Penerapan Marketing Mix sebagai Strategi Pemasaran Jasa Pendidikan di MAN 1 Yogyakarta
This study examines the strategies implemented for education marketing services in Islamic education institutions. This research is motivated by the efforts to develop the quality of Islamic education institutions, so that they could compete with other organizations. Education marketing services are intended to create a conducive and stable marketing condition, so as to have a positive impact on the parties involved in the marketing process (both the school as the producer and the community as consumers). Based on the results of the study, which was conducted at the Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 1 Yogyakarta, it was found that Islamic education institutions also implement various strategies in marketing their educational services. The marketing strategy in MAN 1 Yogyakarta is carried out through the application of marketing mix theory (products, prices, places, promotions, human resources, physical evidence, and processes) by utilizing its superior competences as an Islamic educational institution that tends to have moderate ideology, so it can target Muslim communities both from traditional and modern backgrounds as the marketing segment of their educational services
KONSEP PENDIDIKAN KELUARGA DALAM PERSPEKTIF AL-QURAN DAN HADIS
Abstract
The role of the family in the educational process, is an inevitable necessity, this is because the important role of the family as the environment of origin, and also the first environment for humans. This shows, the existence of the family is very important, in supporting the achievement of educational goals. Facts and reality in the field show that, the role of the family today, has not shown its maximum effort as the main educational institution, so that there is a practice of violence in the family, both against wife and child, which is certainly very contradictory basic principles in the process of education. The presence of this article, intended to explore the important role of the family, in the educational process based on the perspective of the Qur\u27an and Hadith. This exploration is intended to gain a fundamental essence in the process of family education, so as to provide a new perspective on the perceiving of the family as an important part of the humanizing process.
Abstrak
Peran keluarga dalam proses pendidikan, adalah suatu keniscayaan yang tidak dapat dielakkan, hal ini sebabkan peran penting keluarga sebagai lingkungan asal, dan sekaligus lingkungan pertama bagi manusia. Hal ini menunjukkan, eksistensi keluarga yang sangat penting artinya, dalam menunjang ketercapain tujuan pendidikan. Berbagai fakta dan realitas dilapangan menunjukkan bahwa, peran keluarga dewasa ini, belum menampilkan usaha maksimalnya sebagai lembaga pendidikan utama, sehingga terjadilah praktik kekerasan dalam keluarga, baik terhadap istri maupun anak, yang tentunya sangat bertentangan prinsip-prinsip dasar dalam proses pendidikan. Hadirnya artikel ini, dimaksudkan untuk mengekslorasi peran penting keluarga, dalam proses pendidikan berdasarkan sudut pandang Al-Qur’an dan Hadis. Pengeksplorasian ini, dimaksudkan untuk mendapatkan esensi mendasar dalam proses pendidikan keluarga, sehingga dapat memberikan sudut pandang baru dalam mempresepsikan keluarga, sebagai bagian penting dari proses pemanusian manusia (humanisasi)
Budaya Organisasi Lembaga Pendidikan Islam dalam Epistemologi Kuntowijoyo
The formation of organizational culture in Islamic educational institutions is an important element that affects the performance and success of the institution. This study aims to analyse the process of forming organizational culture in Islamic educational institutions through the perspective of the epistemological structure of Kuntowijoyo culture. The method used in this study is a literature study, by examining various relevant literature related to organizational culture, Islamic education, and Kuntowijoyo\u27s thought. The epistemological structure of the Kuntowijoyo culture includes three main components: objectification, subjectification, and intersubjectivities. The results of the study show that Islamic values are objectified in the vision, mission, and policies of Islamic educational institutions; subjectifies through the internalization of these values by individuals in daily practice; and intersubjective through social interaction within the institution. The consistent application of Islamic values in all aspects of the organization has proven to be important in shaping and maintaining a strong organizational culture that is aligned with Islamic principles, which ultimately improves the quality of education and the formation of students\u27 character
PARADIGMA INTEGRASI-INTERKONEKSI DI TENGAH KOMPLEKSITAS PROBLEM KEMANUSIAAN
This article tries to describe the concept of integration-interconnection of science as a meeting point to integrating the mind and revelation. A concept which is positioning human mind and revelation as entities that are not dichotomous, but as relationships that complement to each other, as well as an effort to answer the complexity of the human problems which require a comprehensive and holistic process of settlement. Through critical-analytical studies of the concepts of integration-interconnection of science from various experts, the results of the study show that the term, forms, and implementations of this scientific paradigm are very diverse. Integration is not a single paradigm concept that is suitable in various life contexts, but a dynamic concept. The context in which human a being live will determine the patterns and forms of integration. Space and time, the types of problems and needs, and human creativity in responding the various life problems greatly determine the format and form of this paradigm
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. STUDI RELASI STRICT PARENTING PADA ANAK USIA DINI TERHADAP POLA PERKEMBANGAN KOMPETENSI SOSIAL ANAK
Strict parenting is a cultural parenting style that is trending to be used in family education today as a consequence of the cultural heritage of family education in the classical era which was inherited and handed down pedagogically to today\u27s parents. Strict parenting is seen as contributing to the process of forming children\u27s social competence. This research uses descriptive qualitative research with a library study approach by collecting library materials that are deemed relevant and in accordance with the themes in this research. The results of this research show that the application of strict parenting carried out by parents towards children causes children to become closed, not/less able to communicate, and not skilled at adapting to new social environments. This is because children are not involved/not involved in making important decisions related to choices in their lives, this has implications for children failing to find the meaningfulness and value of the activities they do and/or do. Children do not have a sense of responsibility for the activities they do, because from the start they feel they are not involved in the decision-making process for the activities they do. Strict parenting produces children as objects and not as subjects who grow and develop in finding their identity.
Keywords: Strict Parenting, Social Competence, Children.Strict parenting merupakan budaya pola asuh yang tren digunakan dalam pendidikan keluarga dewasa ini sebagai konsekwensi dari warisan budaya pendidikan keluarga pada masa klasik yang diwariskan dan diturunkan secara pedagogik kepada orang tua saat ini. Strict parenting dipandang memiliki kontribusi terhadap proses pembentukan kompetensi sosial anak. Penelitian ini mengunakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka dengan cara mengumpulkan bahan-bahan pustaka yang dipandang relevan dan memiliki kesesuain dengan tema dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan strict parenting yang dilakukan oleh orang tua kepada anak menyebabkan anak menjadi tertutup, tidak/kurang cakap berkomunikasi, tidak terampil berdaptasi dengan lingkungan sosial yang baru. Hal ini disebabkan karena anak tidak terlibat/tidak dilibatkan dalam pembuatan keputusan penting yang berkaitan dengan pilihan dalam hidupnya, hal ini berimplikasi pada anak gagal menemukan kebermaknaan dan kebernilaian aktivitas yang dilakukan dan/atau dikerjakannya. Anak tidak memiliki rasa bertangung jawab terhadap aktivitas yang dikerjakannya, karena sejak awal dirinya merasa tidak terlibat dalam proses pembuatan keputusan pada aktivitas yang dijalaninya. Strict parenting menghasilkan anak sebagai objek dan bukan sebagai subjek yang bertumbuh dan berkembang dalam menemukan identitas dirinya.

Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more
