    U ovom istraživanju je bio cilj izvršiti sintezu dobivenih rezultata teorijskim i empirijskim istraživanjem problematike stilova vodstva na motivaciju zaposlenih, kako bi se utvrdio utjecaj u navedenom odnosu. Znanje o stilovima vodstva managementa i motivacijskim teorijama je iznimno veliko i opsežno, na temelju čega je odabrana i tematika ovog istraživanja u koju su kao uzorak uključene OTP banka d.d i Raiffeisen banka Austria d.d. Empirijsko istraživanje, za potrebe ovog diplomskog rada, je izvršeno anketiranjem menadžera i zaposlenika OTP banke d.d na području grada Dubrovnika te Raiffeisen banke Austria d.d na području grada Zagreba. Ankete su osobno dostavljene ispitanicima navedenih banaka na području grada Dubrovnika i Zagreba kako bi se ispitala radna hipoteza kojom se utvrđuje ovisnost između stilova vodstva i motivacije djelatnika u OTP banci d.d.i Raiffeisen banci Austria d.d. Ovo istraživanje može biti od koristi menadžerima u praksi te teoretičarima koji se bave ovom problematikom. Povećanje uzorka menadžera dalo bi još konkretnije zaključke o stilovima vođenja i motivacije zaposlenika u OTP banci d.d.i Raiffeisen banci Austria d.d.The objective of this study was to identify leadership styles and its effect on staff motivation based on results obtained by theoretical and empirical research. Research in the field of leadership, management characteristics, and staff motivation are aplenty and thus this study was applied to a sample of OTP bank d.d. and Raiffeisen bank Austria d.d. Observational research was performed by conducting interviews with management and employees of OTP bank d.d. and Raiffeisen bank Austria d.d. in the selected sampling, testing the working hypothesis which establishes that there is a direct correlation between management style and employee motivation. Questionnaires are personally delivered to respondents listed of OTP bank d.d. in the city of Dubrovnik and Raiffeisen bank Austria d.d. in the city of Zagreb, to test a working hypothesis which establishes that there is a positive relationship between the leadership style of managers and employee motivation in OTP bank d.d. and Raiffeisen bank Austria d.d. This research may be useful to managers in practice and theorists who deal with these issues. Increasing the sample of managers would give more concrete conclusions about leadership styles and motivation of employees in OTP bank d.d. and Raiffeisen bank Austria d.d

    Tema mog završnog rada je Integrirana marketinška komunikacija na primjeru poduzeća Borovo d.d. U nastavku rada objasniti ćemo općenito što je komunikacija, kakvi oblici komunikacije postoje i od čega se sastoji model procesa komunikacije. Zatim ćemo nešto više reći o integriranoj marketinškoj komunikaciji i o njezinih sedam oblika. Govoriti ćemo o oglašavanju, izravnoj marketinškoj komunikaciji, unapreĎenju prodaje, osobnoj prodaji, odnosima s javnošću, publicitetu i vanjskom oglašavanju. I za kraj ćemo nešto reći o poduzeću Borovo d.d. i objasniti ćemo kako izgleda integrirana marketinška komunikacija na njihovom primjeru.The subject of my graduation is Intergrated marketing communication on the example of Borovo d.d. company. In the continuation we will explain in general what communication is, what forms of communication exist and what the model of the communication process consists of. Then we will say something more about intergraded marketing communication and its seven forms. We will talk about advertising, direct marketing communication, sales promotion, personal sales, public relations, publicity and outdoor advertising. And finally we will say something about Borovo d.d. and we will explain what integrated marketing communication looks like on their example

    The turbulent dissipation rate from PIV measurements

    The result of a particle-image velocimetry (PIV) measurement is a velocity field averaged over interrogation windows. This severely affects the measurement of small-scale turbulence quantities when the interrogation window size is much larger than the smallest length scale in turbulence. A direct measurement of the dissipation rate demands the measurement of gradients of the velocity field, which are now underestimated because the small-scale motion is not resolved. A popular procedure is to relate the statistical properties of the measured, but underresolved gradients to those of the true ones, invoking a large-eddy argument [3]. We show that the used proportionality constant, the Smagorinsky constant, should depend on the window overlap, on the used elements of the strain tensor, and on the way in which derivatives are approximate

