    Kajian ini bertujuan meneroka sejarah dan perkembangan Nasi Kandar di Pulau pinang. Selain itu, tujuan kajian ini dilakukan adalah untuk mengenalpasti potensi Nasi Kandar sebagai makanan warisan di Pulau Pinang serta menganalisis penerimaan masyarakat di Seberang Perai terhadap Nasi Kandar sebagai identiti pulau Pinang. Kaedah kajian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif iaitu berdasarkan soalan soal selidik dan kaedah kualitatif iaitu kajian kepustakaan dilakukan untuk mendapatkan data dan maklumat yang lebih lengkap. Analisis SWOT dan Teori Segitiga Semiotik digunakan dalam kajian ini untuk mengkaji aspek konsep, simbol dan rujukan dalam mengenalpasti potensi yang ada pada Nasi Kandar untuk diangkat sebagai makanan warisan Pulau Pinang. Hasil kajian mendapati majoriti masyarakat di Pulau Pinang mengetahui sejarah dan pekembangan Nasi Kandar dan juga kewujudan masyarakat minoriti India Muslim di Pulau Pinang. Seterusnya, kajian ini membuktikan Nasi Kandar berpotensi untuk dijadikan makanan warisan di Pulau Pinang daripada segi rasa, variasi kuah dan harga Nasi Kandar yang berpatutan. Hasil kajian juga mendapati kebanyakan masyarakat di Pulau Pinang terutamanya di Seberang Perai menerima Nasi Kandar sebagai satu identiti Pulau Pinang dan berpendapat bahawa Nasi Kandar adalah simbolik bagi Pulau Pinang dan perlu diangkat sebagai makanan warisan

    Indonesia dan malaysia memiliki budaya yang serumpun yaitu Indo-Melayu. Sumatera memiliki rendangyang terdapat didalam nasi padang dan malaysia memiliki rendang yang terdapat didalam nasi kandar. KeduaRendang ini dimasak dengan menggunakan waktu yang berbeda. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisisperbedaan proksimat rendang khas nasi padang dan rendang nasi khas kandar. Pengujian yang dilakukan adalahanalisis proksimat kadar protein, kadar lemak, karbohidrat, kadar abu serat kasar, kadar air. Penelitian ini termasukdalam jenis penelitian eksperimen. Perlakuan dalam penelitian ini dilakukan sebanyak dua kali pengulangan. Datayang didapat dilanjutkan dengan uji-t untuk mengetahui perbedaan dari segi statistik. Hasil uji-t menunjukkanterdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada protein, karbohidrat, dan kadar abu,.     'Nasi kandar': a study of eating habits and it's relations to a safe diet

    ‘Nasi kandar’ was originated way back during the 18lh Century when Indian Muslim from Southern India migrated to Penang during the British Colonial period. It has evolve over the years is enjoyed by Malaysian from all walks of life regardless of age, gender, profession, race or religion thus becoming a multi-ethnic food. This outlet; factors that influence people to eat ‘nasi kandar’ and their eating habits; screen the microorganisms load in selected pairing dishes. A total of 122 Indian- Muslim stalls and restaurants in the Klang Valley and Penang were visited in order to compare food selection availability and locality. A total of 316 randomly selected patrons were picked up to answer a set of questionnaire concerning the reason for eating at the chosen food outlet and their typical choice of pairing dishes. Data from the questionnaires and observation list were analyzed with descriptive statistics using PASW 18.0 software. Thirty three random food samples were purchased and taken for lab testing to measure the existence of microorganisms specifically Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli and coliforms. Rapid method using Petrifilm™ plates from 3M were used to count the bacteria loading instead of the conventional MPN method. More than half of the total respondent (58.9%) would consume ‘nasi kandar’ at least once a week while 41.1% consume more than once a week. Lunch time is the most popular time to eat ‘nasi kandar’. Chicken base dishes were the most diversed and widely available mainly for its cheaper price and have a more universal appeal to different race and religion thus making it the more popular choices among ‘nasi kandar’ partons. ‘Ayam go reng’ and ‘ikan go reng’ recorded S.aureus count of 4.4x102cfu/g and 1.3xl02 cfu/g respectively. Egg based samples showed a much higher count of E.coli, coliforms and S.aureus compared to meat based dishes, showing bacteria count ranging from 4.4xl02 cfu/g to 1.8xl04 cfu/g. Gravy base dishes in this study recorded of E.coli, Coliforms and S.aureus count ranging from below 1.5x10 cfu/g to 6.5x102 cfu/g. ‘Bendi’ recorded the highest E.coli (1.6xl03 cfu/g) and S.aureus (1.2xl03 cfu/g) counts. ‘Acar timun’ recorded the highest count for coliform bacteria (5.5x104 cfu/g).     My memorable and enlightening 6-month industrial training began here at Hasani Group Sdn Bhd. My industrial training began on February 2021 and will end on July 23 2021. Puan Renuga as my supervisor at Hasani Group ha been helping me since day one of internship until the end of internship. She has been a great help for me in completing my internship at Hasani Group in Account Department. And Manager of Hasani Group, En Anwar gave me a lot of experience in getting know my scope of job and have been guiding me in completing my task during my internship. I have been assigned to two department of business which account department of Hasani Bookshop and Account Department of Restaurant Hussain Nasi Kandar and Fatimah Bakey. In Account Department of Hasani Bookshop, I have been given responsible to manage the Credit Purchase, Credit Note, Good Return Advice and Good Return Note from the supplier and clients. I have also been assigned to do filling for credit payment filling for salary. In Account Department of Restauran Nasi Kandar Hussain and Fatimah Bakery, I have been assigned to print payment voucher, did cashbook, key in the data sales and expenses in Mr Accounting system and doing filling for credit payment of Restaurant and Bakary. I have also learn and did time management for salary for local workers. I also has learned to key in Salary and learned to calculate the EPF, SOCSO and SIP for local workers. In this report, the discussion is about the financial performance of Restaurant Hussain Nasi Kandar Hussain Pekan Baru SP during the Pandemic Covid-19. Employing a qualitative phenomenological approach, 15 purposively selected participants underwent in-depth interviews, with thematic analysis unveiling prevalent themes. The findings underscore the intricate nature of sustainability in Penang's Nasi Kandar scene, emphasizing aspects like cost management, staff training, technology integration, menu flexibility, sustainable practices, policy alignment, and community involvement. The research contributes a conceptual framework for addressing industry challenges, stressing holistic approaches integrating menu adaptability, sustainable practices, policy alignment, and community engagement. Practical implications provide actionable insights for restaurant owners to develop robust strategies. Nevertheless, the study recognizes the necessity for further empirical validation and deeper analysis to refine these strategies. Overall, it furnishes a thorough examination of sustainability hurdles in Penang's Nasi Kandar sector, accompanied by pragmatic measures to fortify long-term viability

