    Developing Guidebook of Sexual Violence Prevention and Control in Universitas Ahmad Dahlan

    Higher education should be a safe and comfortable place for students to receive education. However, in reality, many cases of sexual violence occur in the university environment. Many victims of sexual violence do not dare to report the incident to the authorities. Meanwhile, some victims who have reported their cases have not received a resolution to the problems they complained about. Based on the results of a student needs survey, as many as 64.7% of students need a guidebook for preventing and controlling sexual violence. Based on the survey results, the author aims to research and develop a guidebook for preventing and controlling sexual violence. After going through four stages of R&D 4D model, this guidebook contains the background, scope, juridical and empirical studies, and mechanisms for preventing and controlling sexual violence. Based on the results of media expert validation tests, this book obtained an Index Aiken’s V Coefficient of 0.81 which is in the high category. Meanwhile, the results of material expert validation tests show that the Index Aiken’s V Coefficient of this book is 0.83, which is also included in the high category. This guidebook will be used as a reference in realizing efforts to prevent and overcome sexual violence in the higher education environment, especially at Universitas Ahmad Dahlan

    Dahlan Iskan is a national figure who has contributed to advancing the Indonesian state. Dahlan Iskan is known to the wider community as a former CEO of the Javanese newspaper Pos Grub, President Director of PLN and has also been one of the State Ministers of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN). He is someone who should be emulated and exemplified by everyone, especially for the younger generation, especially in his character from his life journey in fighting for the advancement of the Indonesian state. The author uses the method in making this article is the library research method and historical research methods. The library research method is a series of activities related to the library data collection method (Mahmud, 2011: 31). In addition, the author also uses the historical research method which includes several series of steps in the form of the Heuristic method, source criticism, analysis and interpretation, and historiography. This article contains a biographical history of an Indonesian figure named Dahlan Iskan with the formulation of problems regarding the life history of Dahlan Iskan, how the history of the progress of BUMN and Indonesian newspapers by Dahlan Iskan, and how the character of discipline, hard work, and never giving up is owned by Dahlan Iskan. . The research of making this article aims to describe or analyze and get an overview of the character values ​​possessed by the character Dahlan Iskan in a novel written by Sholihin Hidayat.     Implementation of KH Ahmad Dahlan's educational thoughts in the merdeka curriculum

    This research aims to see how the thoughts of KH Ahmad Dahlan are implemented in the kurikulum merdeka that is being promoted by the government through KEMDIKBUDRISTEK. The research method used is a literature review where the author collects data on the educational thoughts of KH Ahmad Dahlan, independent curriculum and discusses how it is implemented. The results of the study show that the thoughts of KH Ahmad Dahlan are implemented in the independent curriculum in several aspects including: in the education system, namely the integration of religious and Scientific knowledge curricula, in the aspect of educational goals, namely the formation of students who are religiously knowledgeable and intelligent in insight and scientific views which are reflected in the Pancasila student profile, in terms of technical implementation, namely indications of pending development of educational implementation, in terms of learning methods namely contextual learning which is reflected in intracurricular and cocurricular learning models on independent curriculum. In addition to these four aspects, both KH Ahmad Dahlan and the concept of independent curriculum focus on developing students both individually and socially. The implication of this research is the formation of educational institutions that truly become an answer to the needs of students in facing the development of time, not just schools as a formality to get a diploma. As for educators, they should be more open-minded so that they are ready to develop and ready to become a solution for student development

    This research intents to describe the plot and the characterization in novel Sepatu Dahlan by Khrisna Pabichara's and its implication to Indonesian learning at senior high school. The research method that is used is descriptive qualitative method. Data source in this research is come from Sepatu Dahlan novel by Khrisna Pabichara's. From the result analisis, plot of Sepatu Dahlan novel obtained events which supports the formation of a plot. The events are divided into several stages of plot so it can be know that the plot of the Sepatu Dahlan novel isthe combine plot. Chracterization in the Sepatu Dahlan novel using both methods, but showing method tends to be more widely used by the author in describing the characters. Sepatu Dahlan novel by Krishna Pabichara can be usedas an alternative instructional materials in senior high school literature.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaluran dan penokohan dalam novel Sepatu Dahlan karya Khrisna Pabichara serta implikasinya terhadap pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di SMA. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini yaitu novel Sepatu Dahlan karya Khrisna Pabichara.Dari hasil analisis, pengaluran dalam novel Sepatu Dahlan diperoleh peristiwa-peritiwa yang mendukung terbentuknya suatu alur. Peristiwa-peristiwa tersebut terbagi menjadi beberapa tahap alur, sehingga dapat diketahui alur pada novel Sepatu Dahlan adalah alur gabungan.Penokohan pada novel Sepatu Dahlan menggunakan kedua metode, tetapi metode showing cenderung lebih banyak digunakan oleh pengarang dalam menggambarkan watak tokoh.Novel Sepatu Dahlan karya Khrisna Pabichara dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif bahan pembelajaran sastra di SMA.Kata kunci: novel sepatu dahlan, pengaluran, penokohan

