Get PDFDalam al-Qur'an terdapat banyak cerita (kisah) yang terjadi jauh sebelum al-Qur'an diturunkan seperti kisah tentang rasul-rasul dan ummatnya sejak Adam hingga Muhammad. Para mufassir klasik seperti Tabari sering menceritakan secara detail kisah-kisah tersebut yang berdasarkan tidak hanya pada al-Qur'an, tapi lebih pada riwayat-riwayat. Masing-masing kisah sering mempunyai beberapa versi lengkap sebagaimana kisah-kisah Israiliyat. Berbeda dengan mufassir klasik, para mufassir modem cenderung tidak menceritakan secara lengkap cerita-cerita tersebut. Mereka mencoba untuk memahami bagian-bagian penting dari kisah-kisah tersebut dan menginterpretasikan nilai-nilai yang terkandung di dalam kisah tersebut dalam konteks modern ini. tafsir klasiknya. Berfikir global tidak hanya partikular, yang berfokus
pada periode dan fase tertentu. Tapi memang itulah kelemahan
kita. Menurut Al Makin, diperlukan cara berfikir dengan visi jauh
seperti elang terbang melihat pulau dari jarak jauh. Tafsir ini menarik.
Fikih peradaban menjadi tanggung jawab semua pemimpin umat dan
harus terus diejawantahkan. Hal tersebut diperlukan untuk mencari
solusi bagi berbagai persoalan keagamaa

Subjek penelitian ini yakni mahasiswa program studi S1 Ilmu komputer Universitas Al Asyariah Mandar sudah menerap kan program informasi akademik berbasis website telah cukup lama, akan tetapi hal makin berkembangnya sebuah perguruan tinggi, bertambahnya Mahasiswa & ilmu pengetahuan yang makin berkembang, mau tidak mau perguruan tinggi mesti meningkatkan layanan, juga kualitas sumber daya manusia yang ada di tiap Jurusan. Setiap Jurusan di Perguruan tinggi yang bagus tentunya harus mempuyai sistem informasi akademis yang cukup bahkan lebih bagi Dosen, Mahasiswa, dan bagian Administrasi Akademik pada Jurusan
Visual cortex activation predicts visual preference: Evidence from Britain and Egypt
Get PDFThe term 'Perceptual goodness' refers to the strength, obviousness or salience of a visual configuration. Recent work has found strong agreement between theoretical, neural and behavioural measures of perceptual goodness across a wide range of different symmetrical visual patterns (Makin et al. 2016). We used these pattern types again to explore the relationship between perceptual goodness and aesthetic preference. A group of 50 UK participants rated the patterns on a 0-100 scale. Preference ratings positively correlated with four overlapping measures of perceptual goodness. We then replicated this finding in Egypt, suggesting that our results reflect universal aspects of human preference. The third experiment provided consistent results with a different stimulus set. We conclude that symmetry is an aesthetic primitive that is attractive because of the way it is processed by the visual system

Get PDFResearch into the neural basis of symmetry perception has intensified in the last two decades, however the functional role of neural oscillations remains unclear. In previous work (Makin et al., 2014, Wright et al., 2015) examined occipital alpha Event-Related Desynchronization (alpha ERD). It was concluded that alpha ERD is right lateralized during active regularity discrimination, but not during a secondary task. Furthermore, alpha ERD was unaffected by stimulus properties, such as the type of regularity. These conclusions are refuted by new time-frequency analysis on an EEG data set first introduced by Makin et al. (2020). We compared alpha ERD across five tasks. First, we found that right lateralization of alpha ERD was evident in all tasks, not just active regularity discrimination. This was caused by hemispheric differences in alpha power during pre-stimulus baseline (left < right), which equalized after stimulus onset (left = right). Second, we found that Alpha ERD increased with the proportion of symmetric elements in the image (PSYMM). Sensitivity to PSYMM was stronger on the right. These findings suggest known extrastriate symmetry activations are accompanied by reduced alpha power
