Increased incidence trend of low-grade and high-grade neuroendocrine neoplasms
Purpose: The incidence of neuroendocrine neoplasms is increasing. This work aimed at: (i) establishing worldwide incidence trend of low-grade neuroendocrine neoplasms; (ii) defining the incidence and temporal trend of high-grade neuroendocrine neoplasms in USA utilizing the Surveillance Epidemiology and End Results database; (iii) comparing trends for low-grade vs. high-grade neuroendocrine neoplasms. Methods: We conducted a literature search on MEDLINE and Scopus databases and incidence trends were plotted for 1973-2012. The Surveillance Epidemiology and End Results database was used to identify incidence rates in USA for 1973-2012. Incidence rates were stratified according to histological grade, gender and ethnicity. Trends were summarized as annual percent change and corresponding 95% confidence interval. Results: 11 studies were identified involving 72,048 cases; neuroendocrine neoplasm incidence rates increased over time in all countries for all sites, except for appendix. In Surveillance Epidemiology and End Results low-grade neuroendocrine neoplasm incidence rate increased from 1.09 in 1973 to 3.51 per 100,000 in 2012. During this interval, high-grade neuroendocrine neoplasm incidence rate increased from 2.54 to 10.52 per 100,000. African Americans had the highest rates of digestive neuroendocrine neoplasms with male prevalence in high-grade. Conclusions: Our data indicate an increase in the incidence of neuroendocrine neoplasms as a worldwide phenomenon, affecting most anatomical sites and involving both low-grade and high-grade neoplasms. © 2017, The Author(s)

Eastern Sumbanese Bird Classification and Nomenclature: Additions and Revisions
Expanding on previously published research into folk classification of birds in the eastern part of the Indonesian island of Sumba, this article reports new information on bird categories and classification recorded by the author in 2015. New folk taxa are described and identified and scientific identifications for previously reported taxa are added or revised. Information on local bird classification from the Kambera region is compared with data recorded in the 1970s in the district of Rindi, and these are shown to reveal only minor differences. Employing Berlin’s well-known analytical scheme, the main features of the taxonomy are summarized and totals are enumerated for monotypic and polytypic folk-generics and both named and unnamed (covert) folk-intermediates. Additional information is provided concerning symbolic uses of bird categories, including bird names used as place names and local beliefs about nightjars (Camprimulgus spp.) which correspond to ideas encountered on the ethnozoologically better-known neighboring island of Flores.</p

Museum Catalogue Collaboration (Budapest, Hungary, 2017)
The Catalogue of Wooden Figures is the first of a series of online catalogues aimed at presenting the corpus of wooden, stone and bronze sculptures kept in the Collection of Egyptian Antiquities of the Museum of Fine Arts, Budapest. Although scholarly research has been continuously carried out on the highlights of the collection since the 1940s, and results have been regularly published in the Bulletin du Musée Hongrois des Beaux-Arts, and recently in Egyptian Artefacts of the Museum of Fine Arts Budapest (2013), a comprehensive study has not yet been completed on the subject. Along with launching this online series, the Department of Egyptian Antiquities intends to create an open-access, easily searchable database of the catalogued object groups. In addition to the basic data of the objects (inv. no., photo, object name, measures, material and condition, description, classification/function, date, origin, provenance, bibliography, analogies/parallels), a short description (using keywords) and the full bibliography of the objects are also included. Furthermore, the objects are classified according to their most probable original context in which they had been used in Antiquity (Classification/Function). Each catalogue item is supplemented with a list of analogies/parallels found in printed publications or on various websites of Egyptian collections. The collaboration with Dr. Éva Liptay, Chief Curator and author of the catalogue, started in 2012 and in particular I studied the collection of Osiris and Ptah-Sokar-Osiris figures, sharing the outcomes with the Museum.https://orcid.org/0000-0002-8183-8483http://egyptian.szepmuveszeti.hu/http://egyptian.szepmuveszeti.hu/about-the-cataloguehttp://calipsoproject.net" target="_blank">CALiPSO Project</div

Kata Kunci : 3D watermarking, Triangular meshes, Moment-preserving principle, Blind 3D watermarkingABSTRACT: 3D Digital watermarking is a method to hide some confidential information or messages that are integrated with the 3D object with the purpose to protect a copyrighted works against misuse or illegal use (piracy) [11]. Such objects may include images, sound, video, or writing. Watermarking is used in various applications, such as ownership evidence, fingerprinting, content labeling and protection [12]. Type watermarking used in this final project is a blind watermarking. Blind watermarking is the process of verifying the watermark does not require the original media or a host that has not been watermarked. In this final project simulated blind watermarking technique on 3D digital objects using the Moment-Preserving Principle. This method classifies the edge vertices used as a reference in embedding and extraction. The watermark’s message is a name of the author \u27rindimaurenviolita\u27 which has been converted into ASCII binary unsign. The result is a blind watermarking technique using Moment-Preserving Principle. Moment Preserving Principle is an excellent method to protect the quality of watermarked 3D objects with the best MSE 1.53831e-07, the best VER 0.000519357, the largest SNR 72.4334, 0.057342 the fastest computing time and 4,7 for MOS. Then the message embedded resistance (robustness) is better than giving the attacks such as rotation, rescaling, and translation. But it is not resistant to cropping and noise attacks. Because the watermark message are cropping attacks that go missing along with the missing vertex. On the offensive noise, a watermark message is damaged due to the addition of noise.Keyword: 3D watermarking, Triangular meshes, Moment-preserving principle, Blind 3D watermarkin
