No full textThis text is the result of the activities developed in the “Clube das Manas Tefé” extension project, carried out during the years 2021-2022 at the State University of Amazonas, Center for Higher Studies of Tefé. The Clube das Manas in Tefé. State of Amazonas, emerged as an offshoot of the successful experience of the Clube da Associação do Instituto Manas, which is located in Manaus. Its participants meet in public libraries in Manaus with the purpose of contributing to women\u27s emancipation, the promotion and defense of women\u27s rights and the fight against gender violence against trans women. The present work aims to expose reflections woven by the participants throughout the club\u27s activities in 2021, regarding the socialization of knowledge produced by women researchers, to face the various actions of the social system commonly known as patriarchy. In the face of this, this work aims to build and share reflections on education experiences with women in the Covid-19 pandemic. This article consists of a qualitative approach research. Este texto é resultado das atividades desenvolvidas no projeto de extensão “Clube das Manas Tefé”, executado durante os anos de 2021-2022 na Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, Centro de Estudos Superiores de Tefé. O Clube das Manas em Tefé surgiu como ramificação da experiência bem-sucedida do Clube da Associação do Instituto Manas, que se localiza em Manaus. Suas participantes se reúnem em bibliotecas públicas da cidade com o propósito de contribuir para a emancipação feminina, a promoção e a defesa dos direitos das mulheres e no combate à violência de gênero contra mulheres trans. O presente trabalho visa expor reflexões tecidas pelas participantes ao longo das atividades do Clube em 2021, no que se refere à socialização de conhecimentos produzidos por mulheres pesquisadoras, para o enfrentamento das diversas ações do sistema social comumente conhecido como patriarcado. Diante disso, este trabalho objetiva construir e compartilhar reflexões sobre experiências de educação com mulheres na pandemia de Covid-19. Este artigo consiste em uma pesquisa de abordagem qualitativa. No que se refere à metodologia do encontro, utilizamos o modelo de roda de conversa, por meio da ferramenta WhatsApp, pois entendemos o diálogo como um momento único da partilha do conhecimento

No full textO clube das manas em Tefé, no estado do Amazonas, é um clube de leitura o qual tem como objetivo promover o empoderamento das meninas e mulheres utilizando a leitura. Na sociedade atual, é de grande importância dialogar sobre os diversos problemas enfrentados por jovens meninas e mulheres. Isso pressupõe que as bibliotecas e bibliotecários têm a grande responsabilidade de agirem como transformadores sociais na busca da equidade, justiça e igualdade de gêneros. É o que busca o clube das manas por meio da leitura de livros que abordam temáticas do universo feminino e encontros, que são rodadas de conversas, para se falar sobre. Espera-se que esse projeto alcance mais pessoas para as rodadas de conversa, que fortaleça as relações entre mulheres e suas identidades, que incentive e fomente o clube das manas como um clube de leitura permanente e sensibilize homens acerca das problemáticas vivenciadas por mulheres

Ethnomedicinal plants of Manas National Park, Assam, Northeast India

In the study, 57 medicinal plant species belonging
to 45 genera and 36 families have been recorded. Out of these, the most
important species found were Aesculus
punduana, Boerhavia diffusa, Dillenia
pentagyna, Holarrhena antidysenterica, Justicia adhatoda, Oroxylum
indicum, Rauvolfia densiflora, Rauvolfia serpentina, Terminalia
arjuna, Terminalia belerica and
Terminalia chebula. The natural distribution of these medicinal plant
species in 3 different ranges of Manas
National Park were marked
with the help of GPS. The study revealed that the documented medicinal plants
have potential curative properties with immense market value. Moreover, the
plants can be grown commercially by the villagers of the fringes area of Manas National
Park through improved agro-technique for the
betterment of livelihood.