    This study aims to describe Dahlan Iskan style of writing in Column Manufacturing Hope Sumut Pos. This type of research is qualitative research with descriptive method. The object of this research is column in Sumut Pos written by Dahlan Iskan at the date of 6,13, and 20 may 2013. Data collection techniques are documentation. the results of this study is Dahlan Iskan Style of writing in column manufacturing Hope Sumut Pos (1) based on how the author expresses his attitude is people who know everything (using my pronoun) and (2) based on the variety of languages is less formal language and literary variety. Based on writing style then it can be seen that Dahlan Iskan is an all-knowing person, a person who reflects on the past, and Dahlan Iskan is a person who always uses good and proper Indonesian in accordance with the context and situation so that Dahlan Iskan is someone who has a relaxed attitude and not rigid, and Dahlan Iskan including people who often use the style of language in writing, for example using personification, irony, hyperbole, and metaphor

    AbstrakTujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mendapatkan pemahaman yang mendalam tentang pendeskripsian kualitas pilihan leksikal pada novel Sepatu Dahlan karya Khrisna Pabichara yang mencakup pemanfaatan kosa kata bahasa Jawa, pemanfaatan kiasan/majas, dan hubungan leksikal dengan unsur tema. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kombinasi antara metode deskriptif analisis dengan metode hermeneutika. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah pilihan leksikal pada novel Sepatu Dahlan karya Khrisna Pabichara yang didapat dari hasil analisis pengkaji. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah novel Sepatu Dahlan karya Khrisna Pabichara yang diterbitkan oleh Neura Books tahun 2012 dengan jumlah 369 halaman. Teknik pemeriksaan keabsahan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah perpanjangan keikutsertaan, ketekunan pengamatan, uraian rinci/transferability, pemeriksaan teman sejawat, auditing/dependability, dan Konfirmability. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa pilihan leksikal yang terdapat dalam novel Sepatu Dahlan karya Khrisna Pabichara adalah leksikal yang berhubungan dengan gaya bahasa kiasan/majas, yang terdiri dari gaya bahasa eufimismus, litotes, pleonasme, hiperbola, persamaan/simile, metafora, personifikasi, metonimia, dan ironi. Selain itu, juga terdapat leksikal yang berbentuk kosa kata bahasa Jawa. Novel ini dapat dijadikan inspirasi bagi generasi muda agar tetap gigih dalam menuntut ilmu pendidikan walaupun masalah ekonomi yang lemah.Kata kunci: Leksikal, NovelAbstracThe purpose of this research is to gain a deep understanding of the description quality lexical choice of the novel Sepatu Dahlan by Krishna Pabichara that includes the use of the Java language vocabulary, use of figurative/figure of speech, and lexical relations with elements of the theme. The method used in this study is a combination of descriptive analysis method with hermeneutic methods. The data in this research is lexical selection in the novel Sepatu Dahlan by Krishna Pabichara obtained from analysis of the reviewer. Sources of data in this study is novel Sepatu Dahlan by Krishna Pabichara published by Neura Books in 2012 with a number of 369 pages. Mechanical examination of the validity of the data used in this study were the extension of participation, persistence of observations, transferability, examination of peers, auditing/ dependability, and Konfirmability. Based on the results of research and discussion can be concluded that the choice of lexical contained in the novel Krishna Pabichara Shoes Dahlan is lexical associated with the style of figurative language/figure of speech, which is comprised of style eufimismus, litotes, redundancy, hyperbole, equality/simile, metaphor, personification , metonymy, and irony. In addition, there is also a lexical form of Java language vocabulary. This novel will be an inspiration for the younger generation in order to remain persistent in demanding science education despite weak economic problems. However, this novel has a weakness because of the Java language vocabulary which the author does not make sense or a translation of that vocabulary.Keywords: Lexical, Nove

