Implementation of Strategic Leadership in Tackling Drug Abuse in Indonesia
Drug abuse is one of the most serious problems faced by many countries in the world, including Indonesia. The negative impact of drug abuse on individuals, families and society at large is enormous, so effective action is needed to tackle this problem. One approach that can be used is the implementation of strategic leadership in drug abuse. The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of strategic leadership in efforts to tackle drug abuse in Indonesia. The research method used is a literature review of strategic leadership and drug abuse, including official documents, books and journals. The data was then analyzed qualitatively to identify elements of strategic leadership that are relevant in the context of drug abuse. The results of this study show that the implementation of strategic leadership in tackling drug abuse can have a significant impact. Leaders who are able to articulate a strong vision, develop a holistic strategy, engage various stakeholders, as well as build effective collaborations, can influence positive changes in drug-related prevention, rehabilitation and law enforcement efforts
Effect of initial bacteria cells number and fermentation time on increasing nutritive value of sago flour
Indonesia is the largest sago feedstock in the world. There are about 2 millions ha sago forest that approximately half of the world\u27s sago forest is present in Indonesia. Naturally, sago spreads widely in Papua, while semi-cultivation is in Maluku, Sulawesi, Borneo, and Sumatra. The species sago (Metroxylon sago) was used in this study. It has a relatively high starch content (95.99%) with low amylose content (20.61%) and low protein content (1.63%). Modified sago flour is a product from sago flour that modified with fermentation to increase the nutritional value of the sago flour. It can be used as a gluten free flour and low-calorie food products. The bacteria (Lactobacillus plantarum) was used in the fermentation. However, the color of the modified sago flour is off-white, if the fermentation time is too long. Therefore, it is necessary to investigate the effect of fermentation time and initial bacteria cells number on increasing nutritive value of sago flour. The variables used were fermentation times (12, 24, and 36 h) and initial bacteria cells number (7 x 1010, 7 x 1011, 1.05 x 1012, and 3,05 1012 cells of L. plantarum). The result showed that amylose and protein content increased from 20.61% to 33,06% and from 1.41% to 4.11%, respectively, with bacterial variables of 3,5 x 1012 and fermentation time of 36 h

Leadership style is a set of characteristics used by a leader to influence
subordinates achieving organizational goals or can also be said that leadership
style is often applied by a leader, such as giving orders, assign tasks, discipline,
reprimand, communicate, and so forth. Wonosoco village is a village that has a
leader who can build a more developed village. Successful development includes
infrastructure development, community economy, and food security. Wonosoco
village was originally just a small village with all its limitations and shortcomings
on the economy and agriculture. However, since the village is led by Setiyo Budi
who has open and transparent leadership all the limitations and shortcomings are
improved. Due to the transfer of funds from the government and the village's
original revenue (PADes), all the development went well. For a good performance
in building Wonosoco village, Setiyo Budi was awarded as the best performing
Village Head of sub-district level.
There are various leadership styles, including democratic leadership styles,
authoritarian styles, and freedom styles. From those several leadership styles, the
researcher aims to explain which one approaches the leadership style of Setiyo
Budi in leading Wonosoco Village. The research was conducted by using
qualitative method with Descriptive-Evaluative type. Technique of collecting data
is done by interview, documentation and literature study.
The results show that Setiyo Budi's leadership is very good. The leadership
style used by Setiyo Budi is a democratic style and an authoritarian style, in which
the two styles are applied according to the conditions. Setiyo Budi also runs the
role of village head well, such as the role of problem solver, the role of decision
makers, the role of supervision, the role of information delivery, the role of
motivator, the role influence, and the role communication relationship. Setiyo
Budi is a democratic leader, as evidenced by his involvement of subordinates in
every decision making.
Suggestions that the author gives is a leader must establish a good
relationship in leadership. Because the leader is a guardian and decision maker for
whoever is led. Especially for a leader in governance in leadership will have an
impact on society
Persepsi eksportir atas kualitas layanan jasa kargo shipping agents P.T. Djakarta LLyod dan P.T. Jayakusuma Perdana Lines di Surabaya dan sekitarnya (periode Januari 2001-Desember 2001)
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian mengenai Persepsi Eksportir Atas Kualitas Layanan Jasa Kargo Shipping Agents P.T. Djakarta Lloyd dan P.T. Jayakusuma Perdana Lines di Surabaya dan Sekitarnya (Periode Januari 2001-Desember 2001). Jenis penelitian ini adalah riset deskriptif komparatif dengan menggunakan data primer dan data sekunder. Populasi berjumlah 300 eksportir. Teknik penarikan sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik non-probability sampling, dengan sampel sebanyak 100 responden (eksportir) atau 1/3 dari populasi. Dalam pengukuran skala, penulis menggunakan Lickert Scale (Skala Lickert). Metode pengolahan data yang digunakan adalah Analisa frequencies distribution, analisa descriptive, uji-t (T-Test), serta chi kuadrat (chi square). Kesimpulan yang dapat ditarik dari penelitian ini adalah tidak terdapat perbedaan pengalaman eksportir dalam menggunakan jasa kargo Shipping Agents P.T. Djakarta Lloyd dan P.T. Jayakusuma Perdanan Lines, serta terdapat beberapa perbedaan dan persamaan persepsi eksportir mengenaikualitas layanan jasa kargo Shipping Agents P.T. Djakarta Lloyd dan P.T. Jayakusuma Perdana Lines

