The performance of the above electrostatic filter design shows that it has a good potential for further development in commercial use. The problem discussed in this study is how the changes in past and present forms of Kayat performance in Rantau Kuantan in the Kuanan Sengingi Regency community. Then the data collected by means or methods of observation, interviews, and documentation. The venue for Past and Present Kayat Performances In Rantau Kuantan it depends on the host wanting to do the show only, if the Kayat Show in the past could be inside the house or on the home page, but now Kayat is on stage. In the past, Kayat can be done during the day and at night depending on the host, and if Kayat Now is done at night Kayat In the past it was shown only using lapiak or dancing and only using Dobat musical instruments or drums, Kayat Now shows using a keyboard musical instrument, saluang and others. In this research the types and sources of data obtained are using descriptive analysis methods that need to be observed. The theory used in this research is the theory of Rohidi (1994: 48) which states that cultural change or development is strongly influenced by an increase in population, changes in the natural geographical environment, the influence of cultural contacts, new discoveries, cultural borrowers and recipients of new cultural elements

Full text linkThe background of this study was the aesthetic concept of kayat tradition shifting, from before implamantation up to the implamantation of kayat in Kecamatan Kuantan Hilir Seberang Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi. The purpose of the study was to know the aspects of kayat tradition shifting in Kecamatan Kuantan Hilir Seberang Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi. The population of this studyis was society that they domiciled in Kecamatan Kuantan Hilir Seberang Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi numbered 12.771 people. The technique of collecting data was qualitative descriptive analysis, purposive sampling. The sampling of this study was 80 people .the kind of this study was descriptive qualitative. Technic of collecting data was collected by observation, interview, questionnaire, documents and bibliography. Data analysed by descriptive kualitative passes through percentage. Of respondent answer percentage count as a whole acquired Yes answer as much 55,4% one lays in rank 50,01%-100%. Hypothesis thus that aspects of kayat tradition shifting in Kecamatan Kuantan Hilir Seberang Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi was accepted. Base observational result, therefore gets to be concluded that kayat tradition in Kecamatan Kuantan Hilir seberang Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi which is gets shifting

Full text linkECOTOURISM has been variously defined in terms of its objective and roles contributing to certain areas in tourism.The public sectors would define ecotourism based on their roles as the policy-making, whilst the private sectors would define ecotourism based on the fact that they should gain something worth out of it.The concept of ecotourism is more on sustainable tourism, intelligent tourism, alternative tourism and solf tourism that normally known as 'geen'tourism.Since the early 1980s, there has been considerable debate on the environmental impacts of tourism and the links between green issues and ecotourism.The questions raised nowadays are, to what extend do tourists aware of their roles in developing ecotourism? Do they really need to understand the meaning of ecotourism in order to traveland use tourism infastructures? What actually are the tourists' roles in developing ecotourism industry? It is obvious that tourists play important roles in order to develop sustainable tourism.Thus, they need to understand clearly their roles as tourist in the context of ecotourism. Women in building surveyor profession in Malaysia / Nor Adliza Kayat
Full text linkThe purpose of this study is to explore about the women in building surveyor profession in Malaysia. This study will identify three objective where it is to explore the industry player’s perspective of women working as building surveying in Malaysia, to identify the reasons for the lack of women entering the building surveying profession as a career in Malaysia and to suggest ways to improve women number’s in building surveyor profession. Building surveying profession in Malaysia have particularly low participation rate of women's participation. At present there are 95 thousand qualified surveyor, but only 10 percent are women. Malaysia statistics, from 4928 members of the Institution of Surveyors Malaysia (ISM), there are 1,500 women surveyor but only 570 from them are building surveyors. It shows that the participation of women in this profession is still low. A questionnaire were distributed to 60 respondents that focused on private company and local authorities, women working in the construction department and female graduate students in building surveying courses in order to achieve the objective of this study. But, only 50 respondent that give a feedback. After the collecting data, the data will be analyze using statically package for social science (SPSS) and Microsoft excel. The analysis will be perform by the pie chart or bar graph and show the frequency, percentage and mean value. This data analysis is to ensure the objective are achieved. Conclusion, from the analysis done, the main reason the lack of women entering building surveyor profession is women refuse traveling long distance or long periods away from home. This study also will suggests the way to improve the numbers of women in this profesion
