    晚香玉單瓣栽培種(Polianthes tuberosa L . cv “Single”)單核期的花藥,接種於含有l ppm 2,4-D、3%蔗糖及0.8%洋菜之1/2 MS基本鹽類(Na-Fe-EDTA全量)培養基中,可獲得具有胚發生能力之癒合組織(embryogenic callus)。將此癒合組織移植於植物生長調節劑為0.2 ppm NAA及2 ppm kinetin 之1/2 MS 基本鹽類培養基,可獲得擬胚體及再生植株。所獲得35株之再生值株,據調查已開花8株之園藝性狀,顯示有花序增長、花蕾數增加、花徑變大、花瓣數變少、外花被呈粉紅色及葉片大小的差異,此變異或可供為改良晚香玉單瓣種花序短、花蕾數少及切花品質低等缺點之選拔材料。 Anthers of tuberose variety with single-petal flowers was used in this experiment for callus induction and plant regeneration. Anthers with microspores at uninucleate stage were cultured on medium of ½ strength MS basic salts (with full strength of Na-Fe-EDTA) supplemented with lppm 2, 4-D, 3% sucrose and 0.8% phytagar. The produced embryogenic callus was able to differentiate into embryoids and plantlets after transfering to medium containing 0.2ppm NAA and 2ppm kinetin. A total of 35 plant-lets were produced by the procedures described above. Among them, 8 plants grew to bloom showing significant variaton in various floral traits. These included inflorescence length, number of flower buds, flower size and color. It is suggested that the plants produced from tissue culture can be used as a source for varietal improvement

    Extending Protection at the WTO to Products Other Than Wines and Spirits: Who Will Benefit?

    The issue of extending geographic indicator protection to products other than wines and spirits has created wide divergences between demandeurs and opponent countries at the WTO. This article examines the economic impacts of the proposals submitted at the WTO by these two groups of countries, focusing mainly on market access, generic names and impacts for the consumer in North America. Results from our survey show that reducing tariff and non-tariff barriers in North America would be more important in improving market access for EU geographical indications (GIs) than would GI extension.     香水百合之鱗莖,剝去其外圍之鱗片,取約300~400μm含1對葉原體之莖頂,培養於含有0.2 ppm NAA AA、4 ppm BA、3%蔗糖及0.8%洋菜之Murashige and Skoog(1962)(MS)基本鹽類培養基中,經2個月的培養,可形成約1.5cm大小之原球體,此原球體培養於含有0.5ppm NAA、4 ppm BA、3%蔗糖及0.8%洋菜之MS基本鹽類培養基中可行原球體之增殖;而培養於含有0.2 ppm 2,4-D、0.5 ppm BA、3%蔗糖及0.8%洋菜之MS基本鹽類培養基中則可誘導植株形成。為了縮短幼苗生長時間,可將已長有0.2cm小芽之原球體,培養於含有0.1 ppm NAA,2 ppm BA、3%蔗糖之MS基本鹽類液體培養基中,7天內即可獲得鱗片葉6cm之幼苗,將此幼苗移殖於3%蔗糖及0.8%洋菜之MS基本鹽類之培養基中,經7天之生長即可誘導發根。此具有根系之幼苗移殖於泥炭苔等介質中,置於二層40─50%遮光網之簡易塑膠溫室中健化,健化期間以細霧式自動噴霧噴灑葉面,每30分鐘噴3─4秒,2週後去除一層遮光網;約經1個月後,即可將苗行2─5°C之低溫處理以打破休眠,再經1─1.5個月,即可移殖於田間行養球栽培。 Mass propagation of Oriental lily by shoot tip culture was developed for the purpose of accelerating the propagation rate and avoiding the transmission of virus. Bulb scales of “Casa Blanca” containing 1 pair of leaf primordia, measuring about 300-400 im in size, were excised from the bulb and cultrued. The composition of the medium was MS salts supplemented with 0.2 ppm NAA, 4 ppm BA, 3% sucrose and 0.8% phytagar. Protocorms about 1.5 cm in diameter could be produced after 2 months in culture. Significant proliferation of the protocorm could be observed by culturing in the same medium except the concentration of NAA was increased from 0.2 to 0.5 ppm. Plants regeneration could be induced if the protocorm were cultrued in medium contained 0.2 ppm 2, 4-D, 0.5 ppm BA, 3% sucrose, and 0.8% phytagar. To accelerate the growth rate of the regenerated seedlings, protocorms with buds about 0.2cm in length were transferred to liquid medium with 0.1 ppm NAA, 2 ppm BA, and 3% sucrose. The length of bulb scale leaves could reach 6 cm in 7 days under the culture conditions. Further culture of the seedlings in solid medium plus MS salts, 3% sucrose, and 0.8% phytagar promoted the differentiation of root system. The recommended lmonth hardening procedure of the seedlings included the use of peatmoss, 40-50% shading, and frequent mist-spray irrigation. The seedlings could then be treated with low temperature (2-5°C) for 1-1.5 months for breaking dormancy before transplanted to the field

