HUBUNGAN PEMBERIAN SUPLEMEN ZAT BESI (FE) PADA IBU HAMIL DENGAN BERAT BADAN LAHIR RENDAH (BBLR) DI RSUD ABDUL WAHAB SJAHRANIE SAMARINDA
Babies of low birth weight is a baby who weighed less than 2500 grams. Low birth weight is caused by several factors i.e. a premature birth, small size baby, and IUGR (intra-uterine growth retardation). The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation between supplemental iron (Fe) in pregnant women and low birth weight. The design research is quantitative method with Case Control approach using 116 samples from 58 cases and 58 control groups with a ratio of 1:1 for both sexes. The sampling method is purposive Sampling. Dana analyzed using Chi Square correlation test with CI 95% at value of α of 5%. The results showed that there was a correlations between supplemental Fe in pregnant women (ρ value = 0,001 with OR = 8.25) with low birth weight. To reduce the high incidence of low birth weight, pregnant women are suggested to take Fe supplements or taking high content Fe meal everyday
The effect of gymnastics on changes in nutritional status and physical fitness levels in overweight and obese adolescents
Gymnastics is a sport that affects the BMI and physical fitness of overweight and obese adolescents. Overweight and obesity occur due to an imbalance in energy intake and expenditure and a decrease in physical activity, which can cause adolescent health problems. This study aims to analyze the effect of physical fitness gymnastics on changes in BMI and physical fitness of overweight and obese adolescents. The research design is a quasi-experimental pre-post intervention study. The research was conducted at the 2nd and 3rd State Junior High Schools in Samarinda City, from November 2020 to January 2021. A sample of 38 people was selected using purposive sampling. Data collection was collected by weighing, measuring height, and measuring nutritional status using BMI for age. Fitness data obtained from IPFT measurement results. Statistical analysis using T-tests. The results showed that there was no difference in body weight and fitness before and after exercise intervention in the two groups (overweight and obese) (p>0,05), but BMI for age showed a difference before and after (p<0,05). With the difference in changes in body weight (2,35 ± 0,85 kg), BMI for age (0,52 ± 18,43), and increased fitness (2,86 ± 2,50). In conclusion, the physical fitness exercise intervention affected changes in body weight, BMI for age, and physical fitness of overweight and obese adolescents, which was carried out for 12 weeks with a frequency of 5 times per week for 30 minutes
Pelatihan “Peer Educator” dalam Upaya Penanganan Gizi Lebih Pada Remaja
Community service aims to improve adolescent knowledge with the peer educator method at SMP Negeri 2 Samarinda. The technique used is classroom action research with a cross-sectional approach. The supporting partners for this service are the principal, teachers, and 53 students. The instrument used is a questionnaire given as a pre-test and post-test before and after being given nutrition education with a total of 20 multiple-choice questions about balanced nutrition knowledge. This community service was carried out in June-August 2024. To see the difference in knowledge scores before and after being given nutrition education, the Paired Sample T-Test was used. The results of the study showed that there was a significant difference (p = 0.001) in knowledge scores before and after being given balanced nutrition education. The results showed an increase in the average knowledge from 54.62 ± 15.65 to 76.98 ± 5.40 with a difference of 22.36 ± 14.19. This shows that nutrition education training with the peer educator method is effective in improving student knowledge at SMP Negeri 2 Samarinda
Pembuatan Sistem Informasi Penjualan Furniture Dan Electronic Pada Toko Joice Group
ABSTRACT : Along with the development of rapid information technology and the increasing use of information systems, requires a company or agency to promote information services faster and more efficiently. In the Store Joice group, author noticed many problems in the data processing sales and purchases, as it is still done conventionally so the impact on the delay in the delivery of an information data, both to managers and to consumers.With this author system provides a solution of making the sale and purchase of information. With a system of this information, it can help in the process of selling, buying pemriksaan accuracy in inventory and sales reports.In this study describes what are the