Current organisational and creative transformations of Ukrainian circus arts
All circuses in the Soviet Union were united in a single state system which was stable and self-sufficient. When Ukraine gained its independence in 1991, that organisational and creative system lost its balanced structure. Current transformations of the circus system are the subject of this research, which is based on archives from the 1980s to the present day. In this article the author explores external and internal factors of change and their influence on the circus system. Artistic human capital is proved to be of primary importance for the circus. Mistakes in management have become one of the key reasons why the Ukrainian circus has been declining for the last three decades. The rejection of historically-formed national principles of the circus industry, such as the artistic conveyor system, the autonomy of the circus system, and its centralised management, have also contributed to the decline of the circus. This article analyses the destructive influence of the institution of private entrepreneurs on the artistic conveyor, which was the basis of the Soviet state circus system. The author proposes that analysis of the causes of decline can be the basis for further developing organisational and creative approaches to overcome the crisis in the Ukrainian circus industry and form an effective model for its functioning. Vladyslav Kashuba is a graduate of the Kyiv Municipal Academy of Circus and Variety Arts and holds a MA in stage directing for variety, theatre, and circus arts. Еміграційна травма війни в літературній візії Владислава Івченка (Emigrational trauma of war in Vladyslav Ivchenko’s literary vision)
Війна Росії проти України впродовж десяти років сформувала багатоаспектний культурний дискурс, в якому література зайняла чільне місце. Новий її етап, що очався в лютому 2022 р., не лише дав підстави для інтенсивнішої мистецької реакції на пережитий досвід українців, а й відкрив перспективи нових тем і художніх методів їх інтерпретації. Проблемною основою таких текстів цілком природно стала травма у її індивідуальному та національному вимірах. Книжка Владислава Івченка Після 24-го» увиразнює оповнює дискурс культурної рецепції війни, по гарячих слідах описуючи її ронтовий і тиловий досвіди. Новим проблемним аспектом у ній є травма вимушеної еміграції, спровокована повномасштабним російським вторгненням 24 лютого 2022 р.
(The Russian war against Ukraine has been going on for 10 years and continues to influence the national culture in a very distinctive way. Over the past decade, this traumatic event has created a peculiar cultural discourse where literature has taken a special place. Its new stage, which began in February 2022, not only gave rise to an even more intense artistic reaction to the lived experience of Ukrainians, but also opened up prospects for new literary themes and methods of their interpretation. Trauma in its individual and national dimensions naturally became the central issue in such texts. Vladyslav Ivchenko’s book “After the 24th” clarifies and complements the discourse of the cultural reception of the war, describing its front and rear experiences in real time. The trauma of forced emigration, triggered by the full-scale Russian invasion on February 24, 2022, is a new problematic aspect that requires special attention. The author of the paper analyzes a new dimension of the emigrational trauma, related to the war experiences of Ukrainian refugees. Through the fates of three individual women, Vladyslav Ivchenko demonstrates the prospects of Ukrainian national trauma, which includes the loss of homes, loved ones, and, most importantly, the belief that the world and life could return to what they were before February 24, 2022. The trauma of forced emigration continuously offers new perspectives for understanding the behavior of a national culture during the war, particularly in the context of creating wartime literature, which is an effective component of the trauma recovery process. Literature plays an important role in this context, and Ivchenko’s book exemplifies this role most effectively.
Exotic superconductivity in quantum materials

D., Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Department of Physics, 2019Cataloged from the official PDF of thesis.Includes bibliographical references (pages 345-342).The theory of superconductivity developed by Bardeen, Cooper, and Schrieffer has proven to correctly describe a wide class of metals, where the effective attraction between electrons is mediated by phonons. Despite huge success, this theory fails to explain certain types of superconductivity, which includes but not limited to topological superconductivity and superconductivity in systems with low carrier density. We study new exciting properties of these materials and discuss possible microscopic mechanisms for exotic superconductivity. In Part I of this thesis, we explore the properties of two-component superconductors with strong spin-orbit coupling. Our study is motivated by the experiments on a topological superconductor candidate material, Bi2Se3 doped with Cu, Sn, or Nb atoms. Generally, superconductivity in such systems comes in two flavors: nematic, which breaks rotational symmetry of the crystal, and time-reversal breaking chiral.We study the relative energetics and different features specific to each of these flavors. We find that, in three dimensions, the nematic superconductors generically possess full pairing gap on the Fermi surface, thus representing a solid-state realization of a time-reversal-invariant topological superconductor. On the contrary, chiral superconductors host non-degenerate point nodes on the Fermi surface and represent the superconducting analog of topological Weyl semimetals; the low-energy excitations in these materials are itinerant Majorana fermions. In Part II, we suggest possible microscopic mechanisms for unconventional superconductivity. We show that strong fluctuations of the inversion-breaking order parameter induce instability in an odd-parity superconducting channel, suggesting a route towards topological