DEKOLORISASI LARUTAN REMAZOL BRILLIANT BLUE MENGGUNAKAN OZON HASIL ELEKTROLISIS
Pencemaran lingkungan semakin meningkat seiring dengan perkembangan industri yang memberikan dampak negatif. Zat warna remazol brilliant blue merupakan zat warna reaktif yang banyak digunakan untuk proses pencelupan. Ozon merupakan pengoksidasi kuat yang secara luas telah digunakan dalam pengolahan air sebagai desinfektan. Ozon digunakan dalam pengolahan air sebagai desinfektan yang berfungsi untuk membunuh mikroba patogen, mengoksidasi senyawa organik dan meningkatkan kualitas air. Ozon mempunyai nilai ekonomis yang tinggi dan dapat dengan mudah dihasilkan secara elektrokimiawi. Produksi ozon sudah sering dilakukan dengan menggunakan plasma tetapi kurang efisien karena menggunakan energi yang cukup besar. Pada penelitian ini dipilih metode dengan menggunakan elektrolisis karena lebih efisien dan energi yang digunakan lebih rendah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan pengaruh potensial dan temperatur terhadap konsentrasi ozon yang dihasilkan serta menggunakan ozon yang telah dihasilkan untuk pengolahan larutan zat warna remazol brilliant blue.
Metode yang dilakukan adalah dengan elektrolisis. Sel elektrolisis berupa gelas beker, elektroda yang digunakan adalah elektroda grafit dan elektroda PbO2, pada elektroda PbO2 ditutupi dengan menggunakan gelas beker yang diberi lubang dan pipa pada bagian atas. Ozon yang dihasilkan diaplikasikan ke zat warna remazol brilliant blue. Larutan setelah perlakuan ozon dianalisis dengan spektrometri UV-Vis.
Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pada potensial terpasang 0-7 V proses elektrolisis menghasilkan ozon dengan jumlah yang semakin besar dengan kenaikan potensial. Pada potensial 7 V diperoleh ozon sebanyak 12,4 ppb dan pada pengontrol temperatur hingga temperatur ruang diperoleh ozon sebanyak 20,88 ppb. Pengontrolan pada temperatur ruang memberikan hasil yang lebih baik jika dibandingkan tanpa pengontrolan. Ozon yang dihasilkan dari proses elektrolisis dapat digunakan untuk pengolahan zat warna remazol brilliant blue dengan penurunan intensitas warna sampai 85,37%

PENGARUH WAKTU FERMENTASI MENGGUNAKAN Lactobacillus plantarum TERHADAP KANDUNGAN PROTEIN PADA TEPUNG MOSOF (Modified Sorghum Flour)
Sumber karbohidrat yang paling banyak dikonsumsi masyarakat Indonesia adalah beras dan terigu. Ketika permintaan pasar semakin meningkat sedangkan ketersediaan bahan terbatas akan terjadi permasalahan baru yaitu kelangkaan bahan pangan tersebut. Salah satu alternatif pemecah masalah kelangkaan bahan pangan adalah melalui substitusi dengan sorgum atau sering disebut dengan MOSOF (modified sorghum flour). Sorgum (Sorghum bicolor L. Moench) merupakan salah satu sumber karbohidrat. Pada proses fermentasi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kandungan protein terhadap waktu fermentasi. Pada penelitian kali ini fermentasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan mikroorganisme yaitu Lactobacillus plantarum. Dari hasil uji counting chamber ditetapkan jumlah sel mikroorganisme yang digunakan sebanyak 107 sel/ml, pada bakteri Lactobacillus plantarum pemanenan starter dilakukan pada jam ke 2,5. Dari data hasil laboratorium didapatkan data untuk sorgum yang difermentasi menggunakan Lactobacilus plantarum menurunkan protein dari 9,819 + 0,766 menjadi 7,428 + 0,931 %
