أضواء على ماهية الشريعة الإسلامية بإندونيسيا و كيانها و تأسيسها و تجديدها و تنميتها و مستقبلها
This paper attempts to explain the existence and institutionalization of Islamic law in Indonesia. The first part of this writing explores the existence of Islamic law which is perceived in two big periods, the pre-independence period and the post independence period. In the following part, the author focuses the dynamics of post-independence period by showing momentum in 1970 when the state officially acknowledged religous court as a separate entity to become one of fully sovereign courts in the judiciary. The main argument of the paper is that the state policy has allowed a room for Islamic law to emerge and exist, although the religious court at that time only dealt with civil law in the area of family law for indonesian muslims. Institutionally, Islamic law has been recognized as a sub-system in the national law system. Furthermore, society’s awareness of the Islamic law is developed significantly due to the role of Muslim intellectuals and Muslim scholars who actively promote society’s awareness of the law.</p

abstract: Stereotypical construction of buildings, however convenient, poses its own set of challenges. It affects the sustainable development critically and can give rise to social, economic and environmental problems. In other words, same design of a building if repeated irrationally from one place to another even within an identical climatic region gives rise to some grave problems which can compromise multiple dimensions of sustainability. Mosque architecture has some elements that have gradually become its identity. In this research different elements of repetition i.e. stereotype features in mosque architecture are explored. While using a case study approach this research is used to assess mosque projects in an urban region of Lahore, Pakistan. While considering the case studies the positive and negative effects of stereotype elements on three dimensions of sustainability are investigated
Buildings and Their Integration in Communities: Case Study of a Parking Plaza
abstract: The development of projects in isolation and such treatment by urban development authorities can lead to socioeconomic success or failure in projects. This dilemma has its roots in poor initial planning both at the level of individual project, and that of community and neighborhoods. Although the facts like project success or failure are readily determinable in case of socioeconomic sustainability, it is difficult to determine how various variables interact in determining project success. This research is aimed at using system dynamics for investigating the phenomenon of unpopularity of building projects within the urban fabric. An attempt is made to discuss the case study of a parking plaza in its context and for detailed investigation of this building, systems thinking methodology is employed. The research has highlighted various variables that have a role to play in making the case study project an example of success or failure in terms of sustainability. The practice of using systems thinking in case of deeply rooted sustainability analysis has brought some new insight which seems to have a promising role to play

Dynamic Management of Cost Contingency: Impact of KPIs and Risk Perception
abstract: Risks are inherent in construction projects. In order to manage risks, contingency amount is set aside usually in an escrow account. Cost contingency can be a handsome amount that would get blocked during the execution of the project for further use, incurring constant opportunity cost. The stakeholders may wish to use this held amount for other endeavors during project execution. The managerial practices for dynamic contingency management are of extreme importance. Stakeholders anticipate risks and hindsight project performance by eyeing key performance indicators of a project to direct decisions. The aim of this research is to integrate project key performance indicators with future risk perception to develop a decision support system for facilitating cost contingency release requests. The model is expected to help decision making to ease the managerial burden ensuring effective use of contingency. The findings are not conclusive due to ongoing nature of research
REKONSTRUKSI KONSEP KETAHANAN KELUARGA DALAM PERNIKAHAN PERJODOHAN (STUDI PASANGAN MUDA DI WILAYAH JAKARTA)
Nowadays, parents tend to give leeway to their children in choosing potential
partners. On the other hand, children also have their own preference criteria in
choosing a potential partner. The author found several young couples in Jakarta
who had arranged marriages. They can survive for years without any divorce. Their
family has also fulfilled the aspects that are benchmarks for a family to be
considered to have a high level of resilience.
The author is interested in researching what factors contribute to the
occurrence of arranged marriages among young people in Jakarta, how they run
their households so they can survive, and what Maqasid al-Usrah views on the
resilience of their families. This type of research is empirical research with
qualitative methods. This research is descriptive analytical and uses a
phenomenological sociological approach. The author used the family strenght
concept by Nick Stinnet and John DeFrain, as well as the Maqasid al-Usrah by
Jamaluddin 'Athiyyah. The primary data consists of statements from four arranged
marriage couples living in Jakarta. Secondary data consists of books, theses, articles
from scientific journals, and other sources related to the theme.
The author concludes that the factors behind the occurrence of arranged
marriages among young people in Jakarta are parental factors. The parents have a
sense of responsibility for their child's future so they want the best partner for them.
The interviewees also accepted the arranged marriage for relatively the same
reasons, they belief that the prospective partner approved by their parents was the
best. In running their households, they have six criteria consisting of 28 components
which are indicators that a family can be said to have resilience. Of the 28
components, there are several components that are less significant in one of the
interviewee's families. However, this does not reduce the resilience and harmony
of their family. Family resilience is greatly influenced by mental readiness, family
background and education. All components contained in the resource person's
concept of family resilience are in accordance with the Maqasid al-Usrah by
Jamaluddin 'Athiyyah. Advice for parents who match their children; should
consider the impact of arranged marriages on children because not all children can
accept and understand the good intentions of their parents. Therefore, the readiness
and mental maturity of children is something that must be prepared long before
planning an arranged marriage, even from a relatively young age. For married
couples who marry because they are arranged; they should enrich themselves and
their families with the family resilience criteria in this research to create family
resilience in the household. For unmarried youth; they should seek as much
knowledge as possible about marriage and the dynamics of building a household.
This is important to prevent undesirable things after the marriage ceremony