    Predmet ovog diplomskog rada je „Računovodstveno praćenje ulaganja u ovisne poduzetnike u poduzeću Valamar Riviera d.d.“. Pojam ulaganja u ovisne poduzetnike obuhvaća stjecanje 50% ili više dionica nekog poduzetnika čime se stječe kontrola nad tim poduzetnikom i uključuje ga se u konsolidirane financijske izvještaje. Ovim radom dan je pregled postupaka ulaganja poduzeća u ovisne poduzetnike, od postupka obračuna poslovnih spajanja sve do priznavanja i mjerenja ulaganja te sastavljanja konsolidiranih financijskih izvještaja. Valamar Riviera d.d. svrstava se u skupinu velikih poduzeća i stoga je u obvezi koristiti Međunarodne standarde financijskog izvještavanja u poslovnim kombinacijama. Valamar Riviera d.d. kao matično poduzeće koje posjeduje šest ovisnih poduzetnika obveznik je sastavljanja nekonsolidiranih i konsolidiranih financijskih izvještaja. Pod pojmom konsolidiranih financijskih izvještaja obuhvaćena su financijska izvješća Valamar Riviere d.d. i svih ovisnih poduzetnika. Kako bi se prikazalo stvarno financijsko stanje i položaj grupe provode se eliminacijska knjiženja transakcija između ovisnih poduzetnika i Valamar Riviere d.d. Kod izrade nekonsolidiranih financijskih izvještaja važan je odabir modela priznavanja i mjerenja ulaganja u ovisnog poduzetnika, Valamar Riviera d.d. mjeri ulaganja u ovisne poduzetnike sukladno MSFI 9. Kroz praktični dio rada prikazana su eliminacijska knjiženja između matičnog poduzeća i njezinih šest ovisnih poduzetnika te promjene u ulaganjima Valamar Riviere d.d. u ovisne poduzetnike kroz četvrtgodišnje razdoblje.The subject of this thesis is "Accounting for investments in subsidiaries in the company Valamar Riviera d.d.". The term investing in subsidiaries includes the acquisition of 50% or more of the shares of an entity by which control of the entity is acquired and included in the consolidated financial statements. This paper provides a complete overview of the company's investment procedures in subsidiaries, from the process of calculating business combinations to the recognition and measurement of investments and the preparation of consolidated financial statements. Valamar Riviera d.d. is classified as a large companie and is therefore obliged to use International Financial Reporting Standards in business activities. Valamar Riviera d.d. as a parent company that owns six dependent entrepreneurs, is obliged to prepare non-consolidated and consolidated financial statements. The term consolidated financial statements includes the financial statements of Valamar Riviere d.d. and all dependent entrepreneurs. In order to show the actual financial situation and position of the group, elimination entries of transactions between dependent entrepreneurs and Valamar Riviere d.d. are carried out. When preparing non-consolidated financial statements, it is important to choose a model for recognizing and measuring the investment of the dependent entrepreneur, Valamar Riviera d.d. measures investments in dependent entrepreneurs accourding to IFRS 9. Through the practical part of the thessis, the elimination entries between the parent company and its six dependent entrepreneurs and changes in the investments of Valamar Riviere d.d. are shown over a four-year period

    How the dispersion of a droplet cloud depends on its initial size

    A cloud of droplets evolves under the influence of strong turbulence. The droplets are made from a phosphorescent fluid. From this cloud we select at t = 0 a narrow line by exciting the droplets with a UV laser, which causes them to glow for a few milliseconds. The dispersion of this line is followed in time using a fast intensified camera. A large range of droplet sizes (Stokes number St) was measured. It appears that lines with St \approx 1 disperse faster than a line of fluid tracers. Lines of droplets which are narrowest initially, spread fastest

    Increasingly, educators make use of learning-by-doing approaches to teach students of STEM programmes the skills that they need to become successful in careers in research and development. However, we argue that the technical challenges addressed in these programmes are often too limited and therefore do not support the students in gaining the more advanced skill sets required to thrive in our technology-oriented economy. We therefore suggest to incorporate realistic and complex challenges that model real-world problems faced in industrial settings. Focusing on the domain of recommender systems, we see potentials in embedding recommender systems challenges to enhance student learning to teach students the skills required by modern data scientists

