A Hundred years ago plastics were discovered by the action of an accident in a laboratory and over the years plastic compositions evolved coming in different colors and shapes which made them even more complicated and useful in lots of applications, nowadays plastics are inseparable from societies worldwide, and so plastic machining has developed a number of techniques, one of these techniques is injection molding. In this report, a research about plastics and injection molding machines is covered going through the knowledge needed to start designing a machine. Next comes a proposed design and how it changed from a phase to another throughout the process, reaching the manufacturing process and how problems were encountered and solved. At by the end implementation of the machine is illustrated. Whether or not plastics are good for humans; humans need them and here is another trial making even more plastics.Supervised by: Dr. Hasan Eleashy Eng. Rana Sale

Unemployment in Egypt and its impact on Social Development since 2010

Unemployment is one of the major factors that economists look at to evaluate a country, it is a major problem in many states, it is when an individual is currently looking for a job and unable to find one. It indicates the economy stage of development, economic growth of the country and the efficiency of the labor market. When there is a recession in the economy individual’s experience a high unemployment rate, Unemployment can be calculated by dividing the sum of unemployed by the sum of individuals in labor. States calculate unemployment rates differently; for instance few states do not calculate number of undergraduates seeking jobs, others do not calculate the sum of female individuals looking for jobs. (Layard R., 1991) Unemployment is a negative phenomenon in any human society as it adversely affect in different dimensions and directions. In addition, it refers to an economic defect affecting the community structure. Thus, the economic and social dimensions of unemployment increase complexity, consequently lead us to adopt several analyses to understand its nature and impact on the growth. The effects are verified by the presence of causal relation between rates of economic growth and the changing rates of unemployment prevailing in the economy. (Ochsen C., 2011) Unemployment is a very significant problem facing Egypt. The Egyptian Labor Market is mainly characterized by high rates of unemployment among highly educated job seekers, low rates of return on education, increasing trends of informality in the labor market, the shifting of dominance from of public sector employment to private sector employment, low-levels of labor productivity, and scarcity of skilled workers needed to match and satisfy the needs of a more competitive and globalized economy. Unemployment and job creation are among the most important challenges facing policymakers in Egypt today. Not surprisingly, the government has made these challenges the cornerstone of its reform effort. The emphasis follows the recognition that unemployment is a waste of society’s human capital. It has direct adverse effects, especially on those with no physical assets. Furthermore, a high concentration of unemployment among the educated youth could be destabilizing. (Khalifa, 2004

Objectives: The dihydrofolate reductase (DHFR) inhibitory activity of 6-bromo- and 6,8-dibromo-quinazolin-4(3H)-ones (7–25) were studied to define the structural features and requirements that enhance selectivity and specificity for the proper binding to the enzyme active site. Methods: Compounds 7–25 were tested for their in vitro DHFR inhibition. As an application of the use of DHFR inhibitors, in vitro antitumor activity using disease-oriented human cell lines assay was performed. Key findings: Compounds 19, 20, and 22 showed remarkable DHFR inhibitory activity, inhibitory concentration (IC50 0.6, 0.2, and 0.1 μM, respectively). Compounds 12, 17, 18, 20, and 24 proved to be broad spectrum antitumor with median IC50 values of 0.6, 0.6, 0.5, 0.6, and 0.7 μM, respectively. Molecular docking study results revealed that the active DHFR inhibitors 22 and 20 bind to DHFR with similar amino acid residues as methotrexate, especially Arg 28. Conclusions: The mono-bromo series proved to be more active than the di-bromo counterparts and the 3-(2-hydrazinyl-acetyl)- is more active than its 3-(acetohydrazide) isoster. The investigated compounds could be used as template model for further optimization

The Abundance of Natural Resources in Gulf Countries is Curse or Bless Case Study: Saudi Arabia

Increasing in countries’ natural resources especially oil always seems like it is a good thing without a doubt, it gave them a chance to be more rich or developed like what happen after 1974 in Gulf States. Does Economics have a different Theories lead to see the abundance of resources as a curse? Reinter States theory claims that resources abundance is a curse it is make the institutions of the state very weak and lead to Economic stagnation, most of time the government dependent on external rent rather than collect taxation from the citizens so it is called Rentierism. It is very important to know the relation between oil price fluctuation and economic growth in rentier states especially those days because of the instability happened recently caused by the globalization. The beginning of rentier states appeared in the 1980s and 1990s. The rentier state theory is “a political economy theory that seeks to explain state-society relations in states that generate a large proportion of their income from rents, or externally-derived, unproductively-earned payments” (Gray, 2011). Rentier states are those states who depends on the external rent from exporting oil, they do not collect taxes from citizens which means that the main source of income depends on the external market. The rentier states will be affected because their foreign policies will be controlled by some countries who imported oil from them. The idea of having rentier economy will affect the internal industrial sector negatively as they generate their income externally rather than from the surplus of production. Revenues generated from the exploitation of natural resources not from the domestic industry or through taxation system. This research aims to study the effects of oil price fluctuation on Economic Growth in Saudi Arabia and what is the factors that affect the oil price fluctuation and what is the countries has the power on changing this Prices and what is their interests behind this fluctuations, who will get the benefits, who will lose? All this things will be discussing in the paper and will increase our knowledge about the Gulf States and its Problems

We are now in the age of technology, artificial intelligence reached its highest level and robots have emerged, which have become strongly competitive for many important and difficult jobs, although they threaten the human to leave their jobs, but they perform their work very accurately and with less errors In This project, we carry on the mechatronics design of a new object finder robot using RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) Technology which helps the robot to identify and locate the objects, it uses other sensors like line tracker sensor to determine the path which should go and tries to avoid the obstacles by ultrasonic sensor, The robot could be used in Inventory operations to help the workers on save the time and effort, it could be used also in many places like stores, warehouses and some countries use it in libraries to arrange their books, the main processing unit which is used to control the overall system is the Arduino board and whole project is controlled through a computer application developed by C# language. Other people tried to make the robots identify and recognize the object with many ways like camera or barcode or NFC but RFID was chosen for many benefits we will talk about it in details. The main criteria for our design are simplicity, rigidity, stability, user friendly interface, light weight, speed and moderate cost.Supervised By: Dr.Islam Elmaddah Dr.Salah Fod
