Implementation of Participatory Development in Tarung-Tarung Nagari, Rao District, Pasaman Regency
This article aims to analyze the implementation of participatory development in Nagari Tarung-Tarung, Rao District, Pasaman Regency. The problem is focused on participatory development. The data were collected by means of observation, interviews, Focus Group Discussion (FGD), and documentation and analyzed qualitatively. This study concludes that: The implementation of participatory development in Nagari Tarung-Tarung, Rao District, Pasaman Regency consists of three components: (a) Planning, (b) implementation, and (c) evaluation/monitoring. In these three stages, development is focused on building physical infrastructure, such as road construction, irrigation development, and road paving. However, what is planned is often not on target in implementation, so that community participation in Nagari development is not good due to the lack of public trust in the government, so that planning the Musrenbang until the implementation stage is not achieving the target, as well as the Nagari government in the implementation of development does not pay attention to the aspirations of the community by meeting mutual attitudes. believe. Only a part of the community gave aspirations. This means that community support for development in Nagari Tarung-Tarung is very small, this is marked by the lack of transparency from the Nagari government so that people are not so enthusiastic about development, there is an impression of apathy and leave everything to the government
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Internalization Of Character Values Through The Tahfizh Programs at Junior High 6 Gunung Talang Solok Regency
This article explains Internalization Of Character Values Through The Tahfizh Programs at Junior High 6 Gunung Talang Solok Regency. The theory used to analyze these findings is vygostsky's theory of the stages of intrapsychology and interpsychology of children's cognitive development. According to Vygotsky, the relationship between humans (Interpsychology) will affect the formation of children's identity or personality (Intrapsychology). This study uses a qualitative approach to the type of case study research. Informant selection technique with purposive sampling. Total informants were 47 people. Data is collected by interviews, observation and documentation. Data were analyzed by the interactive analysis techniques of Miles and Huberman (interactive analysis models), namely data reduction, data models and conclusions. The results of the study revealed that through the Tahfizh routine (Reciting the Alquran) there was reciprocal interaction between counselors and students (Interpsychology) who instilled religious values, hard work, discipline, honesty, and responsibility. The results of these interactions can be seen from the noble character possessed by students who are hafiz quran (Intrapsychology)
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Finally, we show by means of an example that our findings have a high practical relevance.information science;Pearson correlation;cosine;similarity measure;author cocitation analysis
Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more
sophisticated methods
Value-based Blended Learning Model for Strengthening Students’ Character
In the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, blended learning must focus on strengthening students' character, in addition to building their knowledge and skills. To achieve this goal, it is essential to develop a blended learning model that is based on values. This study aims to describe the value-based blended learning model and its effect on strengthening student character. We used Borg and Gall's Research and Development method for our research, which involved a total of 265 university students enrolled in Pancasila and Civic Education courses at Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, Universitas Sebelas Maret, dan Universitas Negeri Padang. Data were collected using interviews, questionnaires, and attitude scales and analyzed using qualitative interactive, quantitative descriptive and correlation-regression analysis. The results revealed that (1) the value-based blended learning model for character strengthening was carried out by integrating characters at all combinations, all stages of learning, and on all components of learning, habituation, role models, rules, rewards and punishment systems; 2) most students perceive very well the implementation of value-based blended learning in Pancasila and civics education courses; and 3) most of the students showed very good character. The dominant characteristics developed in value-based blended learning were critical thinking, creative and innovative thinking, independence, collaboration, hard work, digital literacy, democracy, religiosity, peace, responsibility, and tolerance. (3) The application of value-based blended learning has an effect of 50.8% on strengthening student character. Therefore, value-based blended learning should be implemented to strengthen student character
