SD card projects using the PIC microcontroller / Dogan Ibrahim.
book fair 2012xxiii, 545 p. :PIC Microcontrollers are a favorite in industry and with hobbyists. These microcontrollers are versatile, simple, and low cost making them perfect for many different applications. The 8-bit PIC is widely used in consumer electronic goods, office automation, and personal projects. Author, Dogan Ibrahim, author of several PIC books has now written a book using the PIC18 family of microcontrollers to create projects with SD cards.
This book is ideal for those practicing engineers, advanced students, and PIC enthusiasts that want to incorporate SD Cards into their devices. SD cards are cheap, fast, and small, used in many MP3 players, digital and video cameras, and perfect for microcontroller applications.
Complete with Microchip's C18 student compiler and using the C language this book brings the reader up to speed on the PIC 18 and SD cards, knowledge which can then be harnessed for hands-on work with the eighteen projects included within. Two great technologies are brought together in this one practical, real-world, hands-on cookbook perfect for a wide range of PIC fans

Work on the play "Memory in Translation"
U ovom sam radu nastojala obrazložiti izbor teme, inspiracije, cjelokupan istraživački proces i stvaranje strukture. The performance Memory in translation is author project and graduation play, performed and staged by Silvija Dogan, student of second year at master program Non-verbal Theatre at Theatre Department, Academy of Arts and Culture in Osijek. Author performance is a third performance in a row, based on a topic of memories, in which author wanted to share her existing attitude and relationship towards personal memories, through voice, text and movement. Throughout this written paper, idea was to present the choice for topic, inspiration, complete process of research and structure creation of the performance
Afilierea lui Mattei Dogan la sociologia românească (1990-2000)
The article reconstructs the mechanisms through which the work of the French scholar of Romanian origin, Mattei Dogan was brought to light in Romania after 1990 thanks to the efforts of the community of sociologists. Romanian sociologists used three methods to assimilate the author who is considered the founder of comparative political analysis and who left Romania immediately after graduating with a bachelor’s degree in sociology under Henri H. Stahl supervision: they translated Dogan’s articles and books, they made him a member of prestigious institutions and they included him in the post-communist effort to reclaim the legacy of the school founded by Dimitrie Gusti. To capture the institutional and editorial strategies that were used, I conducted interviews with several protagonists of the Romanian sociology renaissance movement. I also used epistolary resources, sociology and political science journals, press articles, as well as documents from the archives of the University of Bucharest and from the Mattei Dogan Foundation. The article shows the success of some methods and the failure of others. It also brings to light a text that was ignored in the studies and bibliographies that discuss the work of the scholar who was born in Roman in 1920 and who went by the name of Matei Pinsler until 1945 (Preda, 2020). This research paper is relevant for various reasons. Firstly, it complements not only the biography of Dogan, but also that of Henri H. Stahl. Furthermore, it highlights the trajectory of a discipline in a period of dissociation with the communist past while restoring the connections with the interwar period

Data to accompany the paper 'Acoustic wave propagation in gassy porous marine sediments: the rheological and the elastic effects'
Data to accompany the paper 'Acoustic wave propagation in gassy porous marine sediments: the rheological and the elastic effects' (by H. Dogan, P.R. White and T.G. Leighton). The abstract for the paper in question is as follows: "The preceding paper in this series [Mantouka et al., J. Acoust. Soc. Am. 140, 274 (2016)] presented a nonlinear model for acoustic propagation in gassy marine sediments, the baseline for which was established by Leighton [Geo. Res. Let., 34, L17607 (2007)]. The current paper aims further advancement on those two studies by demonstrating the particular effects of the sediment rheology, the dispersion and dissipation of the first compressional wave, and the higher order re-scattering from other bubbles. Sediment rheology is included through the sediment porosity and the definition of the contact interfaces of bubbles with the solid grains and the pore water. The intrinsic attenuation and the dispersion of the compressional wave is incorporated using the effective fluid density model [Williams, J. Acoust. Soc. Am. 110, 2276 (2001)] for the far field (fully water-saturated sediment). The multiple scattering from other bubbles is included using the method of Kargl [J. Acoust. Soc. Am. 11, 168 (2002)]. The overall nonlinear formulation is then reduced to the linear limit in order to compare with the linear theory of Anderson and Hampton [J. Acoust. Soc. Am. 67, 1890 (1980)], and the results for the damping coefficients, the sound speed and the attenuation are presented. "</span