Mapeando as autoidentificações, a construção das identidades e as subjetividades das “manas trans” da cidade de Maputo
No full textO objetivo deste artigo é analisar os processos de descoberta da sexualidade e identidade de gênero das “manas trans” destacando como e em que contextos aprenderam as categorias de identificação sexual e de gênero e também entender as suas subjetividades. Mostro que alguns sujeitos aprenderam a nomear suas identidades sexuais e de gêneros ao longo do tempo de acordo com as fontes de informação que tiveram disponíveis, tais como através da rotulação pela sociedade, mídia e pesquisando na internet. Outros aprenderam suas identificações quando passaram a frequentar uma organização LGBT que busca institucionalizar os termos, os conceitos e as expressões que promovem as melhores formas de falar sobre identidade sexual e de gênero. Para nomear as minhas interlocutoras que fizeram transição de gênero de masculino para feminino, cunhei a expressão “manas trans”. Porém, argumento que as “manas trans” compartilham um gênero com as mulheres, constroem seus corpos, identidades e suas vidas na direção do que consideram femininos e articulam signos femininos dispostos na cultura moçambicana, mas reconhecem que não são biologicamente iguais às “mulheres”. A pesquisa é de carácter etnográfico e baseou-se na observação participante e conversas informais.The objective of this article is to analyze the processes of discovering sexuality and gender identity of “manas trans”, highlighting how and in which contexts they learned the categories of sexual and gender identification and also to understand their subjectivities. I show that some of the subjects learned to name their sexual identities and gender over time according to the sources of information that were available such as by labeling by society, media, and searching on the internet. Others learned their identifications when they joined an LGBT organization that seeks to institutionalize the terms, concepts, and expressions that promote the best ways to talk about sexual and gender identity. To name my interlocutors who transitioned from male to female, I coined the expression “manas trans”. However, I argue that " manas trans " share a gender with women, build their bodies, identities, and their lives in the direction of what they consider feminine and articulate feminine signs arranged in Mozambican culture, but recognize that they are not biologically equal to "women". CLUBE DAS MANAS COARI/AMAZONAS: UMA EXPERIÊNCIA DE FORMAÇÃO DE PROFESSORAS PARA ALÉM DOS MUROS DA UNIVERSIDADE
No full textO Projeto de Extensão “Clube das Manas Coari”, executado pelas alunas de Pedagogia da Universidade do Estado do Amazonas – UEA, foi criado objetivando promover leituras e debates acerca do feminismo e cidadania. Para além da universidade, buscou-se alcançar a comunidade local, promovendo entre os articipantes autoestima e empoderamento, através do uso da literatura, cinema e reflexão. Tais recursos visam estimular a liberdade de expressão das mulheres e sensibilizar os homens sobre o universo feminino e suas problemáticas, disseminando o conhecimento e fortalecendo a igualdade de gênero. A metodologia adotada tem enfoque qualitativo na transcrição de relatos de experiências das extensionistas e participantes, além da observação das participantes durante as atividades, de periodicidade quinzenal, realizadas ao longo dos 12 meses do projeto. Os resultados obtidos e a frequência dos participantes superaram as expectativas, fato que possibilitou a coesão do grupo, com objetivos comuns na promoção da cidadania e inserção na sociedade civil organizada do município. Os frutos do Clube das Manas Coari estão florescendo, e atualmente vinte acadêmicos dão continuidade ao projeto, que se encontra na segunda edição, uscando fortalecimento e reconhecimento na comunidade coariense

Feira das Manas: economia criativa, empoderamento e sustentabilidade em Palmas/TO
No full textIn Palmas/TO, a group of artisans structured themselves under the auspices of female
empowerment and creative economy and founded a traveling fair. The "Feira das Manas",
organized through social networking movements online, presents itself as a sustainable model
for generating employment and income for women through creative economy. The perspective
developed in the analysis is supported by the theoretical framework of Social Psychology,
specifically the Theory of Social Representations, as analyzed in this document. The theoretical
framework seeks to establish the city of Palmas as a stage for the group's development, as well
as to address the main aspects of the units and categories that support the analysis. The aim is to
provide theoretical support for discussions based on data collection. This manuscript also retraces
the methodological path followed for the development of the research and the integration of
different data collection and analysis instruments. Through netnography and interviews, the
formation of the group, its journey during the period of social distancing prompted by the
COVID-19 pandemic, and the strategies for the fair's return to the urban environment are
recounted. The aim is to relate the fair locations and the imaginary structures present in the group,
as well as the construction of an identity performance based on sustainability, female
empowerment, and creative economy, as significant social representations for the group.Em Palmas/TO, um grupo de artesãs estruturou-se sobre as égides do empoderamento feminino
e da economia criativa e fundou uma feira itinerante. A Feira das Manas, organizada a partir de
movimentos de sociabilidade em uma rede social online, se apresenta enquanto modelo
sustentável para gerar, por meio da economia criativa, trabalho e renda para mulheres. A
perspectiva desenvolvida na análise conta com o subsídio teórico da Psicologia Social, mais
especificamente da Teoria das Representações Sociais, analisada neste documento. O referencial
teórico busca estabelecer a cidade de Palmas como palco para o desenvolvimento do grupo, além
de abordar os principais aspectos das unidades e das categorias que subsidiam a análise. Busca-
se oferecer aparato teórico para as discussões realizadas a partir do levantamento de dados. Este
manuscrito também resgata o percurso metodológico seguido para desenvolvimento da pesquisa
e integração de diferentes instrumentos de coleta e análise de dados. Resgata-se, por meio da
netnografia e de entrevistas, a formação do grupo, sua jornada durante o período de afastamento
social, motivado pela pandemia de COVID-19, e as estratégias de retorno da feira para o
ambiente urbano. Busca-se relacionar os locais de feira e as estruturas imaginárias presentes no
grupo, bem como a construção de uma performance identitária a partir da sustentabilidade, do
empoderamento feminino e da economia criativa, enquanto representações sociais significativas
para o grupo
