    First evidence of the B 0 → J / ψ ω decay is found and the B s 0 → J / ψ η and B s 0 → J / ψ η ′ decays are studied using a dataset corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 1.0 fb -1 collected by the LHCb experiment in proton-proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of sqrt(s) = 7 TeV. The branching fractions of these decays are measured relative to that of the B 0 → J / ψ ρ 0 decay:frac(B (B 0 → J / ψ ω), B (B 0 → J / ψ ρ 0)) = 0.89 ± 0.19 (stat) - 0.13 + 0.07 (syst),frac(B (B s 0 → J / ψ η), B (B 0 → J / ψ ρ 0)) = 14.0 ± 1.2 (stat) - 1.5 + 1.1 (syst) - 1.0 + 1.1 (frac(f d, f s)),frac(B (B s 0 → J / ψ η ′), B (B 0 → J / ψ ρ 0)) = 12.7 ± 1.1 (stat) - 1.3 + 0.5 (syst) - 0.9 + 1.0 (frac(f d, f s)), where the last uncertainty is due to the knowledge of f d / f s, the ratio of b-quark hadronization factors that accounts for the different production rate of B 0 and B s 0 mesons. The ratio of the branching fractions of B s 0 → J / ψ η ′ and B s 0 → J / ψ η decays is measured to befrac(B (B s 0 → J / ψ η ′), B (B s 0 → J / ψ η)) = 0.90 ± 0.09 (stat) - 0.02 + 0.06 (syst)

    Study of B c + → J / ψ D s + Bc+J/ψDs+ {\mathrm{B}}_{\mathrm{c}}^{+}\to \mathrm{J}/\psi {\mathrm{D}}_{\mathrm{s}}^{+} and B c + → J / ψ D s ∗ + Bc+J/ψDs+ {\mathrm{B}}_{\mathrm{c}}^{+}\to \mathrm{J}/\psi {\mathrm{D}}_{\mathrm{s}}^{\ast +} decays in pp collisions at s s \sqrt{\mathrm{s}} = 13 TeV with the ATLAS detector

    Abstract A study of B c + → J / ψ D s + Bc+J/ψDs+ {B}_c^{+}\to J/\psi {D}_s^{+} and B c + → J / ψ D s ∗ + Bc+J/ψDs+ {B}_c^{+}\to J/\psi {D}_s^{\ast +} decays using 139 fb−1 of integrated luminosity collected with the ATLAS detector from s s \sqrt{s} = 13 TeV pp collisions at the LHC is presented. The ratios of the branching fractions of the two decays to the branching fraction of the B c + Bc+ {B}_c^{+} → J/ψπ+ decay are measured: B B c + → J / ψ D s + / B B c + → J / ψπ + B(Bc+J/ψDs+)/B(Bc+J/ψπ+) \mathcal{B}\left({B}_c^{+}\to J/\psi {D}_s^{+}\right)/\mathcal{B}\left({B}_c^{+}\to J/{\psi \pi}^{+}\right) = 2.76 ± 0.47 and B B c + → J / ψ D s ∗ + / B B c + → J / ψπ + B(Bc+J/ψDs+)/B(Bc+J/ψπ+) \mathcal{B}\left({B}_c^{+}\to J/\psi {D}_s^{\ast +}\right)/\mathcal{B}\left({B}_c^{+}\to J/{\psi \pi}^{+}\right) = 5.33 ± 0.96. The ratio of the branching fractions of the two decays is found to be B B c + → J / ψ D s ∗ + / B B c + → J / ψ D s ∗ + B(Bc+J/ψDs+)/B(Bc+J/ψDs+) \mathcal{B}\left({B}_c^{+}\to J/\psi {D}_s^{\ast +}\right)/\mathcal{B}\left({B}_c^{+}\to J/\psi {D}_s^{\ast +}\right) = 1.93 ± 0.26. For the B c + → J / ψ D s ∗ + Bc+J/ψDs+ {B}_c^{+}\to J/\psi {D}_s^{\ast +} decay, the transverse polarization fraction, Γ±±/Γ, is measured to be 0.70 ± 0.11. The reported uncertainties include both the statistical and systematic components added in quadrature. The precision of the measurements exceeds that in all previous studies of these decays. These results supersede those obtained in the earlier ATLAS study of the same decays with s s \sqrt{s} = 7 and 8 TeV pp collision data. A comparison with available theoretical predictions for the measured quantities is presented