things that factor into making the sale and purchase of information system and what is needed in the making.Resulting from the research and design of information systems sales and purchases are provided at the Joice Store group in the data processing and provide information funiture sales inventories, sales reports and purchase at the store Joice group.Key Word : Development of Information Systems and Electronic Sales Funiture ABSTRAKSI : Seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi informasi yang semakin pesat dan semakin bertambahnya penggunaan sistem informasi, menuntut suatu perusahaan atau instansi untuk mengedepankan layanan informasi yang lebih cepat dan lebih efisien. Pada Toko Joice group, penulis memperhatikan masih banyak permasalahan pada proses pengolahan data penjualan dan pembelian , karena masih dilakukan secara konvensional sehingga berdampak terhadap keterlambatan di dalam penyampaian suatu data informasi, baik kepada manajer maupun kepada konsumen.Dengan ini penulis memberikan solusi pembuatan sistem informasi penjualan dan pembelian. Dengan adanya sistem informasi ini, maka dapat membantu dalam proses penjualan, pembelian ketepatan dalam pemriksaan persediaan dan laporan penjualan. Dalam penelitian ini menguraikan tentang hal-hal apa saja yang menjadi faktor pembuatan sitem informasi penjualan dan pembelian dan apa saja yang dibutuhkan dalam pembuatannya. The Correlation Factors of Washing Technique Equipment With Health Cutlery in Delicatessens In The Work Area Port Health Office Samarinda
Hygiene of food and beverages is influenced by cutlery. Behavioral factor related to the food management is an important factor in food hygiene. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship of knowledge and washing techniques practice with the hygiene tableware at food stalls.The design of this study was Cross-sectional. The study was conducted in food stall at the Port Health Office Samarinda using observation method completed by cutlery hygiene inspection. The research samples were 4 to 5 tableware and 30 samples of food handlers. Mann Whitney test was used as the data analysis.The findings showed that there was no relationship between knowledge and hygiene of utensils (Ï value = 0370), while there was a relationship between the practice of cleanliness of cutlery (Ï value = 0.002) in food stall at The Port health Office area in Samarinda.Suggestions for food handlers are to soak the cutlery in advance so that the rest of the food stuck or the hardened part can be easily off and cleaned. Do the rinsing with the running water or frequently replace the rinse water. Re-clean the cutlery using a clean cloth or frequently replaced and keep cutlery in proper place, avoid the dust and dirt. To the related institutions are expected to do the regular inspection of the cutlery, do the monitoring and evaluation to coaching and training and the need of local regulations governing cleanliness of food stalls in the port authority. Keywords: the Health of Cutlery, Knowledge, Behavior, Practic
Pengaruh Konseling Gizi terhadap Pengetahuan dan Pola Asuh Ibu Balita Gizi Kurang di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Rapak Mahang Tenggarong
Nutritional deficiency in children under five years old can affect their brain development. At the national level, the percentage of nutritional deficiency-malnutrition cases in 2013 reached 19.3 %. This research aimed to find out the effect of nutrition counseling on the knowledge and parenting of the mothers of with nutritional deficiency in the operational area of Puskesmas Rapak Mahang. The method used in this research was quasi experiment with nonequivalent control group design. In this research used 30 respondents for experiment and control group. The method for determined respondent was nonprobability sampling with accidental sampling, The instrument that used in this research was questionnaire. The data were analyzed by using statistical analysis of Wilcoxon at the significance level of 0.05. The result of statistical analysis showed that there was an effect of nutrition counseling on the knowledge about nutrition (p value = 0.001) and there was an effect of nutrition counseling on the parenting of the mothers in the experimental group (p value = 0.001). It is suggested that nutrition counseling be given at Posyandu (Integrated Service Post) so that the mothers of Balita who do not visit the Puskesmas will get nutrition counseling
The Difference in Nutritional Intake and Physical Activity to Nutritional Status in Adolescents
