ВАСИЛЬ РЕГЕЙ (1915–1996): ЖИТТЯ ТА ДІЯЛЬНІСТЬ В УМОВАХ ТОТАЛІТАРНИХ РЕЖИМІВ
Get PDFThe biography of Vasyl Ivanovych Rehei (1915–1996) is completely reconstructed in the article on the basis of unknown documents and materials, memoirs and scientific literature. The whole life of Vasyl Ivanovych Rehei can be divided into several stages: 1) 1915–1939 – childhood and adolescence, education at a seven-year school, German gymnasium (Stanislaviv), Warsaw Josyf Pilsudski University; 2) 1939–1944 – participation in the Ukrainian liberation movement – a deputy county leader of Sanok district (with simultaneous service), a member of the Southern OUN marching group, a leader of Dnipropetrovsk regional leadership of the OUN, at the same time teaching; 3) 1944–1946 – service in the Soviet army; 4) 1946–1951 – scientific and pedagogical work at Drohobych Pedagogical Institute; 5) 1951–1957 – arrest, investigation, serving a sentence in correctional labor camps; 6) 1957–1978 – work at the sawmill in the village of Vihorovka; 7) 1978–1996 – pension, return to Frankivsk region, active participation in public and political life. The research methodology is based on the principles of historicism, scientificity, systematics. Biographical and prosopographic approaches are used in the work. In addition, the authors used general scientific (analysis, synthesis, generalization) and special-historical (historical-genetic, historical-typological, historical-systemic, documentary heuristics) methods.

Запропоновано увесь життєвий шлях Василя Івановича Регея можна поділити на декілька етапів: 1) 1915–1939 рр. – дитячі та юнацькі роки, навчання у семилітній школі, німецькій гімназії (м. Станиславів), Варшавському університеті імені Йосифа Пілсудського; 2) 1939–1944 рр. – участь в українському визвольному русі – заступник повітового провідника Сяноцького повіту (із одночасним обслуговуванням міста), учасник Південної похідної групи ОУН, провідник Дніпропетровського обласного проводу ОУН, водночас вчителювання; 3) 1944–1946 рр. – служба у радянській армії; 4) 1946–1951 рр. – науково-педагогічна праця у Дрогобицькому вчительському інституті; 5) 1951–1957 рр. – арешт, слідство, відбування покарання у виправно-трудових таборах; 6) 1957–1978 рр. – робота на лісопильному заводі с. Віхоровка; 7) 1978–1996 рр. – пенсія, повернення на Франківщину, активна участь у громадсько-політичному житті.
Методологія дослідження ґрунтується на принципах історизму, науковості, системності. У роботі використано біографічний та просопографічний підходи. Окрім цього автори застосували загальнонаукові (аналіз, синтез, узагальнення) та спеціально-історичні (історико-генетичний, історико-типологічний, історико-системний, документальної евристики) методи.

The Poetics of the Novella in Correlation to Vasyl Stefanyk's Artistic Vision

It is argued that the writer’s modernist aesthetic experience left its imprint on his literary works. The author concludes that the writer’s artistic vision followed a dynamic course of development correlating with the poetics of the novella and enriching the stylistic color scheme of his narrative prose

Основна увага зосереджується на з’ясуванні специфіки структурно-семантичної організації обов’язкових мікротем рецензії, зокрема, “Автор книги”, “Достоїнства видання” та “Недоліки книги”. Встановлено, що факультативними міні-темами рецензій є “Адресат”, “Побажання автору, читачам”, “Поради читачеві”. (The article deals with the explication of individual-author and traditional aspects in literary reviews by Vasyl Slapchuk. The main attention is paid to finding out the specificity of the structural and semantic organization of the obligatory microthemes of the review, in particular, “The author of the book”, “The merits of the book” and “The drawbacks of the book”. We have come to the conclusion that such review’s microthemes as “The addressee”, “The wishes to the author and to the reader” and “The advices” have the facultative character)

Not so long ago this outstanding short-story writer was completely unknown to a wide range of readers. Today his memory is being laboriously restored. His artistic profile, personal features, and his surrounding’s attitude to the author may be described to readers thanks to the recent interviews with his close relatives and the residents of his home village and region. Memories of the people who met Vasyl Tkachuk or remember him from their relatives’ stories prove the writer’s exceptional nature and his writing career, which was stopped by his death
