dan keindahan kota serta mengganggu kenyamanan pengunjung pantai losari.

This study aims to determine the relevance of the content of moral education values in the book of Maulid Simtudduror by al-Imam al-Habib Ali bin Muhammad al-Habsyi. The research is a library research type using descriptive analysis technique by collecting data or documents relating to the discussion theme and formulation of problems obtained from library sources, and then analyzed by reducing data, displaying data, and finally drawing the conclusion. The research result show Moral values contained in Simtud Duror book are; 1) chastity to Allah SWT that is by Exalting and Praising His Name, begs for blessing and be grateful, 2) chastity to Rasulullah PBUH that is by hail Sholawat when mentioning his name, 3) chastity to oneself, that is, by having a sense of shame, tell the truth, behave zuhud, have a strong determination, be gentle, and generous, 4) engage in matrimony, by selecting a good, fair, and compassionate spouse, 5) chastity in the society, that is, to fulfill any invitation without distinct its status, and always honest even when in joking.
Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui relevansi kandungan nilai pendidikan akhlak dalam kitab maulid simtudduror karya al-Imam al-Habib Ali bin Muhammad al-Habsyi. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis Library Research dengan teknik analisis deskriptif analisis, dengan cara mengumpulkan data atau bahan-bahan yang berkaitan dengan tema pembahasan dan permasalahannya, yang diambil dari sumber-sumber kepustakaan, kemudian dianalisis dengan mereduksi data, men-display data lalu memberikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai-nilai Akhlak yang terkandung dalam kitab Simtud Duror antara lain; 1) akhlak kepada Allah SWT yaitu menyucikan dan memuji asma-Nya, memohonkan ridho, dan bersyukur, 2) akhlak kepada Rasulullah SAW yaitu membacakan shalawat ketika disebutkan namanya, 3) akhlak kepada diri sendiri yaitu mempunyai rasa malu, berkata jujur, berperilaku zuhud, memiliki tekad kuat, lemah lembut, dan dermawan, 4) berkeluarga yaitu mampu memilih pasangan hidup yang baik, adil, dan kasih sayang, 5) akhlak bermasyarakat yaitu memenuhi undangan tanpa membeda-bedakan dan berkata jujur walaupun dalam bergurau

Scattering of Laguerre–Gaussian beam by a topological insulator cylinder coated with metamaterials
No full textA theoretical investigation is presented to study the orbital angular momentum (OAM) beam scattering from a topological insulator (TI) cylinder coated with metamaterials. To calculate the electromagnetic (EM) response of the scattered field, the field equations are modified using Laguerre–Gaussian (LG) potential and plane wave scattering. The response of the metamaterial coated geometry has been reported for Double positive (DPS), Double negative (DNG), Epsilon negative (ENG), and Mu negative (MNG) coating layers, respectively. The normalized bistatic echo widths for the TI cylinder also change by changing the topological charge (l), the radius of the metamaterial coated layer (b), source frequency (f), and beam waist radius (w0). Our result for LG00 beam exactly tones with plane wave scattering as a reference. Numerical results in the form of bistatic echo widths have been calculated. Besides, the prementioned parameters, the influence of OAM mode index on the bistatic echo width is also analyzed. It can be seen that OAM mode number plays major role in controlling the scattering amplitude and intensity

Implementing effective solutions and strategies to mitigate the adverse effects of prolonged screen usage on their eyesight and promote proper eye care practices is crucial. The Anti Eye-Fatigue Device System consists of two inputs: distance detected by the ultrasonic sensor and light intensity detected by the LDR sensor. Data from the sensor will be sent to the web server and displayed. Populasi dalam peneltian ini yaitu perusahaan LQ 45 di Indonesia yang
terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia sejak tahun 2013–2017 yaitu sebanyak
65perusahaan pada tahun 2013 sampai 2017 dengan sampel diambil secara
purposive sampling sebanyak 20 perusahaan. Data yang dikumpulkan merupakan
data sekunder dengan metode dokumentasi. Sebelum dilakukan analisis data
terlebih dahulu diadakan pengujian prasyarat analisis yang meliputi uji normalitas,
uji linieritas, uji multikolinieritas, uji heteroskedastisitas dan uji autokorelasi.
Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linear sederhana dan
regresi linear berganda.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada perusahaan LQ 45 yang terdaftar di
Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2013-2017 bahwa: 1) Ukuran KAP tidak mempunyai
pengaruh terhadap Audit Delay, 2) Ukuran Perusahaan tidak mempunyai pengaruh
terhadap Audit Delay, 3) Profitabilitas mempunyai pengaruh terhadap Audit
Delay, 4) Opini Auditor tidak mempunyai pengaruh terhadap Audit Delay, 5)
Ukuran KAP, Ukuran Perusahaan, Profitabilitas, dan Opini Auditor mempunyai
pengaruh secara bersama-sama terhadap Audit Delay, dan berdasarkan koefisien
determinasi sebesar 0,265, berarti variabel bebas tersebut secara bersama-sama
mempengaruhi 26,5% Audit Delay. Sebesar 73,5% ditentukan oleh variabel lain
yang tidak dibahas dalam penelitian ini