Diante do resultado deste levantamento, são investigadas metodologias, técnicas e práticas destinadas à liderança de pessoas, que atendam as características de um ambiente simulado, com possibilidade de modelagem. Com base na pesquisa teórica foram feitas proposições de um processo e de técnicas de liderança de pessoas e o desenvolvimento de um novo módulo no jogo de empresas GI-Micro que possibilite aos participantes exercitar determinadas habilidades e competências relacionadas à função de líder nas organizações. A incorporação do novo módulo no GI-Micro busca atender a alguns requisitos básicos, tais como: - instigar nos participantes o uso eficaz da liderança no ambiente organizacional, desafiando-os a tomar decisões específicas que objetivam obter melhor performance de produtividade da mão de obra; - compatibilizar o ambiente do jogo ao exercício de ferramentas contemporâneas de avaliação de desempenho; - proporcionar aos participantes do jogo um ambiente de simulação empresarial com tarefas equilibradas e atualizadas às boas práticas da gestão empresarial

Existing Digital Information Display(DID) solution has trouble problems with low-quality image, low-speed system, no-real-time system. To settle these problems, the author decides to use Middleware(TCP/IP) soulutions within MP522 chip. The MP522 Chip is a highly integrated and flexible multimedia processor targeting low power multimedia applications. It is designed to provide high-quality digital still image capture, video recorder, media player and graphic display control. so It incorporates a 32-bit RISC main processor, a high-quality image signal processing engine, MPEG-4/H.263 video codec, LCD/LCM display controller with graphic overlay functions, AMR/MP3/AAC and WAV/MIDI audio codec, SD/MMC/MS memory card, and USB 2.0 High-speed device controllers. and It is applied TCP/IP Mode with Ethernet. Ethernet can implement real-time embedded system and varaible contents be easily upgraded. The Sensor Interface Unit(SIU) supports imager resolutions up to 5M-pixels, with horizontal dimension up to 2560 pixels. and It supports CCD and CMOS sensors Up to 10-bit resolution for Bayer RGB or 4:2:2 YCbCr/YUV. CCIR601 input. The Image Processing Unit(IPU) is dynamic dead pixel correction. it is implemented with software application. it supports Configurable image sharpening and filtering processing for special effect. The special effect is required new technique with customer's requires. It includes Image's Rotate, Image's Flip function. The Image Processing Unit(IPU) needs to control Image's processing and display states. and It needs to display several moving picture's format. The Image Display Unit(IDU) supports variety of LCD/LCM interfaces, including 18-bit parallel and 8-bit serial digital RGB, i80 or m68 MPU, and CCIR-656/CCIR-601/CCIR-709 interface. It needs to control Programmable color space conversion and Graphic overlay with alpha blending, background color & transparent color key. The Graphic overlay is required to implement the special effect within Image and moving picture. It applies the special function such as to support color dithering with 4x4 window size and to control RGB video interface with programmable video timing. The MPEG4 Codec(MP4) supports H.263 and MPEG-4 Simple Profile up to Level 5. It applies Proprietary motion estimation algorithm in +31/-32 half-pixel resolution. It is composed Full hardware design, which consumes almost no CPU power during encoding/decoding. but The diverse Image's format and the diverse moving picture's format is implemented software application with MPEG4 Codec(MP4).     Novel role of Gi?2 in cell migration: Downstream of PI3-kinase-AKT and Rac1 in prostate cancer cells

    Tumor cell motility is the essential step in cancer metastasis. Previously, we showed that oxytocin and epidermal growth factor (EGF) effects on cell migration in prostate cancer cells require Gi?2 protein. In the current study, we investigated the interactions among G-protein coupled receptor (GPCR), Gi?2, PI3-kinase, and Rac1 activation in the induction of migratory and invasive behavior by diverse stimuli. Knockdown and knockout of endogenous Gi?2 in PC3 cells resulted in attenuation of transforming growth factor ?1 (TGF?1), oxytocin, SDF-1?, and EGF effects on cell migration and invasion. In addition, knockdown of Gi?2 in E006AA cells attenuated cell migration and overexpression of Gi?2 in LNCaP cells caused significant increase in basal and EGF-stimulated cell migration. Pretreatment of PC3 cells with Pertussis toxin resulted in attenuation of TGF?1- and oxytocin-induced migratory behavior and PI3-kinase activation without affecting EGF-induced PI3-kinase activation and cell migration. Basal- and EGF-induced activation of Rac1 in PC3 and DU145 cells were not affected in cells after Gi?2 knockdown. On the other hand, Gi?2 knockdown abolished the migratory capability of PC3 cells overexpressing constitutively active Rac1. The knockdown or knockout of Gi?2 resulted in impaired formation of lamellipodia at the leading edge of the migrating cells. We conclude that Gi?2 protein acts at two different levels which are both dependent and independent of GPCR signaling to induce cell migration and invasion in prostate cancer cells and its action is downstream of PI3-kinase-AKT-Rac1 axis