    Kroz završni rad obradit će se pojam zajma (kredita). U radu će biti prikazan model otplate zajma jednakih anuiteta, model otplate jednakih otplatnih kvota te konverzija zajma. Primjeri otplate zajma jednakih anuiteta i jednakih otplatnih kvota prikazat će se na kreditima Karlovačke banke d.d. i Privredne banke Zagreb d.d.. Analizirat će se koja banka je povoljnija po kamatama, te koja banka nudi više različitih kredita. U radu će biti navedeni zahtjevi za izdavanje kredita, bit će dan kratki prikaz povijesti i nastanak svake banke. Nakon općih podataka o banci, obradit će se vrste kredita. Uz svaku vrstu kredita bit će prikazan model otplate istog kredita svake banke, te će se uspoređivati.This final paper deals with the model of the loan by equal annuities,the model of repayment by equal installment quotas and with loan conversion.The examples of loan repayment by equal annuities and equal repayment quotas are explained on loans offered by Karlovačka banka d.d. and Privredna banka Zagreb d.d. The analysis has been made in order to establish the bank offering a wider range of loans and the one with more favourable interest rate.The fill-in loan forms as well as brief accounts of the history and origin of each bank are given. Furthermore, this paper describes all types of loans offered by the two banks.The comparative analysis has been made of loan repayment model for the same loan offered by the two banks

    Ovim diplomskim radom nastoji se pobliže istražiti i objasniti važnost primjene marketinških strategija u poslovanju poduzeća. Rad je prikazan na konkretnom primjeru poduzeća Franck d.d. U teorijskom dijelu rada analizirani su sami pojmovi marketinga, strategije, analize okoline uključujući eksternu i internu okolinu, kao i sami proces odabira i implementacije marketinških strategija. Na analiziranom primjeru poduzeća Franck d.d. istražena je njegova vanjska i unutarnja okolina, provedena je SWOT analiza, kao i Porterov model pet konkurentskih snaga kako bi se utvrdilo stanje i pozicija samog poduzeća na tržištu. Provedene analize ukazale su da Franck d.d. kvalitetno implementira svoje marketinške strategije što omogućuje prepoznatljivost Franckovih proizvoda na tržištu te osigurava lidersku poziciju.This thesis seeks to explore more closely and explain the importance of applying marketing strategies to the business of the company. The paper is presented on an example of the company Franck d.d. The theoretical part of the paper analyzes the concepts of marketing, strategy, environmental analysis including the external and internal environment, as well as the process of selection and implementation of marketing strategies. In the analyzed example of Franck d.d. its external and internal environment was investigated, SWOT analysis was carried out, as well as the Porter model of five competitive forces in order to determine the position and position of the company itself on the market. The conducted analyzes indicated that Franck d.d. has a quality implementation of its marketing strategies, which enables the recognition of Franck products on the market and ensures leadership position

