No full textPua Kumbu is the Iban traditional cloth that is used to decorate houses. Pua Kumbu is not just a blanket to the Iban of Sarawak but more appropriately simply called a cloth. It is a sacred ceremonial and ritual textile. The information about the textile is quite difficult to be obtained. At present the information is limited to small numbers Iban communities due to modernization. Furthermore, there are very few information provider and most of them are outdated or inactive. Mostly the information can be obtained from the website, book or blog. However, the web contents are not being updated for quite some time. The recent book of Pua Kumbu was published in July, 1998. Furthermore, there were several bloggers provide information about Pua Kumbu however most of them were inactive or some blog were open for invited readers. As a result, there are very limited information about Pua Kumbu can be obtained either from the web or hardcopies. This project provides means for preserve information and details about the fabric. The main function on this system is the collections of the fabric and the search technique. In this project there are two types of search techniques. There are general search technique and advance search technique. For general search technique, the result will be same as keyword search and for advance search technique the result will be from selection of category and position. This prototype system is able to select fabric from the database based on the characteristics that been choose by the user. Besides that, the selection of the fabric will be suitable to be display as the user chooses based on specific characteristics

Pembelajaran penjasorkes yang sering kali tidak sesuai dengan karateristik
murid membuat kreativitas anak menjadi terabaikan dan hasil pembelajaran
menjadi kurang maksimal. Maka perlu adanya modifikasi media pembelajaran
yang sesungguhnya. Permasalahan dan penelitian ini adalah “ Apakah
pembelajaran menggunakan modifikasi bola voli mini dapat meningkatkan hasil
belajar bola voli pada murid kelas V di SDN 027 Renggeang Kabupaten Polewali
Mandar? ” Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui meningkatnya hasil belajar
bola voli melalui modifikasi bola voli mini. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SDN
027 Renggeang Kabupaten Polewali Mandar, sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah
murid kelas V yang berjumlah 23 murid. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian
tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari dua siklus dimana setiap siklus terdiri dari 4 tahap
yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, observasi (pengamatan), dan refleksi.Teknik
pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan lembar observasi serta
angket/kuesioner yang digunakan untuk mengetahui pemahaman murid terhadap
materi bola voli.
Data hasil pengamatan siklus I dan II yaitu: unjuk kerja (psikomotor)
diperoleh hasil sebesar 62,71% dan 76,34% dengan kriteria baik. Data hasil
pengamatan sikap dan perilaku (afektif) adalah 56,34% dan 75,72% dengan
kriteria baik. Data hasil penilaian pemahaman murid (kognitif) sebesar 52,24%
dan 95,74% dengan kriteria sangat baik. Berdasarkan perbandingan hasil yang
dicapai antara siklus I dan siklus II, secara keseluruhan nilai yang diperoleh untuk
setiap aspek terdapat peningkatan.
Berdasarkan dari hasil penelitian diatas, disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran
dengan menggunakan modifikasi bola voli mini dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar
bola voli murid. Oleh karena itu diharapkan bagi murid dengan adanya modifikasi
permainan bola voli mini agar lebih semangat lagi mengikuti pembelajaran
penjasorkes, bagi guru penjasorkes di SDN 027 Renggeang dapat menggunakan
modifikasi bola voli mini dalam pembelajaran bola voli, menggunakan modifikasi
permainan bola voli mini sebagai alternatif pembelajaran penjasorkes, sebagai
sekolah juga diharapkan untuk meningkatkan sarana dan prasarana yang ada
sebagai penunjang dalam pembelajaran penjasorkes
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
No full textThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
PENGEMBANGAN APLIKASI “CALL JUPRI” JENIUS PRIVATE PEMANGGIL GURU LES PRIVAT KIMIA DI YOGYAKARTA
No full textSulitnya mencari guru les privat kimia dapat diatasi dengan menggunakan aplikasi berbasis web. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan aplikasi pencari guru les privat kimia dan menguji utilitas aplikasi tersebut.
Melalui penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development/R&D) dengan model System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), yang terdiri atas Requirements Analysis, Design, Development, Testing, dan Maintenance, telah berhasil dikembangkan produk aplikasi pencari guru les privat kimia, yang disebut dengan Call Jupri. Aplikasi ini dilengkapi dengan materi kimia Laju Reaksi (faktor yang memengaruhi laju reaksi), Reaksi Redoks (konsep reduksi oksidasi), dan Teori Domain Elektron (bentuk molekul), beserta soal-soalnya. Aplikasi divalidasi oleh empat peer reviewer dan satu ahli media. Kualitas produk dinilai lima reviewer (guru les) dan sepuluh murid les.
Menurut ahli media, guru les kimia, dan murid les, kualitas produk ini sangat baik pada aspek fisibilitas (kebermanfaatan, fungsionalitas, kelayakan, dan kemudahan), bahasa (mudah dimengerti dan komunikatif), dan kegrafikaan (kombinasi warna, desain, dan tipografi). Cara memesan guru menggunakan aplikasi “Call Jupri” ini dengan membuat akun terlebih dahulu kemudian login, cari guru, pilih guru sesuai kriteria (jarak terdekat dan track record), pesan, tunggu guru datang, dan beri penilaian. Cara menggunakan aplikasi ini dengan memesan guru melalui dashboard pada aplikasi yang disediakan, mempelajari materi kimia melalui menu materi, dan mengerjakan latihan soal melalui menu latihan soal. Cara menggunakan aplikasi untuk peran guru yaitu membuat akun, login, aktifkan lokasi, terima pesanan, menjalankan pesanan (datang kerumah siswa), dan selesaikan pesanan.

No full text“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
No full textWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Determinants of financial distress: evidence from listed PN17 companies in Bursa Malaysia / Hafizah Mohd Jupri
No full textMajority of the researchers used formulas and existed models in order to measure the financial distress of the firm. However, small number of them find out how financial
performance of firms can be affected by financial distress. This study will investigate the impact of financial distress on financial performance towards the listed companies in PN17 by using financial ratios as the indicator. Hence, a panel data analysis of 16 listed Practice Note 17 companies in Bursa Malaysia from 2011 to 2015 periods (5 years) has been used in this study. This study uses five financial ratios as independent variables which are debt ratio, working capital turnover, total assets turnover, current ratio and quick ratio. The dependent variables of this study is return on assets.
Panel regression analysis was used to recognize the most optimal financial ratios towards the return on assets. The findings of this paper designate that the working capital turnover and total assets turnover is the two variables that significantly show a negative and positive relationship with return on assets respectively. This paper argues that debt ratio, current ratio and quick ratio are less important in determining the return on assets in the financial performance of the financial distress’s firms
Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
No full textWe conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more