    Mobile Map Explorer application of the workshop location is Android based application that are used to locate the nearest of workshop using GPS. The existence of the workshop is required by automotive user to take care or repair the vehicle. Until now, that has been a lot of digital maps are available, but not all locations can be displayed, particularly the location of the workshop in Palembang. Based of these problems, the author developed a mobile application about map explorer of workshop location with the aim to help automotive user to locate the nearest the workshop in Palembang on the phone by using the Global Positioning System (GPS) shown on the map. This application is built on the Android platform, and therefore the mobile phones that support this application is a phone based on Android because this application will be installed first on a mobile phone users. The research methodology used by author is method of Rational Unified Process (RUP), which consists of four stages, namely Inception phase, Elaboration, Construction, and Transition. Evaluation to do by distributing questionnaires. With this application, the author hope to help users in searching and finding the location of the nearest the workshop to take care or repair the vehicle

    Human anatomy is one of the subject matter of biology which deals with human body parts. Students need a picture to explain the material object. Therefore, should made in a medium of learning that makes the material easy to understand, such as by using the facilities that already exist by using computer technology. This thesis aims to overcome this problem, ranging from providing visual object that is not boring in teaching and learning through the interactive nature of which is given to teachers can easily convey the material. The author uses Macromedia Flash 8 media in making the application. In addition, the system development methodology that author use is Waterfall methodology. Applications are also tested and evaluated using questionnaires. Based on the questionnaire, the respondents agreed that the application meets user needs. The author hopes that the application can become an alternative media in the learning process for students and teachers can find a solution to overcomethe problem of learning in the classroom by using the advanced and innovative media in accordance with current technological developments

    [[abstract]]設E 為佈於實數體IR 的巴拿赫空間,用||•||表其模,若I=[O,a]CIR,DCE xo←D 且 f:i×D-E 為均勻連續則x'=f(t,x)且x(o)=x0 是否有解,若無解則f 需增強甚麼條件 才有解,又若f 有解其解是否唯一,之問題稱初值問題或科西問題,我們用(IVP) 表 x'=f(t,x)且x(0)=xo。衯值問題之被數學家研究由來已久,最初期的研究是先考慮當 D 為E 的開集寺,目前這一類之研究已有豐碩之結果,Deimling 證出當f 為Lipsch itz 或dissipative (IVP) 有局解,又李天岩證出當f 為α-Lip-disspipative 時( IVP) 有解,而蔡文煥及顏啟麟在1982 年發表於Bulletin of the istitute of math ematics Academia Sinica Volume 10 number 3 的論文中指出若f 合於邊界條件及 f 為Lip-disipative 時(IVP) 有局部解之在,於是就有一個問題是否f 在局閉集中合 於邊界條件且f 為α-ω-dissipative,(IVP) 有局解,若然則由於開集,閉集均為局 閉集,且上述所言的各種條件均為α-ω-dissipative 條件的特殊情況,於是我們 的定理涵蓋上述的全部定理為其特列,本論文在證出上面的推測是對的。 本論文的資料來源如本論文所附參考書目,其中更借重於Matin (閉集的初等結論) 及蔡文煥、頻啟麟(α-ω-dissipative 在閉集的類似推論法)的論文。 本論文共同二年時間完成,第一年由先由指導老師頻啟麟博士,指導看相關論文,且 增強有關泛函分析及拓樸的有關基礎知識,第二年才開始論文的寫作。 本論文最後結果為 E 為巴拿赫空間,D 為E 的局部閉子集,x, ,f:I×D-E 的均勻連續函數I=[o,a] f 合於(B):hin h-o+h (x+hf(t,x):D)=0, sup{||f(t,x) I×D}≦M-1,且f 為α-ω- dissipative 其中ω 為Uc 類則(IVP) :x'=f(t,x),x(o)=xo 在(o,T)上有局部解其中 T<min {am/r}。
