Aplicação da teoria de Peeter Torop à tradução da obra de literatura infantil Max Und Moritz, de Wilhelm Busch, do alemão ao português do Brasil
No full textDissertação (mestrado) - Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, Centro de Comunicação e Expressão, Programa de Pós-graduação em Estudos da Tradução, Florianópolis, 2009presente dissertação se ocupa da obra da literatura clássica alemã do século XIX Max und Moritz: eine Bubengeschichte in sieben Streichen, de Wilhelm Busch, a qual foi traduzida para o português unicamente em 1901, e por isso requer uma nova versão. Para conduzir a tradução, foi selecionado o teórico da tradução Peeter Torop, cujos estudos contemplam aspectos descritivos da tradução. Ele classifica o exercício da tradução em oito categorias possíveis. Essas oito categorias são aplicadas aqui em um trecho de Max und Moritz, resultando em oito exemplos de tradução. Considerando o público alvo escolhido, duas dessas categorias propostas por Torop são escolhidas, e são elas que ditam as diretrizes usadas na tradução completa do texto. Para encerrar, são apresentados os comentários das escolhas do tradutor, as quais estão baseadas em aspectos descritivos, como encontrado em Fernandes, Shavit, OConnell, por exemplo, e prescritivos, como demonstrado em Klinberg, Páscua-Febles e demais autores

No full textVarious materials pertaining to Moritz Loevinson (1820-1887) collected and printed by the Moritz Loevinson family foundation in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of his death. It contains several texts by Moritz Loevinson himself: extracts from letters to his younger brother Siegfried (1829-1907) written during the early 1840s, two articles for the "Zeitung fuer die elegante Welt" from 1842, one of them dealing with anti-Semitism in German society particularly in the Prussian army, and several poems.Furthermore, short memoirs about Moritz Loevinson are included written by his nephews and niece Martin Loevinson (1859-1930), Emil Loevinson (1860- ), Johanna Meyer née Loevinson (1874-1958), and Heinrich Hersch (1861-1938).Attached is an extract from Moritz Loevinson's will and statutes of the family foundation. Several photographs and an obituary of Moritz Levinson are added.Moritz Loevinson was born in Danzig in 1820. He worked as a physician in Berlin. Despite anti-Semitic resentments and resistance Loevinson served for several years in the Prussian army. No full textWilhelm Busch é autor de “Max und Moritz”, obra publicada em 1865, que conta a história de dois meninos que aprontam traquinagens contra pessoas de uma vila sem nome. Um trabalho dessa envergadura e influência merece atenção e tradução constante. Neste trabalho, pretendeu-se aplicar as teorias descritivas de Peeter Torop a um extrato de texto, com os devidos comentários das escolhas tradutórias. De início tem-se a apresentação do autor do texto. Em seguida, uma pequena abordagem das teorias de Torop. No terceiro momento, o texto original e a sua tradução. Por fim, os comentários das escolhas tradutórias que demandaram mais cuidados. O trabalho em si mostra que é possível aplicar a teoria referida a um texto infantil em versos, tal como apregoado por Torop
Decoherence of Gravitational Wave Oscillations in Bigravity
No full textFollowing up on our recent study, we consider the regime of graviton masses and gravitational wave propagation distances at which decoherence of the wave packets plays a major role for phenomenology. This regime is of particular interest, as it can lead to very striking phenomena of echo events in the gravitational waves coming from coalescence events. The power of the experimental search in this case lies in the fact that it becomes sensitive to a large range of graviton masses, while not relying on a specific production mechanism. We are thus able to place new relevant limits on the parameter space of the graviton mixing angle
Gravitational Wave Oscillations in Bigravity
No full textWe derive consistent equations for gravitational wave oscillations in bigravity. In this framework a second dynamical tensor field is introduced in addition to general relativity and coupled such that one massless and one massive linear combination arise. Only one of the two tensors is the physical metric coupling to matter, and thus the basis in which gravitational waves propagate is different from the basis where the wave is produced and detected. Therefore, one should expect-in analogy to neutrino oscillations-to observe an oscillatory behavior. We show for the first time how this behavior arises explicitly, discuss phenomenological implications, and present new limits on the graviton parameter space in bigravity

No full textThe aim of this work was to analyse the conditions for the use of the German literary text called "Max und Moritz", written by Wilhelm Busch, in German lessons at the lower-secondary and secondary school. The analysis of curricular documents has shown the compatibility of the literary text with the requirements set out in these documents. Based on the requirements that arise from the curricular documents, worksheets at language levels A1, A2 and B1 were created. The worksheets are an example of the didactic elaboration of a Czech-German literary text, which can be used in combination with illustrations as an innovative component of language teaching
