ETHNO IPS: INOVASI MATERI PEMBELAJARAN IPS BERBANTUAN UNSUR BUDAYA
The purpose of this study is to review an innovation of social science (IPS) learning material that uses cultural elements. Innovation in learning is useful as a tool used for learning. Therefore, in the field of learning, teachers creativity, especially in the IPS was very important. In this case, the author offers learning IPS used cultural elements of Ethno IPS. Ethno IPS is a merger of social sciences such as sociology, geography, economics and history with cultural elements. Hopefully, this implementation can increase the knowledge of cultural diversity in Indonesia and as a reference to learning and teaching more interesting

Performance estimation technique for optimizing and integrating IPs in MPSoCs
Over the last decade, the complexity of system-on-chips (SoCs) has continuously increased owing to the increasing demand for high performance IPs and SoCs. However, the productivity of chip designers has not scaled up at the same rate. This has led to an enormous design productivity gap. At the same time, the increasing time-to-market pressure and the high risk of design failure have all fostered the development of IP re-use based designs. One of the major challenges in re-using IPs is that it is difficult to configure and verify the performance of IPs/ IP subsystems after they are integrated into an existing SoC with a given infrastructure (on-chip network, memory subsystem, etc.). To overcome these challenges, we propose two performance estimation techniques that are based on high-level performance modeling of IPs and SoC infrastructure. These models capture some of their key performance characteristics (e.g. latency tolerance of IPs) and help relate the performance dependence of IPs on the service provided by the SoC infrastructure. Along with the advantage of re-using the high-level IP models in multiple SoC designs, the models allow the SoC designer to iteratively estimate the performance of a SoC over a range of IP and SoC infrastructure configurations, thereby aiding the design space exploration process. The proposed performance estimation techniques are particularly useful in rapidly re-assessing the performance of all IP/ IP subsystems once they are integrated into a given SoC design. The performance estimates provided by these techniques in the early SoC design stages saves a significant portion of the precious design time. Macrophage-like iPS-derived Suppressor Cells Reduce Th1-mediated Immune Response to a Retinal Antigen
Purpose To investigate the immunotherapeutic effects of macrophage-like induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cell-derived suppressor cells (SCs) in ocular immune response and experimental autoimmune uveoretinitis (EAU). Methods The genes of Oct3/4, Sox2, Klf4, and c-Myc were transferred to B cells enriched from the spleen cells of C57BL/6 mice by using retrovirus vectors. Transferred B cells were cultured for 17 days to obtain colonies of iPS cells. Through additional steps, iPS-SCs were induced. An antigen-specific T cell proliferation assay was performed with CD4(+) T cells collected from draining lymph nodes of the mice immunized with human interphotoreceptor retinoid-binding protein (hIRBP) peptide and co-cultured with iPS-SCs. Cytokine concentrations in the culture supernatant were examined. Mice were immunized with hIRBP peptide to induce EAU. The iPS-SCs were administered into the mice one day before the induction of EAU. Results The iPS-SCs decreased hIRBP-specific T cell proliferation depending on the number of cells. Productions of tumor necrosis factor-alpha and interferon-gamma were significantly decreased; however, transforming growth factor-beta 1, nitric oxide, interleukin (IL)-13, IL-17A, and IL-17 F levels were elevated in the supernatant when the collected T cells were co-cultured with iPS-SCs. The iPS-SCs had immunosuppressant effects even without cell-to-cell contact, and their effects were non-specific to the antigen preloaded on iPS-SCs. EAU was significantly milder in the mice administered iPS-SCs prior to immunization. Conclusions Macrophage-like iPS-SCs reduced Th1 immune response to a retinal antigen and Th1-mediated EAU in mice. These results showed the possibility of the application of iPS technology to the treatment of noninfectious ocular inflammation, endogenous uveitis, in the future
Urheilutapahtuman suunnittelu ja laajentaminen, case: IPS Witch Cup
Tämän opinnäytetyön aihe oli IPS Witch Cup naisten jalkapallotapahtuman laajennusmahdollisuuksien tutkiminen kesän 2013 IPS Witch Cupia varten. Tekijä oli myös mukana kesän 2012 IPS Witch Cupin toteutuksessa ja suunnittelussa. Aihe valikoitui tekijän mielenkiinnosta jalkapalloa ja tapahtumanjärjestämistä kohtaan. Tekijä pelaa myös itse IPS Witch -joukkueessa. Tehtävänä oli selvittää teoriaa tapahtuman järjestämisestä sekä olla mukana järjestämässä IPS Witch Cupia kesällä 2012. IPS Witch Cupin pääsuunnittelijana ja järjestäjänä toimi Päivi Parikka. Turnauksen jälkeen tekijä siirtyi pohtimaan IPS Witch Cupin laajennusmahdollisuuksia kesää 2013 sekä tulevaisuutta varten. Laajennusmahdollisuuksia tekijä pohti tekemänsä kyselyn perusteella. Kysely tehtiin kaikille kesän 2012 IPS Witch Cupiin osallistuneille joukkueille.
Teoriaosuus liittyi tapahtuman suunnitteluun sekä järjestämiseen. Teoriaosuutta etsittiin sekä kirjallisuuden että Internetin kautta. Empiirinen osa opinnäytetyössä oli IPS Witch Cup 2012 järjestelyissä mukana oleminen sekä turnauksen laajentamismahdollisuuksien pohtiminen kyselyn perusteella.
