Get PDFA lo largo de su trayectoria poética, Jorge Oteiza insistió en la imagen de liviandad para representar su propia búsqueda espiritual. Desde una sensibilidad que entronca a través de su experiencia hispanoamericana con las vanguardias históricas, el poeta construía así un discurso personal para satisfacer su propia inquietud existencial. El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo estudiar la naturaleza de la imagen poética en Oteiza, su diálogo constante con su propia obra plástica y con la cultura moderna en el tratamiento de la figura de la levedad –el vuelo, el ángel, etc.– mediante una lectura atenta de sus poemas. El resultado es la situación del poeta como un neovanguardista atípico dentro del panorama español de los años 1950 1990, cuya obra poética delata un impuso espiritual insólito y postmetafísico

L.)” that does not disregard close reading while at the same time situates the text in its context discloses that the poet elaborated a picture of Lorca by picking some traits and discarding others; that this careful selection has a fuller meaning when watched against the background of Cernuda’s disputes with Dámaso Alonso and other friends of Lorca’s; that in that portrayal of Lorca there is a mirror of Cernuda himself; and that this mirror plays a revealing part and contains a personal statement within the literary and political struggle of 1937 Valencia, where the poem was written and published first.Un análisis de «A un poeta muerto (F. Radial oxygen loss and physical barriers in relation to root tissue age in species with different types of aerenchyma
Get PDFPlant root aeration relies on aerenchyma and barrier formation in outer cortex influencing the radial oxygen loss (ROL) from roots towards the rhizosphere. Plant species display large variation in strategies for both responses. We investigated the impacts of root-zone hypoxia on aerenchyma formation and development of ROL apoplastic barriers in the outer cortex as a function of root tissue age using three lowland grassland species, each with alternative aerenchyma structure. All species increased root aerenchyma and continued with root elongation after imposing hypoxia. However, ROL barrier development differed: (i) Rumex crispus L. displayed only ‘partial’ barrier to ROL evidenced at older tissue ages, (ii) Cyperus eragrostis Lam. initiated a ‘tighter’ barrier to ROL following exposure to hypoxia in tissues older than 3 days, and (iii) Paspalidium geminatum (Forssk.) Stapf demonstrated highly effective inhibition of ROL under aerated and hypoxic conditions at all tissue ages related to constitutive ‘tight’ apoplastic barriers in outer cortex. Thus, hypoxic conditions affected root elongation and ‘tightness’ of apoplastic barriers depending on species. The physiological implications of the different ROL responses among species in relation to the differential formation of barriers are discussed.Fil: Manzur, Milena Elisa. Razones para un Barroco: Ángel María Pascual y el desencanto

Ángel María Pascual (1911-1947) has very often been blamed for the sophistication of his writing and the baroque bias of many of his works, such as the novels Amadís (1943) and Don Tritonel de España (1944), the articles Cartas de Cosmosia (1942-1946) published on El Español, the essay Catilina (1948) and the poems, collected in one single volume, Capital de tercer orden (1947a). However, at the same time he published these books his style was shown more “classical”, sober, and perfectly readable in his Glosas a la ciudad. The study of the sources of his baroque writing and the way he combined them, therefore, shows that it contains, rather than a mere personal attitude, a political and aesthetic message: the author’s disappointment at the new political regime and the betrayal of the expectations that he entertained during the war.A menudo se ha reprochado al escritor Ángel María Pascual (1911-1947) un barroquismo expresivo presente en las novelas Amadís (1943) y Don Tritonel de España (1944), las Cartas de Cosmosia (1942-1946) aparecidas en El Español, su ensayo Catilina (1989 [1948]) y su poesía, recogida en un único poemario, Capital de tercer orden (1947a). Sin embargo, al mismo tiempo que publicaba estos libros la escritura de Pascual se mostraba más “clásica” en sus Glosas a la ciudad. Si se rastrean las fuentes de su barroquismo y su significado en el contexto de la España franquista se comprueba que más que una proclividad personal contiene también un mensaje estético y político: una expresión de desencanto ante el rumbo que adoptaba el régimen y una decepción de las expectativas creadas durante la guerra.
