Measurement of the ratio of branching fractions B(B0→K∗0γ )/B(B0s→φγ ) and the directCP asymmetry inB 0→K∗0γ
The ratio of branching fractions of the radiative B decays B0→K⁎0γ and B0s→ϕγ has been measured using an integrated luminosity of 1.0 fb−1 of pp collision data collected by the LHCb experiment at a centre-of-mass energy of s√=7TeV. The value obtained is
B(B0→K⁎0γ)B(B0s→ϕγ)=1.23±0.06(stat.)±0.04(syst.)±0.10(fs/fd),
where the first uncertainty is statistical, the second is the experimental systematic uncertainty and the third is associated with the ratio of fragmentation fractions fs/fd. Using the world average value for B(B0→K⁎0γ), the branching fraction B(B0s→ϕγ) is measured to be (3.5±0.4)×10−5.
The direct CP asymmetry in B0→K⁎0γ decays has also been measured with the same data and found to be
ACP(B0→K⁎0γ)=(0.8±1.7(stat.)±0.9(syst.))%.
Both measurements are the most precise to date and are in agreement with the previous experimental results and theoretical expectations
K-M survival curve.
The solid line represents the K-M estimate for the low coupling synergy firm, and the dotted line represents the K-M estimate for the high coupling synergy firm. The survival curves of high dual circulation coupling synergy firms are higher than those of low dual circulation coupling synergy firms.</p
On codimensions k immersions of m-manifolds for k = m - 3, k = m - 5 and k = m - 6
Let us consider M be a closed smooth connected m-manifold, N be a smooth n-manifold and f: M → N be a continuousmapwith codimension k = n - m > 0. In this paper, under certain conditions, we prove that f is homotopic to an immersion, in the following cases: m ≡ (14) and codimension k = m - 3; m ≡ 2(4), m ≡ 3(8) and codimension k = m - 5; m ≡ 2(4), m ≡ 3(8) and codimension k = m - 6. This work complements some results of Biasi et al. [1, 2], Koschorke [9] and of Li and Li [5]. © 2010 Pushpa Publishing House.ICMC-USP, Caixa Postal 668, 13560-970, São Carlos SPIGCE-UNESP, 13500-230 Rio Claro, SPUFSCar, Caixa Postal 676, 13565-905, São Carlos, SPIGCE-UNESP, 13500-230 Rio Claro, S

<p>v2.0.6 2024-03-08
Twenty-second post-public release of Feb 6, 2020.
This is the third preparation of a build by M&K team (rather than Performant) for production.</p>
<p>Along with https://github.com/cu-mkp/edition-webpages/releases/tag/v3.0.4 (same as last time)

<p>Building on previous release (v2.0.6) which was never deployed to production due to bugs. This will thus result in the twenty-second post-public release of Feb 6, 2020.
This is the third preparation of a build by M&K team (rather than Performant) for production.</p>

<p>Reverted all "new" essays from v2.0.5 back to be generated from gdrive (as opposed to github) to see if that resolves missing images issue (https://github.com/cu-mkp/making-knowing-edition/issues/504).</p>

cu-mkp/m-k-manuscript-data: v2.0.2 2022-01-04
Sixteenth post-public release of Feb 6, 2020.
Along with https://github.com/cu-mkp/edition-webpages/releases/tag/v3.0.2
Second release after the site's redesign. Major update is that most essays moved to Github repo and maintained as html (https://github.com/cu-mkp/m-k-annotation-data).
Updates to xml, annotation-metadata, all derivative files.
