The Life Path of Javer Effendi Baruch During the Austro-Hungarian Administration
No full textBased on available archival material and periodicals, the author reconstructs the life story of Javer Effendi Baruch, one of the most respected and wealthy citizens of Sarajevo, during the Austro-Hungarian administration of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The personality of Javer Eff. Baruch has not been thoroughly researched in the historiography so far. It is known that Baruch gained a social reputation during Ottoman rule. After the arrival of Austria-Hungary in Bosnia and Herzegovina, he not only managed to preserve and strengthen his social position but also acquired enviable wealth. This paper aims to present the unusual life path of a Sephardic from Sarajevo. The paper analyzes his life path from a supplier for military needs, a customs tenant, a Sarajevo city councilor, to a convict for insulting majesty. Based on the available historical materials, the existence of changes in the relationship between the then administration and society towards Javer Effendi Baruch after 1887 is examined

One of the contemporary Indonesian tafsirbooks is ‘Pesan-Pesan al-Qur’an’ by Djohan Effendi, whichdeserves to receive researchers’ and academics’ attention because of its uniqueness. Hence, this research aims to study and analyze this tafsirbook in terms ofbothmethodological aspect and book’s contents. The author uses the ‘Four Methods’ theory from Al-Farmawiy and also IslahGusmian’s concept for the methodological analysis. Finally, by some analysis and discussion, this research finds that Djohan’stafsir uses the ijmali methodcombined with the thematic method. The method of developing communicative skills for non-Arabic speakers in the perspective of Ahmad Fuad Effendi
No full textArabic teaching suffers from the problem of forming students who are proficient in communicative skills, as it is difficult to master, and the reason may be due to the lack of appropriate methods. The objectives of this research are to highlight the teaching methods for developing the communication skills of Indonesian students according to the perspective of Ahmad Fuad Effendi, one of the prominent experts in Arabic teaching in Indonesia. Researchers use qualitative approach by studying the perspective of experts in Arabic teaching. The data was taken from the documents related to the subject, especially the book Methods of Teaching the Arabic Language, and the interview with the author. The data was analyzed according to the theory of Miles, Huberman and Saldana. The results of this research, it is that the teaching methods for developing the communication skills of Indonesian students according to the perspective of Ahmad Fuad Effendi contain three things: (1) the need to benefit from the different language teaching methods, as there is no single method suitable for all circumstances and situations. (2) Emphasis on the communicative aspect in teaching Arabic, because the most important objectives of teaching Arabic are communication. (3) The application of intensive Arabic lessons to teach language skills, where sufficient study hours are available. The conclusion of this research indicated that mastering communication skills can be obtained from the use of various methods with special attention to communicative learning and intensive learning

No full textPenelitian ini memberikan gambaran dan informasi mengenai potensi ekosistem mangrove dalam pemanfaatan sumber daya yang ada sehingga dapat membantu perekonomian masyarakat pesisir, selain itu diperlukan kontribusi mangrove dalam ekosistem pesisir sebagai upaya untuk menekan gangguan terhadap keutuhan dan kelestarian fungsi wilayah pesisir dan laut agar dapat dimanfaatkan secara berkelanjutan. Metode dalam penelitian ini merupakan studi sistematis mengenai prinsip dasar yang mengaci pada suatu tujuan penelitian, dengan metode pendekatan indikator ekologi dan metode deskriptif untukg mengetahui strategi pengelolaan kawasan hutan mangrove. Pengamatan objek penelitian menggunakan NDVI yaitu Normalizes Difference Vegetation Index. Penentuan Responden menggunakan metode survei, wawancara dan observasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa didapatkan analisis NDVI dari tahun 2009 hingga 2023 menunjukkan peningkatan konsisten dalam kesehatan vegetaso, mencerminkan perbaikan dalam kepadatan dan kualitas ekosistem. Hasil pengamatan di Mangrove menunjukkan ekosistem mangrove dengan kompleksitas tinggi dalam sebaran dan kerapatan jenis terhadap penyebaran dipengaruhi oleh faktor nutrisi, salinitas air, dan gangguan manusia seperti alih fungsi hutan
