Comparative analysis of models of sports development management on example of football industry: international experience and russian peculiarities

    No full text
The organizational and economic aspects of modern sports development models is considered in the article. The analysis of foreign models such as American and European in comparison with Russian model is conducted. The peculiarities of some modifications adopted in some countries of Asia and Africa are discussed. American model which is mostly based on broadcasting is justified. In the case, broadcasting serves as a key source of finance as well being a powerful lever of influence on professional sports. Besides, American model is likely to pay an additional attention to legal protection of sportsmen and the support of professional union movement. As opposed to American model, European model’s peculiarity is financial support of sponsors and city councils. The mentioned above analysis indicated that the variant of model applied in Russia varies sufficiently from the American model and to a lesser extent from a European one. The author suggests possible directions of Russian football industry’s effectiveness and efficiency improvement which are: foundation of a unified center of management that would be in charge of professional football, increase of internal competition in Russian Football Premier League achieving both commercial and sports results. The need of designing a transparent program of collaboration among broadcasting companies and Russian Football Union is indicated. The program intends to be an understandable mechanism of gaining reasonable income from translating football on the internet and TV and fair sharing of the income among the involved participants

Managing football infrastructure objects after World Cup 2018: foreign experience and Russian perspectives

    No full text
In the article managerial and financial aspects of holding FIFA (фр. Fеdеration Internationale de Football Association) World Cup 2018 in Russia are disclosed. Foreign experience was analyzed, in particular, outstanding characteristics of holding FIFA World Cups in Brazil 2014. While having prepared for the World Cup 2014, Brazil spent almost 3 bln USD on building new stadiums and restructuring of existing ones. However, no attention was paid to remoteness of the arenas to popular football clubs’ locations, which led to serious problems with match - attendance and huge financial loses. Based on the analysis of Russian experience the need of complex approach to management of sports infrastructure objects as well as the development of a long-term development program on the part of federal and municipal regulatory bodies was identified and justified. This document is expected to reflect specific economic and legislative guidelines of stand-alone governmental structures. On the ground of the carried out survey, potential directions of subsequent utilization of sports infrastructure objects were formulated by the author which should be included into three groups. Sports-oriented exploitation implicates direct use of the objects in the capacity of arenas for conducting football matches and other competitions as well as other sports competitions (for instance, hockey, basketball, boxing and others). Commercial use supposes lease of territories and premises of the stadium. Culturally recreational use is about holding exhibitions, concerts, forums and conferences as well as citywide festivals, corporate and public events. Combination of mentioned above variants of use is possible

In the article we deal with the collection of the “Leters…” by N.M. Karamzin analyzing them in context of the Russian and world literary genre tradition. The mentioned collection is thought of as some source of motivation inspiring the writer in his work with “The History of the Russian State”. A special attention is paid not only to the connection of Karamzin’s letters with epistolary intercourse by Sh.M. Djupati, but also with the narrative by K.F. Moriz and the Russian national tradition, the dawn of which is connected with the figure of D.I. Fonvizin and which was accepted as naitive one and greatly enriched by F.M. Dostoevsky. The author comes to the conclusion that international and inter-state relations is a topic which has become eternal in the sphere of art by the XXI-st century and which will always be up-to-date; a special portrait painting technology including the usage of national and comparative characteristics, the wide and multifunctional colour range as well as the symbiosis of various genre form does underline the importance of the “Leters…” by N.M. Karamzin in the development not only Russian, but world literature as well. The polymorphic and regional character of the named collection inspires the usage of the philological regionalistics methodology and all of its possibilities while analyzing “local images” in the mentioned literary wor

Технология дополненной реальности в библиотечной практике

The article considers technology of augmented reality (AR) — the imposition of digital data on real objects in real time. The aim of the article is to analyse the modification of forms and methods of library work under the influence of active implementation of AR-technology. The author notes that the interactive potential of augmented reality interfaces is increasingly being used abroad for navigation within libraries, search for necessary literature in book depositories, for tracking the movement of books and providing users with extended textual and audio-visual information. The article discusses various forms of application of AR-technologies in library practice abroad: supplementing exhibitions and expositions with audio-visual and textual information; use of QR (Quick response) codes and RFID (Radio frequency identification) tags to facilitate access to online information, development of computer games for orientation in the library space, modernization of management of library collections, etc. The author describes the use of radio-frequency tags with special elements (RFID station) for personalized assistance to readers, optimization of social relations, so familiar to modern readers who are able to specify their location, leave a message to friends or staff, etc. Such a wide application of AR-technology in the library makes it a fragment of a “smart city”, convenient intellectual environment with a light transition membrane from offline to online.Among library mobile applications as the fastest growing sphere of library services providing online access to catalogue, databases, interlibrary lending, chat rooms, SMS services, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, etc. accounts, the share of AR applications using QR codes and RFID tags is constantly growing. The use of augmented reality devices in libraries opens up new horizons in terms of introduction of modern methods of informatization of knowledge and user services, adequate to the era of comprehensive computerization, the ubiquitous “Internet of things”.