Background: Nutritional problems in adolescents are characterized by overweight or obesity. Being overweight is affected by an imbalance in nutrient intake and physical activity in adolescents. Purpose: This study aims to determine differences in nutrient intake and physical activity on nutritional status in adolescents. Methods: This type of research uses a cross-sectional design. Subjects were 94 students with a purposive sampling technique with a sample of 94 students. Collecting data on nutritional intake using food 2x24 hour recall and physical activity was measured using Adolescent Physical Activity Questionnaire (APAQ). Analysis of statistical data using the Independent Sample Test and the Mann -Whitney Test. Results: The results showed that there was a meaningful difference in nutritional intake (protein, carbohydrates, fiber) between normal nutritional status and more nutritional status in adolescents with value (p<0.05), but there was no meaningful difference in nutritional intake (energy, fat) and physical activity between normal nutritional status and more nutritional status in adolescents with value (p> 0.05). Conclusion: It can be concluded that there is a difference in the intake of nutrients (protein, carbohydrates, and fiber) to the nutritional status in adolescents. Furthermore, there was no difference in nutritional intake (energy and fat) and physical activity to nutritional status in adolescents. Adolescents should pay attention to nutritional status early by paying attention to nutritional intake through diet and still doing physical activity to avoid nutritional problems that will impact non-communicable diseases
Community Empowerment in Providing Local Supplementary Feeding for Pregnant Women With CED at Puskesmas Bengkuring, Samarinda
Chronic Energy Deficiency (CED) in pregnant women remains a pressing nutritional issue in Indonesia, particularly in Samarinda City. This community program aimed to improve the nutritional status of pregnant women with or at risk of CED through the provision of local food-based supplementary feeding (PMT) and the empowerment of community health cadres. The intervention took place at Bengkuring Health Center from April to December 2024, targeting 40 pregnant women. Activities included cadre training, preparation of nutritious local meals, and monitoring of Body Mass Index (BMI) before and after the intervention. Results indicated a significant increase in average BMI (p < 0.05), although the duration of PMT was not significantly associated with BMI improvement. The program successfully engaged the community in health-focused food preparation and raised awareness among pregnant women about the importance of maternal nutrition. These findings support the effectiveness of local PMT as a tool for both nutritional intervention and sustainable community empowerment. In the long term, such initiatives can help reduce the prevalence of CED and contribute to healthier pregnancy outcomes. Continued collaboration across sectors is essential to ensure the sustainability of this program
Penerapan Metode Double Distribution Dalam Penetapan Tarif Pelayanan Poli Gigi Di RS LNG Badak Bontang
Penetapan tarif layanan kesehatan yang tidak berbasis perhitungan biaya nyata dapat menyebabkan kerugian bagi rumah sakit atau membatasi akses masyarakat terhadap layanan. Di RS LNG Badak Bontang, tarif layanan Poli Gigi selama ini ditetapkan berdasarkan estimasi dan perbandingan dengan rumah sakit lain, bukan dari analisis biaya aktual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis struktur biaya dan menghitung unit cost layanan Poli Gigi sebagai dasar penetapan tarif yang lebih rasional dan berkelanjutan. Metode yang digunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan double distribution, menyesuaikan dengan keterbatasan data klinis yang tersedia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Total biaya operasional Poli Gigi mencapai Rp14,4 miliar, dengan 62,9% berupa biaya semi-variabel, didominasi gaji pegawai. Biaya tetap hanya 4,7%, dan variabel 32,5%, sebagian besar tercatat sebagai “operasional lainnya,” menunjukkan kelemahan pencatatan biaya rinci. Konsultasi dan asuhan keperawatan menyerap biaya besar karena volumenya tinggi, sementara tindakan seperti Pulp Capping memiliki unit cost tertinggi dan berisiko merugi. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar layanan masih menguntungkan dengan tarif internal (CRR >100%), namun berisiko rugi jika mengacu pada tarif lama sehingga RS memerlukan penyesuaian tarif berbasis biaya riil dan peningkatan efisiensi agar layanan berkelanjutan
