Savings-Investments Relationship in an Open Economy
No full textThis paper reviews the conceptual-theoretical framework related to the analysis of the savings-investments relationship in an open economy and reveals the main trends of the respective relationship in the consolidated market economies and emerging countries during the second part of the 20-th century and first decade of the 21-st century. In this context, the author proposes some improvements in the savings-investments relationship analysis methodology, emphasizing the role of the foreign trade balance stock on the values of discrepancy between the savings and investments and of the Feldstein-Horioka econometric model estimated parameters. The respective methodological improvements are applied in the case of Romania for the period 1990-2007. At the end of the paper some guidelines for the savings-investments relationship modeling are presented in order to avoid recession and assure the premises for a sustainable economic growth.state budget deficit, external trade balance stock, Grubel-Lloyd Index generalized form, Feldstein-Horioka model, error-correction model.

No full textIm Bereich der Dauerschuldverhältnisse wird bei durchgeführten Arbeits- und Gesellschaftsverträgen heute überwiegend behauptet, dass die rückwirkende Nichtigkeit als Rechtsfolge der Anfechtung gemäß § 142 Abs. 1 BGB nicht passe. Der Autor zeigt auf, dass sich für Arbeitsverträge diese Rechtsanwendung, auch mit Blick auf die Schutzrechte des Arbeitnehmers, rechtstechnisch nicht nachvollziehen lässt. Anders entstehen, ausgehend von einer methodisch und dogmatisch präzise geführten Betrachtung, bei der Anfechtung in Vollzug gesetzter Gesellschaftsverträge von Personengesellschaften nachvollziehbare Schutzlücken der Interessen Dritter. Die bereicherungsrechtliche Rückabwicklung selbst begründet dabei keine Beschränkung der ex tunc-Nichtigkeit für Dauerschuldverhältnisse. Auf dieser Grundlage entwickelt der Autor eine gängige Ausnahme in teleologischer Reduktion des § 142 Abs. 1 BGB und stellt die allgemeine Vereinbarkeit der Anfechtungsfolge mit Dauerschuldverhältnissen dar.»The ›Ex-Tunc‹-Nullity of Continuing Obligations in Accordance with Section 142 (1) BGB. No full textTelomerase synthesizes chromosome-capping telomeric repeats using an active site in telomerase reverse transcriptase (TERT) and an integral RNA subunit template. The fundamental question of whether human telomerase catalytic activity requires cooperation across two TERT subunits remains under debate. In this study, we describe new approaches of subunit labeling for single-molecule imaging, applied to determine the TERT content of complexes assembled in cells or cell extract. Surprisingly, telomerase reconstitutions yielded heterogeneous DNA-bound TERT monomer and dimer complexes in relative amounts that varied with assembly and purification method. Among the complexes, cellular holoenzyme and minimal recombinant enzyme monomeric for TERT had catalytic activity. Dimerization was suppressed by removing a TERT domain linker with atypical sequence bias, which did not inhibit cellular or minimal enzyme assembly or activity. Overall, this work defines human telomerase DNA binding and synthesis properties at single-molecule level and establishes conserved telomerase subunit architecture from single-celled organisms to humans

Our technical approach is based on the construction of two suitable Lyapunov type functionals. An example is given to illustrate the obtained results. The main results here improve recent results found on the topic in the literature from the case of without delay to the delay case.El autor presenta condiciones suficientes para la existencia de soluciones periódicas de dos ecuaciones diferenciales con retraso de alto orden.