    Funkcije menadžmenta su redom: planiranje, organiziranje, vođenje, upravljanje ljudskim potencijalima i kontrola. Predmet istraživanja ovog rada odnosi se na analizu funkcije planiranja. Funkcija planiranja temeljna je funkcija menadžmenta. Ona prethodi svim ostalim funkcijama i postavlja temelj na kojeg se nadovezuju sve ostale funkcije. Planiranje ima za cilj analizirati relevantne informacije iz prošlosti, trenutno stanje te procijeniti mogući razvoj budućih aktivnosti. Cilj je ovog rada predstaviti osnovne značajke menadžmenta s naglaskom na funkciju planiranja. Svrha je ovog rada ustanoviti važnost funkcije planiranja za cjelokupno funkcioniranje poslovne organizacije. Teorijski koncept prikazan je na primjeru iz prakse. Odabrani poslovni subjekt je Kraš d.d. Najvažniji izvori podataka za pisanje završnog rada su stručne knjige i članci iz područja menadžmenta i organizacije. Korišteni su i internet izvori. Znanstvene metode koje su korištene za pisanje završnog radova su: metoda analize, metoda sinteze, metoda klasifikacije, metoda konkretizacije, metoda generalizacije i metoda poslovnog slučaja. Rad se sastoji od pet poglavlja. Uz Uvod i Zaključak, predstavljene su osnovne značajke menadžmenta i planiranja kao funkcije menadžmenta. Fokus istraživanja odnosi se na analizu funkcije planiranja poduzeća Kraš d.d. Temeljem istraživanja poduzeća, opći je zaključak kako je funkcija planiranja u poduzeću vrlo kvalitetna i organizirana. Poduzeće Kraš d.d. pripada kategoriji velikih poduzeća. Shodno tome, planiranje je opsežno i iziskuje velike troškove. Poduzeće Kraš d.d. prepoznalo je važnost kvalitetnog planiranja i kontinuirano ulaže u zaposlenike kako poslovni uspjeh ne bi izostao. Neke od prepreka planiranju jesu strah od neuspjeha, krizni menadžment, niska iskoristivost planova, veliki trošak planiranja i sl.The functions of management are in order: planning, organizing, leading, human resources management and control. The subject of research in this paper is the analysis of the planning function. The planning function is a fundamental function of management. It precedes all other functions and lays the foundation to which all other functions build. Planning aims to analyze relevant information from the past, the current situation and assess the possible development of future activities. The aim of this paper is to present the basic features of management with an emphasis on the planning function. The purpose of this paper is to establish the importance of the planning function for the overall functioning of a business organization. The theoretical concept is presented on an example from practice. The selected business entity is Kraš d.d. The most important sources of data for writing a thesis are professional books and articles in the field of management and organization. Internet sources were also used. The scientific methods used to write the final papers are: method of analysis, method of synthesis, method of classification, method of concretization, method of generalization and method of business case. The paper consists of five chapters. Along with the Introduction and Conclusion, the basic features of management and planning as functions of management are presented. The focus of the research is on the analysis of the planning function of the company Kraš d.d. Based on the research of the company, the general conclusion is that the planning function in the company is very high quality and organized. The company Kraš d.d. belongs to the category of large enterprises. Consequently, planning is extensive and requires high costs. The company Kraš d.d. recognized the importance of quality planning and continuously invests in employees so that business success is not lacking.     Ovim diplomskim radom nastoji se pobliže upoznati sa pojmovima strategije rasta i razvoja poduzeća. Rad je prikazan na primjeru poduzeća Dukat d.d., njegovoj analizi i stanju na tržištu. U teorijskom dijelu analizirani su sami pojmovi strategije i strategijskog rasta, analiza okoline poduzeća, SWOT analiza poduzeća Dukat d.d. te pogled u budućnost, kako bi se poduzeće moglo nastaviti razvijati. Radom je obuhvaćena tema strategijskog rasta što može poslužiti poduzećima kao okvir za razvijanje njihova rasta u vidu daljnjeg razvijanja unutar samog poduzeća te na vanjskim tržištima. Poduzeće ima priliku ojačati svoju poziciju na domaćem tržištu povećanjem otkupne cijene sviježeg sirovog mlijeka te bi na taj način proizvođači mlijeka dobivali više novca po litri mlijeka. Samim time, dolazilo bi do povećanja kvalitete proizvedenog mlijeka te boljih i kvalitetnijih proizvoda. Zaključno, sve tri strane bi bile zadovoljnije, proizvođači, potrošači i poduzeće.This diploma work seeks to get more familiar with the concepts of enterprise growth strategy. The work is focused on Dukat d.d., its analysis and market situation. In the theoretical part, the concepts of strategy and strategic growth, business environment analysis, SWOT analysis of Dukat d.d. and look to the future so that the company could continue to develop. The work deals with the theme of strategic growth, which can serve as a framework for the growth of their growth in the form of further development within the company itself and in the external markets. The company has the opportunity to strengthen its position on the domestic market by increasing the purchase price of fresh raw milk so milk producers will receive more money per liter of milk. Thus, there would be an increase in the quality of the milk produced and of better and better quality products. In conclusion, all three sides would be more satisfied, producers, consumers, and companies
