Pengembangan tata bahasa baku bahasa Indonesia (TBBI) daring terpadu
Art Education for Building Leadership Character
Education has already been an essential need for everyone. There are three (3) main goals in education: development of knowledge, skills, and attitudes. Development of attitudes aims to create a certain character for the learners. From the beginning, art education given in schools is intended to provide a balance with the group-oriented education in the sharpening of reason and logic. Art education, aiming to smooth manners, shaping personality traits and have a high sense of the cultural values of a nation. This paper aims to describe the potential of arts education in fostering leadership and character building with a mix of Javanese concept of leadership in the puppet story. For that row will be described on (a) leadership character in Java, (b) the potential of arts education in developing character in this case through art, (c) the author's experience in developing leadership through art education (d) conclusions and recommendations. Keywords: art education, art student functions, leadership character Java, graphics cli
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
HPSG analysis and computational implementation of Indonesian passives
This study aims to analyze and develop a detailed model of syntax and semantics of passive sentences in standard Indonesian in the framework of Head-Driven Phrase Structure Grammar (HPSG) (Pollard & Sag, 1994; Sag et al., 2003) and Minimal Recursion Semantics (MRS) (Copestake et al., 2005), explicit enough to be interpreted by a computer, focusing on implementation rather than theory. There are two main types of passive in Indonesian, following Sneddon et al. (2010, pp. 256-260) and Alwi et al. (2014, pp. 352-356), called ‘passive type 1’ (P1) and ‘passive type 2’ (P2). Both types were analyzed and implemented in the Indonesian Resource Grammar (INDRA), a computational grammar for Indonesian (Moeljadi et al., 2015)
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Finally, we show by means of an example that our findings have a high practical relevance.information science;Pearson correlation;cosine;similarity measure;author cocitation analysis
This paper deals with possessive verbal predicates in Indonesian, both the present high variety which is originally based on Riau Malay, and the present low variety, which is called "Colloquial Jakartan Indonesian" in Sneddon (2006). The eight predicates in Moeljadi (2010) are chosen as the object of discussion: three possessive verb predicates, memiliki, mempunyai, and punya; two existential verb predicates, ada and ada ... =nya; and three predicates with the denominal affixes: ber-, her-...-kan, and -an. This paper tries to answer whether the frequency of occurrence of each possessive verbal predicate differs according to whether it appears in the high or low variety. A storytelling survey was conducted in Malang and Tokyo in 2011, in order to determine the speakers\u27choice of predicates in both varieties, based on the assumption that the speakers choose different possessive verbal predicates for different varieties. Quantitative analysis of variables and correlation coefficient are employed to investigate the statistical relationship between the low variety\u27s tokens and the predicate tokens. The main result is that memiliki is primarily used in the high variety, while punya is very frequently used in the low variety. Moeljadi(2010)では、インドネシア語に8つの所有動詞述語構文(X memiliki Y, X memρunyai Y, X punya Y, X ada Y, X ada Y =nya, X ber-Y, X ber-Y-kan Z, X Y-an)があると述べた。