Tutkimustulosten mukaan IPS Witch Cupia ei välttämättä kannata laajentaa kaksipäiväiseksi turnaukseksi. Suuriosa joukkueista pitää IPS Witch Cupin yksipäiväisyyttä valttina verrattuna muihin turnauksiin. Kyselyyn osallistuneet joukkueet pitävät myös siitä, että turnaus on kutsuvierasturnaus eli turnaukseen voi osallistua vain kutsutut joukkueet. Yksi joukkue sanoi, että turnaus voisi olla myös avoin turnaus, ja mikään joukkueista ei sanonut avoimen turnauksen olevan huono ratkaisu.The purpose of this thesis was to study possibilities to extend IPS Witch Cup, women´s amateur football event for summer 2013 and for the future. Author was also involved in the planning and organizing IPS Witch Cup for summer 2012. The subject for this thesis was selected from author´s interest in football and organizing an even. Author also plays in IPS Witch football team. Task was to study theory of organizing an event as well as being involved in organizing IPS Witch Cup 2012. The main planning and organizing of IPS Witch Cup was done by Päivi Parikka. After the tournament, the author started to contemplate IPS Witch Cup extension opportunities for summer 2013 and for the future. The author contemplated opportunities to extend the event by an enquiry that was conducted to all IPS Witch Cup participant teams in summer 2012.
Theoretical part of this thesis was associated with planning and organizing an event. The theory was searched also from books and Internet. The empirical part of this thesis was being involved in organizing IPS Witch Cup 2012 and to contemplate extension opportunities by an enquiry that was made.
According to the enquiry IPS Witch Cup might not be worth extending to a two-day tournament. Most of the teams considered IPS Witch Cup´s one day dura-tion as an asset compared to other tournaments. Teams also liked that the tournament is only for invited teams. One team said that the tournament could also be organized as an invitation free tournament and none of the teams con-sidered the invitation free tournament to be a bad solution
Identifikasi Peninggalan Bersejarah Minak Braja Selebah Sebagai Sumber Belajar IPS
This research aims to investigate the historical heritage of Minak Braja Selebah as a social studies learning resource. By using a qualitative descriptive method the author carried out several techniques to collect data, namely by using interview methods, participant observation and literature study. From the results of research conducted by the author in the villages of Braja Luhur, Braja Mulya and Jepara Village, the results showed that Minak Braja Selebah is the oldest tribe from the formation of Braja Selebah sub-district and Way Jepara sub-district, which was first centered in the Braja Selebah area or more precisely, the government was centered in Braja Village. sublime. During the observations, several historical relics were obtained which local residents believe to be evidence of the reign of Minak Braja Selebah. Evidence of heritage found is; manuscripts, ceramic jars, ceramic plates, and tombs made from a collection of stones. The learning resources used in social studies learning cover various things in social life in society, one of which is ethnopedagogy, which views local knowledge or wisdom as a source of innovation and skills that can be used for the welfare of society. Generation of iPS cell lines from schizophrenia patients using a non-integrative method
Skin biopsies were collected from three male patients (age 45, 44 and 44) with clinically diagnosed schizophrenia. The patients were diagnosed according to DSM-5 criteria by a trained psychiatrist. Dermal fibroblast cell lines were established and expanded for subsequent reprogramming procedures. Induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cells were derived using the integration-free CytoTune®-iPS 2.0 Sendai Reprogramming Kit, containing Sendai virus particles of the four Yamanaka factors Oct3/4, Sox2, Klf4 and c-Myc
Evaluation of IPS Effectiveness for Different Attack Scenarios
У кваліфікаційній роботі бакалавра було досліджено ефективність роботи системи запобігання вторгненням IPS Suricata, інтегрованої у маршрутизатор pfSense, з метою підвищення рівня захисту інформаційних систем від сучасних кіберзагроз. Робота охоплює аналіз сучасних мережевих атак, класифікацію загроз а також вивчення механізмів роботи IPS-рішень. Для дослідження було розроблено лабораторне середовище на базі гіпервізора Hyper-V із використанням операційних систем pfSense, Kali Linux та вразливої системи Metasploitable VM, що дозволило змоделювати реалістичні сценарії атак, зокрема SYN Flood, brute force та атаки на DNS-сервіс.
Отримані результати тестування показали, що IPS Suricata ефективно виявляє та блокує підозрілий мережевий трафік у режимі реального часу, що підтверджується аналізом журналів подій та сповіщень. Результати роботи підтверджують доцільність застосування IPS Suricata як ефективного інструменту захисту інформаційних систем у сучасних умовах кіберзагроз.In this bachelor's thesis, the author investigated the effectiveness of the IPS Suricata intrusion prevention system integrated into the pfSense router to improve the level of protection of information systems from modern cyber threats. The work includes the analysis of modern network attacks, threat classification, and the study of the mechanisms of IPS solutions. For the study, a laboratory environment based on the Hyper-V hypervisor was developed using pfSense, Kali Linux and the vulnerable Metasploitable VM system, which allowed to simulate realistic attack scenarios, including SYN Flood, brute force and DNS service attacks.
The test results showed that IPS Suricata effectively detects and blocks suspicious network traffic in real time, which is confirmed by the analysis of event and notification logs.