    The goal of this study is to develop Islamic education through a series of studies on the thinking of K.H. Ahmad Dahlan and K.H. Hasyim Asy’ari about Islamic education. The author brings back the thoughts of the two figures, because both are wellknown icons of thousands of Muslim intellectual figures, whose lives are preoccupied to fight for Islamic education. On this basis the author later raised the title of a comparative study of K.H's thought. Ahmad Dahlan and K.H. Hasyim Asy'ari about Islamic education. Belong to that basis the title of a comparative study through the through of K.H. Ahmad Dahlan and K.H. Hasyim Asy’ari about Islamic education. The author hope that he conception of Islamic education offered by the two figures is able to inspire elements of education implementers. The focus of the problem in this study is (1) Islamic education thinking according to K.H. Ahamd Dahlan, (2) Islamic education thought according to K.H. Hasyim Asy'ari, and (3) Comparative thinking of K.H. Ahmad Dahlan and K.H. Hasyim Asy’ari about Islamic education This reseachuses a descriptive qualitative approach to the type of library research. Data collection is done by exploring the sources of literature conducted in three stages, namely orientation, exploration, and focused research phase. Data analysis techniques include determining the theme, looking for a logical relationship between the thoughts of the character in various fields so that reasons can be found regarding these thoughts, classifying, looking for generalizations of specific ideas. The results showed that: (1) K.H. Ahmad Dahlan tried to make a new breakthrough by creating schools that integrate religious studies and general subjects at the same time, so that they are expected to become "intellectual scholars and intellectual scholars". (2) K.H. Hasyim Asy'ari taught the religious sciences, Arabic, and included general subjects such as mathematics and earth sciences, from the low to the high levels, as evidenced by the construction of the Tebuireng Islamic Boarding School which produced great scholars. (3) The concept of education produced by the two figures is agreed that the basis or foundation of Islamic education must return to the primary sources of Muslims, namely the Qur'an and Hadith, while the differences seen from the two figures are about the objectives, curriculum, methods and evaluation of Islamic education.     Boosting Students’ Writing Competency Using Writing Workshop

    This study explores the implementation of writing workshop towards beginner college students of Universitas Ahmad Dahlan. Writing workshop known as the instruction focuses on the goal of fostering lifelong writers and it is designed with different developmental and curricular needs. There are four principles of writing workshop, (1) students will write about their own lives, (2) students will use a consistent writing process, (3) students will work in authentic ways, (4) students will be able to encourage themselves in writing independently. The writing workshop may help students to find their “voice†in writing with less interference from the lecturer. Normally applied in elementary level, writing workshop is now adapted to be employed in higher education. It is become an important trail to facilitate the students in improving writing competency using continuous and integrated steps. This paper is an effort to share a down-to-earth idea of the implementation of writing workshop in higher education.This study exploits quantitative methods using students’ feedback as the data collection technique.  A questionnaire was designed and distributed to 120 university students in English Education Departement at Universitas Ahmad Dahlan. Results revealed that students' feedback of the implementation of writing workshop in the class for improving their writing skills were generally positive. Through writing workshop, the writing process becomes more attractive for students. To the lecturers, act as a mentor author, modeling writing techniques and conferring with students as they move through the writing process perceptions give a diverse point of view in improving students’ writing competency. Keywords: writing, writing workshop, college student

    Moral education in Indonesia is actually not something new in the life of Indonesian people. It can be said that from the beginning of independence until now, there have been many steps regarding moral education, although with a different name as character education. Moral education must not be separated from religious education and must be implemented in the practice of life. Therefore, students in order to have good morals must be supported by habituation of behavior and existence when in the environment. The motives of this research are to obtain answers from the research objectives, namely: (1) To describe the concept of morality in the view of K.H. Ahmad Dahlan. (2) To describe the Implementation of Morals in the view of K.H. Ahmad Dahlan at Birrul Walidain Middle School, Muhammadiyah Sragen. The type of research used in this research is Mixed Methods research. Then the approach used is a phenomenological approach and uses observation, documentation and interview data collection techniques. By using this data collection technique, it is hoped that you can get concrete data. Furthermore, in the technical analysis of data in this study using the method of content analysis (content analysis) and also the theory of analysis of Milles and Hubberman. The author found the findings that: the concept of morality in the view of K.H. Ahmad Dahlan is a conscious effort to make a human being have good ethics/behave by maximizing the mind and also based on a pure heart. The author also finds that there are 5 classifications, including morals towards God/Allah SWT, morality towards personal self, morality towards family, morality towards fellow human beings/society and morality towards the state. This view is derived from the main religious thought of K.H. Ahmad Dahlan which is based on the sources of Islamic law, namely the Qur'an and Sunnah as well as the actualization of leadership and behavior that is applied during life. The implementation of morality from the view of K.H. Ahmad Dahlan at Birrul Walidain Muhammadiyah Middle School, Sragen is said to be good and in line with his thoughts, because there is concrete evidence that school programs are also supported by teachers and implemented by students with these behaviors/personalities.
