Aspects of pathogenicity of Streptococcus pyogenes group A
No full textThis thesis has sought to characterize some of the factors that influence the production, purification and toxicity of streptolysin S (SLS) from Streptococcus pyogenes group A. Two strains, C203S and 55903M, were examined for the production of SLS. Of these, C203S produced the highest yield. Production of the lysin in brain heart infusion broth (BHI,Difco) supplemented with 1% (w/v) maltose and 2% (w/v) sodium bicarbonate (BHI-BM), was maximal between the early and late exponential phases of growth. SLS production was examined in both strains grown in BHI-BM (Oxoid) and BHI-BM (Difco). Cultures in the latter medium gave the higher yields of SLS. For intensive production of SLS, a procedure involving fourteen "inductions" was carried out on the same pellet of bacteria, which was repeatedly resuspended in induction buffer and stimulated each time with RNA-core, SLS was synthesized de novo during each induction cycle, and inhibitors of protein synthesis such as chloramphenicol blocked its formation. The combined material from the 14 inductions (crude SLS) was further purified by hydroxylapatite column chromatography. The purified product had a specific activity of 3.5X10

In the process if the movement entered a narrow shipping channel in the
river, it takes a special skill and attention more than sailing on the high seas. Even
in the IMO's rules Colreg’s give special attention to Rule 9 of the narrow shipping
channel. Besides the issue of groove width and depth of the river, busy traffic can
also cause danger to the ship, such as the danger of collision and ran aground.
Also in manouvering at musi river , we must know everything that must be
considered in manouvering at musi river and how the risk assessment process if
the manouver at musi river.
In writing this essay, the author describes the theory of the implementation
of the navigation entry Musi river channel in a research report and as a foundation
for solving the existing problems. The method used in this study is a qualitative
method that produces descriptive data in the form of written words of the object
under study. In this case the approach to collect data in the form of an object
through interviews with experienced resources, metode through literature, and the
data associated with the entry process if the motion Musi River channel on MT.
SULTAN MAHMUD BADARUDDIN II. Based on the results of research by the
author during a practice display at MT. SULTAN MAHMUD BADARUDDIN II,
there is a risk of the occurrence of such a problem finding aground, collision, and
other hazards on the ship motion exercise in Musi river channel. To the authors
wanted to find the cause of such a thing happened. To the authors will identify the
cause of it happening by using SHEL, this method consists of Software,
Hardware, Environment, and Live ware. Software is part of a non-physical
systems, including procedures and rules, Hardware is the equipment used
includes, Environment is the place where the activity takes place, and Live ware is
referring to every human component of the system in a relational aspects,
management, control and communication.
Having identified the causes of risk when ship motion exercise in Musi
River channel, can we then do a safety assessment to look for things that have a
risk that cannot be tolerated during the navigation process. With this assessment's
salvation, then each crew will be more careful in every action taken and make
every decision in motion exercise safely, effectively, and eficient. By knowing the
things that cannot be tolerated, it can be done mitagasi risk, which is to reduce or
even completely eliminate the risk that may occur during the process if the
motion. So the purpose of navigating a safe, fast, and right can be realized.

In the process of entering a narrow or river cruise line, it takes a special skill and more attention than sailing in the open seas. In writing this essay, the authors describe the implementation of the movement of the Musi River flow in which the implementation there are some problems regarding the implementation of the ship's motion and the responsibility of the Master in motion acting. So the goal of safe, fast, and precise navigation can be realized.

The main engine has a very important role to support the smoothness of the
voyage of the ship, one of the main support in the parent machine is a Bosch
pump, which serves to push the fuel into the injector for subsequent injection
injector fuel in to the combustion chamber, in this study the authors will discuss
about Bosch pump interference to injector performance.
The research method used is qualitative, in determining the priority of the
problem to be resolved, the research using an approach tool that is SWOT method
by giving the value 1-4. Sources of data that the authors use is the primary and
secondary data sources, while the method of withdrawal of conclusions that the
author uses is by comparing the actual situation with the results of the author's
thorough theory.
From the results of research conducted problems that occur is the occurrence
of interference on the Bosch pump which causes injector performance becomes
not maximal and this is due to blister plunger on the bosch pump that resulted in
plunger and barrel is not precise. The impact of blister plunger on the bosch pump
results in a decrease in plunger plaque on the barrel so that the resulting fuel
pressure becomes reduced. Strategies on the problem are the maintenance and
repair of the bosch pump, optimizing the fuel system to keep the fuel in a clean
and periodic maintenance to the bosch pump and other machinery so that the
engine and its components reach at least the economic life