superconductivity. Using bosonization, we generalize this result to one-dimensional systems.We apply our findings to study superconductivity in three-dimensional Dirac materials with extremely low density of carriers. Finally, we discuss the mechanism for nematic superconductivity from density wave fluctuations in two-dimensional systems, with possible application to twisted bilayer graphene. To evaluate the correlation between results Materials and methods: In this study participated 20 adolescents: 20 control subjects and 20 subjects with one or two knees patelofemoral knee pain syndrome. Research was carried out at Children‘s Hospital, Affiliate of Vilnius University Hospital Santariskiu Klinikos from October 2015 till March 2016. In the study these research methods were used: pain evaluation – by the visual analog pain intensity scale (VAS), balance assessment – by „flamingo“ test, physical activity questionnaire for adolescent , evaluation of proprioception , knee extensor and flexor muscle strength and dinamic endurance - with Biodex System 4 isokinetic dynamometer . Data analysis was performed using statistical analysis system „R“ and „Microsoft Excel 2007“ Results: The assessment of knee joint proprioception showed statistically significant worse results in subjects with patelofemoral pain syndrome in both legs in knee joint proprioception testing with 30 angle and in right knee joint at 45 (pα). Examination of both knee joints proprioception at 60 did not show any statisticaly significant difference (p>α). The assessment of balance, physical activity, knee flexor and extensor muscle strength and dynamic endurance showed statistically significant better results in control group (p<α). Conclusions: The results of subjects with patelofemoral knee pain syndrome were statisticaly significant worse in knee joint proprioception testing at 30 angle and in the right knee at 45 angle (p<α). The assessment of static balance, physical activity, knee flexor and extensor muscle strength and dynamic endurance showed statistically significant better results in control group (p<α). A comparison of the indicators had shown the statisticaly significant relations between knee flexor, extensor muscle strength, knee flexor and extensor muscle dinamic endurance and pain. Abstract
Introduction. After the disease COVID-19 caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus, many people recover completely, but others have symptoms that persist for weeks, months or even years after the illness, with the number of patients who are worried about the signs of Long-COVID constantly growing.
The aim. Study of the features of the epidemiological and clinical course, pathophysiological mechanisms of long-COVID development, based on the study and analysis of modern scientific data and the establishment of causal relationships of damage to the nervous and cardiovascular systems.
Materials and methods. The electronic databases Scopus, PubMed, Web of Science, using modern technologies (Obsidian), key terms and words related to Long COVID, distant neurological and cardio-vascular complications have been studied and analyzed.
Conclusions. "Long COVID" is conceptualized as a multiorgan disorder with a wide range of clinical signs that may indicate primarily damage to the nervous and cardiovascular systems. Central or peripheral nervous system lesions occur in more than one-third of patients. Cardiovascular complications, including stroke, are the predominant causes of death of people with "long COVID" (40 %). The most frequent neurological signs of "Long COVID" (>70 %) are fatigue, headache, sleep disorders, emotional disorders and sensorimotor disorders. The processes of neuroinflammatory and oxidative stress predominate in the spread of neurological consequences of "Long COVID".

EU external energy policy: the case of Azerbaijan
The article’s aim is to identify the features of EU external energy policy. The author analyses the evolution of EU energy policy and ongoing energy transition, using the primary and secondary legislation and scientific literature. Particular attention is paid to the European Green Deal, which affects EU energy relations with third countries. Azerbaijan was chosen as the case of analysis, because this country is the one of important suppliers of the natural gas to the European Union. The author concludes that the Europeanisation of Azerbaijan through mechanisms of conditionality and externalisation is beneficial to both the EU and Azerbaijan, and this, in turn, will push Azerbaijan to follow the European Green Deal
Obtaining Information From the Internet by Using Cloud Technologies During Pre-Trial Investigation
The use of information technology is an essential part of law enforcement activity. Cloud technology is widely widespread in our life. Unfortunately, it should be noted that this technology is not widespread in the activities of investigators during the pre-trial investigation of criminal offenses. Therefore, in this article the author focuses on the possibilities of using cloud technologies in law enforcement, as well as on the distinctive features of this technology. In addition, the author has conducted a study in the context of the possibility of obtaining information from the Internet using cloud technologies during pre-trial investigation of criminal offenses. Ways of obtaining information from the Internet using cloud technologies during the pre-trial investigation are studied and criminal procedural means of obtaining such information during the pre-trial investigation are identified. The problems of using cloud technology by the investigator are described in the article. The positive aspects of replacing traditional personal computers with cloud services are identified. The history of the development of cloud technologies is described. The models of cloud technologies and their importance in the activities of the investigator are analysed. The author has investigated the features of using virtual computers in Amazon Web Services during the pre-trial investigation. The possibility of using software product such as Microsoft Office 365 by the investigator is described