Dose- and time-dependent effects of recombinant human bone morphogenetic protein-2 on the osteogenic and adipogenic potentials of alveolar bone-derived stromal cells. J Periodont Res 2012; 47: 645654. (C) 2012 John Wiley & Sons A/S Background and Objective: Recombinant human bone morphogenetic protein-2 (rhBMP-2) is a well-known growth factor that can induce robust bone formation, and recent studies have shown that rhBMP-2-induced osteogenesis is closely related to adipogenesis. The aim of the present study was to determine the dose- and time-dependent effects of rhBMP-2 on the osteogenic and adipogenic differentiation of human alveolar bone-derived stromal cells (hABCs) in vivo and in vitro. Material and Methods: hABCs were isolated and cultured, and then transplanted using a carrier treated either with or without rhBMP-2 (100 mu g/mL) into an ectopic subcutaneous mouse model. Comprehensive histologic and histometric analyses were performed after an 8-wk healing period. To further understand the dose-dependent (0, 10, 50, 200, 500 and 1000 ng/mL) and time-dependent (0, 3, 5, 7 and 14 d) effects of rhBMP-2 on osteogenic and adipogenic differentiation, in vitro osteogenic and adipogenic differentiation of hABCs were evaluated, and the expression of related mRNAs, including those for alkaline phosphatase, osteocalcin, bone sialoprotein, peroxisome-proliferator-activated receptor gamma-2 and lipoprotein lipase, were assessed using quantitative RT-PCR. Results: rhBMP-2 significantly promoted the osteogenic and adipogenic differentiation of hABCs in vivo, and gradually increased both the osteogenic and adipogenic potential in a dose- and time-dependent manner with minimal deviation in vitro. The expression of osteogenesis- and adipogenesis-associated mRNAs were concomitantly up-regulated by rhBMP-2. Conclusion: The findings of the present study showed that rhBMP-2 significantly enhanced the adipogenic as well as the osteogenic potential of hABCs in dose- and time-dependent manner. The control of adipogenic differentiation of hABCs should be considered when regenerating the alveolar bone using rhBMP-2.N

Kim 12043 (NIBRVP814953). Note: Kim & Kim (2015) cited J. H . Kim 13158 as its holotype and isotypes. All of the isotype specimens, however, were stamped as isotypes, and were recorded as J. H . Kim 13159- 1 in NNH and J. H . Kim 13159- 2 in KB (NIBRVP814952). Therefore, according to Art. 9.2 of the Code (Turland et al. 2018), a correction to the isotype citation is needed. In addition, Kim & Kim (2015) designated “ Jeollanam-do: Gangjin-gun, 19 August 2012, J. H. Kim 12043 ” as a paratype. One specimen of J. H . Kim 12043 (NIBRVP814953) was transferred to KB from JNU and stamped as the paratype. However, it seems that the specimen is not a type because it was collected from a different locality (“ Jeollanam-do, Jangseong-gun, Lake Jangseong ”) and on a different date (“ 28 August 2012 ”). The holotype is conserved in KH (!).Published as part of Jang, Hyun-Do, Hyun, Chang-Woo, Ryu, Seah & Lee, Sang-Jun, 2022, Type specimens of vascular plants in the herbarium of the National Institute of Biological Resources (II), pp. 229-243 in Phytotaxa 539 (3) on page 238, DOI: 10.11646/phytotaxa.539.3.2, http://zenodo.org/record/636408