Measurement of air contamination in different wards of public sector hospital, Sukkur
No full textThe aim of this study was to evaluate and assess the index of bacterial contamination in different wards of the Public Sector Hospital of Sukkur (Teaching) Pakistan; whether or not the air contamination was statistically different from the acceptable level using active and passive sampling. In addition to this main hypothesis, other investigations included: occurrence of the most common bacteria, whether or not the bacterial contamination in the wards was a persistent problem and identification of the effective antibiotics against the identified bacteria. The evidence sought based on the One Sample T test suggests that there is a (statistically) significant difference between the observed (higher) than the acceptance level (p0.01) and the result of antibiotic susceptibility test highlights sensitivity and resistance level of antibiotics for the identified bacteria

Tembung district of Medan Kota Medan. Junior Pahlawan Nasional in managing
the school is based on the work program as outlined in a working meeting annual
or consultations involving all components of the school as the school principal,
teachers / staff, parents, school committee and other parties related to such
supervisory and Education office of Medan. Based on the importance of the
implementation of the BOS program in assisting the implementation of the work
program at the Junior Pahlawan Nasional, the title which the author adopted in
this study is the evaluation of the School Operational Assistance Program Policy

dan tim dalam upaya mencapai kesuksesan organisasi secara
berkelanjutan dan Manajemen kinerja merupakan pengembangan
kompetensi kemampuan untuk mencapai standar yang ditetapkan dan
komitmen loyalitas dan tanggung jawab yang diperlukan dalam
melaksanakan tugas di antara karyawan yang didasarkan pada pembagian
pekerjaan untuk menghasilkan kinerja organisasi yang lebih baik. Definisi
itu menekankan pada pengembangan kompetensi, komitmen karyawan,
dan pembagian pekerjaan dalam upaya menghasilkan kinerja organisasi
yang lebih memuaskan . Hasil kerja organisasi diperoleh dari serangkaian
aktivitas yang dijalankan. Aktivitas tersebut dapat berupa pengelolaan
sumberdaya organisasi maupun proses pelaksanaan kerja yang diperlukan
untuk mencapai tujuan organisasi.
Untuk menjamin agar aktivitas tersebut dapat mencapai hasil
yang diharapkan, diperlukan upaya manajemen dalam pelaksanaan
aktivitasnya. Dengan demikian, hakikat manajemen kinerja adalah
bagaimana mengelola seluruh kegiatan organisasi untuk mencapai tujuan
organisasi yang telah ditetapkan sebelumnya. Zakat salah satu dari rukun
Islam yang membentuk Islam termasuk dalam ibadah maaliah
ijtima’iyyah memiliki posisi yang strategis untuk membangun
kesejahteraan perekonomian masyarakat. Fungsi zakat secara vertikal
adalah untuk beribadah kepada Allah dan wujud ibadah bersifat secara
horizontal Meningkatkan pemanfaatan zakat untuk menciptakan
kehidupan yang sejahtera untuk masyarakat serta mengurangi kemiskinan
Pada penelitian ini penulis menggunakan metode kualitatif yang
berbentuk deskriptif atau biasa disebut dengan penelitian yang dilakukan
secara langsung dengan fakta dan data-data yang sudah ada atau serta
langsung menganalisis dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana
keadaan masyarakat yang ada.
Di dalam penelitian ini penulis menggunakan metode kualitatif
yang berbentuk data deskriptif dengan jenis penelitian lapangan (field
research) dan metode pengumpulan data yaitu wawancara, observasi, dan
dokumentasi. Penelitian kualitatif merupakan suatu strategi inquiry yang
menekankan pencarian makna, pengertian, konsep, karakteristik, gejala,
simbol maupun deskripsi tentang suatu fenomena LAZNAS Dewan
Da’wah Lampung berperan penting dalam memajukan dakwah Islam di
Lampung melalui perencanaan matang, pengorganisasian yang efisien,
pelaksanaan program yang adaptif, serta pengawasan yang ketat. ABSTRACT
Performance Management is a strategic and integrated
approach or way through the development of individual and team
capabilities in an effort to achieve sustainable organizational success
and Performance management is the development of competencies the
ability to achieve set standards and the commitment of loyalty and
responsibility required in carrying out tasks among employees based
on the division of labor to produce better organizational performance.
The definition emphasizes the development of competencies, employee
commitment, and division of labor in an effort to produce more
satisfactory organizational performance. Organizational work results
are obtained from a series of activities carried out. These activities
can be in the form of managing organizational resources and the
process of carrying out the work needed to achieve organizational
goals.
To ensure that these activities can achieve the expected
results, management efforts are needed in the implementation of their
activities. Thus, the essence of performance management is how to
manage all organizational activities to achieve predetermined
organizational goals. Zakat, one of the pillars of Islam that make up
Islam, including maaliah ijtima'iyyah worship, has a strategic position
to build the economic welfare of the community. The function of zakat
vertically is to worship Allah and the form of worship is horizontally
increasing the welfare of the community, In this study the authors used
a qualitative method in the form of descriptive or commonly called
research conducted directly with existing facts and data or and
directly analyzed with the aim of knowing how the existing conditions
of society.
In this study, the author uses qualitative methods in the form
of descriptive data with the type of field research and data collection
methods, namely interviews, observations, and documentation.
Qualitative research is an inquiry strategy that emphasizes the search
for meaning, understanding, concepts, characteristics, symptoms,