    Penulisan latihan ilmiah ini mengandungi IV bab. Bab I menumpukan ke atas beberapa aspek yang penting bagi menjayakan pengkajian ini; termasuk ialah penjelasan tentang tujuan kajian, tentang kepentingan kajian serta konsep dan definisi tertentu. Bahagian-bahagian ini telah diatur sebelum pengarang menjalankan kajian luar sebenar supaya latihan kajian dapat dijalankan dengan baik tanpa halangan-halangan yang besar. Bahagian-bahagian yang lain membincangkan jenis-jenis dadah dan tempat pengutipan data. Deskripsi beberapa dadah yang sering disalahgunakan di Malaysia adalah bertujuan untuk membuat perbincangan-perbincangan yang berikut lebih mudah kerana perbezaan antara kesan-kesan dadah sama ada dari konteks sosial ataupun fisiologi adalah dirasakan. Berkenaan dengan tempat pengutipan data ini ditulis secara ringkas. Oleh kerana kawasan kajian sebenarnya tidak sama dengan tempat pengutipan data, kawasan kajian adalah secara abstrak. Bab II membuat penerangan tentang cara hidup penyalahgunaan dadah. Sebenarnya bab ini bertidnak sebagai sokongan kepada tema kajian iaitu di bab III. Dengan mengetahui profail-profail dalam kesakitan dapat menolong kita dalam memahami penyalahgunaan dadah sebagai personified inidividual. Adalah diharapkan dengan memuatkan bab ini akan menarik para pembaca lebih rapat lagi kepada masalah sebanar penyalahgunaan dadah. Dengan bab III ialah penekanan yang utama dalam kajian ini, iaitu satu kajian phenomenologikal ke atas sampel seramai 50 orang. Ini adalah analisa berjadual yang melihat empat aspek tentang penyalahgunaan dadah. Pertama, perbincangan menumpukan ke atas latar belakang sosio-ekonomi responden. Kedua, ialah dari aspek keluarga. Aspek ketiga ialah perbincangan ringkas mengenai tempat kediaman responden. Aspek terakhir ialah mengenai perhubungan antarabangsa angkubah seperti umur, persekolahan, rokok dan alkohol, sumber kewangan dan jenayah. Bab terakhir menyimpulkan perbincangan-perbincangan sebelumnya. Di samping itu, pengarang suka untuk menyentuh tentang kelemahan-kelemahan kajian dan memberi cadangan untuk kajian masa depan. Juga dimuatkan beberapa ilustrasi untuk menyerikan lagi laporan ini

    Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

    The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

The companies already constituting a dominant force in terms of screening have also become active in the field of film production. In addition to these, after 2015, digital platforms, offering very large online content libraries in high quality, without advertising, and with affordable subscription fees compared to the prices of movie tickets, have begun to provide service in Turkey. Aim of this study is analyzing what traditional film industry and digital film platforms becoming widespread offer to viewers in accordance with the current dynamics of the cinema in Turkey. The possible impacts of technological developments on cinema have been discussed throughout the history of cinema. The study discusses how cinema audience influenced by the current digitalization brings the possibilities of cinema out of the movie theaters and makes them available at any moment. Additionally, the aim is to reach a conclusion about the current situation and future of especially art-house or non-mainstream productions.by Burcu Kandar
