The Effect of Lovaas Behavioral Therapy on Verbal Communication Skills in Autistic Children at Ananda Karsa Mandiri Foundation

sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah lima orang anak autisme yang mengalami
gangguan komunikasi verbal yang diambil secara purposive sampling.
Dalam upaya untuk membuktikan penelitian ini, maka digunakan metode
eksperimen pretes posttes one group design dan teknik analisis data chisquare
dimana yang menjadi variabel bebas x adalah terapi perilaku metode lovaas dan
yang menjadi variabel terikat y adalah kemampuan komunikasi verbal.
Hasil dari penelitian ini menemukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif yang
sangat signifikan terapi perilaku metode lovaas terhadap kemampuan verbal anak
autisme. Hasil ini dibuktikan dengan within category menunjukkan adanya total
peningkatan sebesar 72% komunikasi verbal anak autisme dengan tingkat
reliabilitas 0,01. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disampaikan bahwa terapi perilaku
metode lovaas memiliki pengaruh yang positif terhadap peningkatan kemampuan
komunikasi anak autisme. This study aims to determine the effect of behavioral therapy methods

No full textKarya sastra merupakan perwujudan daya imajinasi dan latar belakang seorang pengarang yang di dalamnya berisi berbagai masalah yang mencerminkan kehidupan manusia di masyarakat. Hal tersebut berkaitan dengan kejiwaan tokoh dalam proses pemenuhan kebutuhan sehingga muncul beberapa konflik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan (1) representasi kebutuhan tokoh utama dalam novel Karsa karya El Alicia (2) bentuk konflik batin tokoh utama dalam novel Karsa karya El Alicia. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah baca dan catat, sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis data interaktif yang terdiri atas pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian dalam menganalisis novel Karsa karya El Alicia terdapat representasi kebutuhan tokoh utama berupa kebutuhan kebutuhan fisiologis, kebutuhan rasa aman, kebutuhan rasa dicintai dan memiliki, kebutuhan dihargai, dan kebutuhan aktualisasi diri. Bentuk konflik batin yang muncul pada tokoh utama akibat adanya proses pemenuhan kebutuhan terdapat lima konflik, yaitu rasa takut, rasa cemas, sedih, sakit hati, dan marah. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan, proses pemenuhan kebutuhan paling mendasar sehingga muncul konflik batin adalah kebutuhan rasa aman. Konflik batin muncul karena tidak terpenuhinya kebutuhan dan konflik yang paling sering muncul adalah cemas

No full textAutisme merupakan gangguan perkembangan dengan tiga ciri utama yaitu
gangguan interaksi sosial, gangguan perilaku dan gangguan komunikasi (Kanner
dalam Wenar, 2004). Sebagian besar anak-anak autisme mengalami ganguan
dalam komunikasi verbalnya. Gangguan komunikasi tersebut disebabkan karena
adanya gangguan dipusat bahasa otak yang terletak pada lobus parietalis kiri,
yang apabila mengalami kelainan atau kerusakan akan menimbulkan kesulitan
dalam berkomunikasi.

Different Sources of Inspiration in the Works of Ananda Devi
No full textIn the article the author analyses various sources of inspiration noticeable in the works of Ananda Devi. Considering the writer’s background, her native island of Mauritius, a multi-ethnic multi-lingual and multi-cultural island, various cultural inspirations are noticeable in her works. The author of this article focuses on the novelist’s prose and analyses the cultural references rooted in Indian, European, African and Creole cultures. The aim of this analysis is also to describe the intertextual relations that exist between some of Ananda Devi’s texts and the works of Jean-Marie Gustave Le Clézio, Tahar Ben Jelloun, Arthur Rimbaud or Malcolm de Chazal, T. S. Eliot, Toni Morrison and J. M. Coetzee. In the analysis, the author draws on the research of Homi Bhabha and Gérard Genette

Trying to take into account both dimensions of such an artistic but also human experience, the text points out the links between Ananda Devi’s words and the young immigrants’ ones, and also the influence of having read them on the way to lead the workshop. But, above all, it shows how such a poetic writing is necessary not to reduce migration to a simple and measurable fact.Inspirée par des pages de Ceux du large (Ananda Devi, 2017) et des pages d’autres auteurs avec lesquels Ananda Devi est en lien, une performance été faite par un artiste-chercheur devant aussi animer un atelier de création sonore et à la même période. Parmi les participants se trouvaient de jeunes migrants. Essayant de prendre en compte toutes les dimensions d’une telle expérience aussi bien humaine qu’artistique, le texte fait apparaître les liens entre les mots d’Ananda Devi et ceux des jeunes migrants, et aussi l’influence de les avoir lus sur la façon de conduire l’atelier. Mais, par-dessus tout, il s’agit de montrer combien une telle écriture poétique est nécessaire pour ne pas réduire la migration à un simple fait mesurable

In her first novels as well as in her recent ones, the writer resorts to solutions from the fantasy genre. In L’Arbre fouet, Moi, l’interdite, La Vie de Joséphin le Fou, Pagli, Soupir, Indian tango, Les Jours vivants, Manger l’autre and in Le Jour des caméléons, the Mauritian novelist presents mysterious incipits and open-ended, dreamlike endings, introduces hybridised, often insane characters half animal half human, describes metamorphoses and transformations of man into animal, mentions imaginary sobriquets, ghosts. The aim of the analysis is also to try to explain for what purpose the writer uses fantasy in her work. In the analysis, the author also draws on the research of T. Todorov, P.-G. Castex, L.