MESSAGES FOR HUMANITY IN "BULA MALINO" (QUIET MOON) (A POEM BY KAIMUDDIN IDRUS MUHAMMADAL-BUTHUNI IBNU BADARUDDIN)
No full text"Bula Malino" (Quiet Moon) is a literary work found in Buton society and packaged in the form of poem. The manuscript is written in Wolio Language (Butonese main native language) using an Arabic-Wolio script modification, commonly called "buri Wolio" (Wolio writing). This article is yielded to report findings of a qualitative study which analyzes the humanity messages revealed in the poem using a content analysis and structuralism genetic approach. This approach follows some gradual procedures such as examining intrinsic elements of poem, reviewing social life of author, and giving a reflection to history and social background of Buton society. The findings show that the poem reveals messages and values for humanity in terms of sobriety or calm mind/heart and soul clarity for being prepared for death. The poem also contains advice addressed to readers. It was noted that the author of the poem was born in the late 18th century AD. At the age of 40, he was inaugurated the 29th sultan of Buton. At this century, Buton social condition was more than enthusiastic in learning science. This was marked by the establishment of a school named "Zaawiah"

Syafri Badaruddin and Abidin Pammu)The purpose of this research is to analyze social criticism by looking at American social conditions as reflected in novel Babbitt and the problems experienced by the characters in the story.This study uses a genetic structuralism approach that discusses the intrinsic and extrinsic elements of literary works. The data were analyzed by using descriptive qualitative methods. The source of this research is the novel Babbitt by Sinclair Lewis published by The New American Library of World Literature in New York in 1962.Based on the results of the analysis, the writer found criticisms submitted by the author on the social conditions at that time. The social conditions reflected in novel Babbitt include economic development, technological growth and lifestyle. The social criticism conveyed by the author in the story is about a culture of materialism that makes everyone only oriented towards money. Another criticism conveyed by the author is about moral degradation by committing law-breaking action, hypocrisy, corruption, and collusion. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah novel Babbitt karya Sinclair Lewis yang diterbitkan oleh The New American Library of World Literature di New York tahun 1962. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, penulis telah menemukan kritik yang disampaikan pengarang terhadap kondisi soasial pada saat itu. Kondisi sosial yang tercermin dalam novel Babbitt meliputi pertumbuhan ekonomi, teknologi, dan gaya hidup. Kritik sosial yang disampaikan pengarang dalam cerita yaitu tentang budaya materialisme yang membuat setiap orang hanya berorientasi kepada uang. Kritik lain yang disampaikan adalah tentang degradasi moral dengan melakukan tindakan melanggar hukum, hipokrit, korupsi, dan kolusi. Dan yang terakhir, kritik yang disampaikan adalah tentang komersialisasi yang menyentuh ranah agama dan standarisasi hidup kelas menengah yang hidup berdasarkan standar sosial masyarakat dan kesesuaian sehingga menjadikan mereka kehilangan kebebasan, jati diri dan kebahagiaan.
