Development of ASTRI high-temperature solar receivers
No full textThree high-temperature solar receiver design concepts are being evaluated as part of the Australian Solar Thermal Research Initiative (ASTRI): a flux-optimised sodium receiver, a falling particle receiver, and an expanding-vortex particle receiver. Preliminary results from performance modelling of each concept are presented. For the falling particle receiver, it is shown how particle size and flow rate have a significant influence on absorptance. For the vortex receiver, methods to reduce particle deposition on the window and increase particle residence time are discussed. For the sodium receiver, the methodology for geometry optimisation is discussed, as well as practical constraints relating to containment material
PREDICTION OF RESIDENTIAL AREA DEVELOPMENT IN LEMBANG DISTRICT IN 2028 USING NEAREST NEIGHBOR ANALYSIS AND CELLULAR AUTOMATA-LOGISTIC REGRESSION
No full textPopulation increase and swift growth in the Lembang District have led to considerable effects on land use alterations and a decline in vegetation. As a result, this research seeks to examine: 1) changes in land use in Lembang District in 2008-2023, 2) predictions of residential area development, 3) predictions of settlement development patterns. The approach applied involves Nearest Neighbor Analysis to examine the trends and pathways of regional growth in Lembang District, along with the Cellular Automata-Logistic Regression model utilized for forecasting shifts in land utilization in Lembang District. Findings from the investigation into land use alterations reveal transformations from agricultural areas to residential zones, with a total change area of 292.67 Ha and changes in dry fields/fields to plantations covering an area of 562.57 Ha. Then the prediction of settlement development in 2028 increased by 123.62 Ha or increased by around 8% with a kappa correction validation result of 97%. Based on the outcomes of the settlement forecast, a study was conducted on the settlement distribution trend. The findings from this study indicate that the anticipated settlement distribution trend that settlements form a clustered pattern

HUBUNGAN PENERAPAN STRATEGI PROBLEM BASED LEARNING DENGAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMETIKA
No full textThe purpose of this research was to determine the extent of the relationship between the implementation of problem based learning strategy with learning result in mathematics. The research method that used was correlation with the application of problem based learning strategy were independent variables and mathematics learning outcomes as the dependent variable. Data collecting instrument of research using questionnaires and test items. Data were analyzed using quantitative analysis. The results showed that there was a significant correlation in the application of problem based learning strategy with mathematics learning result. This is indicated by the value of r xy = 0.416 which is in the category "Medium" and a significance level of 2.24. The coefficient determinant is 0.1730, the effective contribution given independent variable of 17.3056% and 82.694% is influenced by other variables.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sejauh mana hubungan penerapan strategi problem based learning dengan hasil belajar matematika. Metode penelitian adalah penelitian korelasi, dengan penerapan strategi problem based learning sebagai variabel bebas dan hasil belajar matematika sebagai variabel terikat. Alat pengumpul data penelitian menggunakan angket dan soal tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan dalam penerapan strategi problem based learning dengan hasil belajar matematika. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan nilai rxy = 0,416 yang berada pada kategori Sedang dan taraf signifikansi sebesar 2,24. Besarnya koefisien determinan yaitu 0,1730, sumbangan efektif yang diberikan variabel bebas sebesar 17,3056 % dan 82,694 % lainnya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lainnya.Kata kunci: hasil belajar, matematika, problem based learning
ANALISIS KEGIATAN EKSTRAKURIKULER DRUMBAND DALAM MEMBENTUK KARAKTER TANGGUNG JAWAB SISWA DI SEKOLAH DASAR
No full textPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kegiatan ekstrakurikuler drumband dalam mem-bentuk karakter tanggung jawab siswa di SDN Pakujajar CBM. Metodologi penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu guru pembina, empat pelatih, dan dua siswa melalui instrumen berupa peneliti sendiri, observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Pengumpulan data dengan mendeskripsikan hasil temuan di lapangan menggunakan teknik analisis data dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil yang ditemukan oleh penulis adalah karakter tanggung jawab siswa dapat dibentuk melalui pelaksanaan dengan strategi kegiatan seperti komitmen, penanaman kedisiplinan, pembiasaan, keteladanan dan evaluasi dalam kegiatan latihan drumband oleh pelatih. Para siswa yang tergabung menjadi anggota tim drumband “Gitaswara Pakujajar” 1) dapat memenuhi kewajiban diri untuk memberikan kepedulian dan kedisiplinan terhadap alat musik drumband yang digunakan, 2) dapat di-percaya dengan konsisten belajar mandiri untuk meningkatkan kelebihan, 3) dapat men-gontrol diri sendiri untuk memberikan penampilan yang maksimal, 4) gigih saat kegiatan latihan dilaksanakan, 5) persiapkan diri untuk menjadi yang terbaik dengan selalu berko-mitmen terhadap waktu, 6) disiplin diri dalam menaati dan menghormati perintah pelatih, 7) dan dapat bekerja sama dengan teman satu tim untuk mencapai tujuan bersama

No full textPertumbuhan penduduk dan pembangunan bertambah pesat di Kecamatan Lembang menyebabkan dampak signifikan terhadap perubahan penggunaan tanah dan penurunan jumlah vegetasi. Oleh karena itu, studi ini bertujuan untuk melakukan analisis terhadap: 1) modifikasi penggunaan lahan di Kecamatan Lembang dari tahun 2008 hingga 2023, 2) proyeksi pertumbuhan area hunian, 3) estimasi pola pertumbuhan hunian. Metode yang diterapkan adalah Analisis Tetangga Terdekat untuk mengevaluasi pola serta arah perkembangan di Kecamatan Lembang, dan model Cellular Automata-Logistic Regression yang digunakan untuk memprediksi perubahan penggunaan lahan di Kecamatan Lembang. Hasil penelitian perubahan penggunaan lahan menunjukan perubahan perkebunan menjadi permukiman dengan luas perubahan seluas 292,67 Ha dan perubahan tegalan/ladang menjadi perkebunan seluas 562,57 Ha. Kemudian prediksi perkembangan permukiman pada tahun 2028 bertambah seluas 123,62 Ha atau bertambah sekitar 8% dengan hasil validasi kappa koreksi sebesar 97%. Dari hasil prediksi permukiman tersebut, lalu dilakukan analisis pola sebaran permukiman. Hasil analisis tersebut menunjukan prediksi pola sebaran permukiman tahun 2028 menunjukan nilai Z-Score -8,652370, dimana nilai tersebut lebih dari dari -2,58 yang artinya permukiman membentuk pola mengelompok.

No full textAbstract: This study aims to determine the effect of employees' Environmentally-Friendly, work environment, employee performance, and job satisfaction. The research was carried out during the 2021 Covid-19 pandemic. The research subject was 65 employees who worked at the Bali Design and Business Institute. Inferential evaluation on this examination makes use of the SEM PLS model and is processed with Smart PLS version 3.2.8 to evaluate the research model. The results showed, based on the results of the direct and indirect effects tests, it can be concluded that by testing the direct effects, all the proposed hypotheses can be retained, that is to say that there is a positive influence between respect for the environment of employees on employee performance and job Satisfaction.

By reflecting on her experiences as a Master’s student in the United States and high school teacher in Indonesia, the author unpacks her journey on becoming a feminist teacher. The author argues for the need of a feminist lens to understand the White supremacist heteropatriarchal capitalist system that is also infused in United States educational system.
