Research on gaming disorder and its prevention has been intensified since the World Health Organization (WHO) included gaming disorder in the 11th edition of the International Classification of Diseases (ICD-11). This study aims to examine the effectiveness of exercise-based intervention in reducing symptoms of gaming disorder in adolescents. A quasi-experimental method with an interrupted time-series design was used to compare participants' conditions between before and after the intervention. The sampling method used was purposive sampling with the following criteria: (1) adolescents aged 12-18 years, (2) playing games, (3) getting a score of five or more on The Ten-Item Internet Gaming Disorder (IGDT-10) instrument. Five participants (n = 5) who met the criteria then participated in the intervention procedure for three days. Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test was used to analyze the significance of the difference in scores between pre- and post-intervention. The results indicated that there was a significant reduction in gaming disorder symptoms between pre- and post-intervention (T = 0.00, p 0.05, n = 5,  = 0.00,  = 15.00).  This research has practical implications for the use of exercise-based intervention to prevent and treat gaming disorder in adolescents and its application in educational and clinical settings. Similar research with the use of objective indicators, the use of randomized sampling techniques, and the provision of interventions over a long period of time is highly recommended to improve the quality of future research

The issue of child exploitation is on the rise, along with the increasing cases of child exploitation on digital platforms. This research aims to analyze the forms of child exploitation that occur, as well as the available legal protection efforts. Based on data from the Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAI), around 60% of cases of sexual exploitation and child labor involve social media, showing that technology can be a means of abuse. (muslem 2022). In the legal context, Law No. 35/2014 on Child Protection regulates children's rights to protection from all forms of exploitation, both economic and sexual. Every child has the right to be protected from actions that are detrimental to their physical and mental development. (harahap 2024). Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAI) Commissioner Ai Maryati Solihah conveyed KPAI's findings on child victims of exploitation and child labor from January to April 2021. According to her, in 2020 alone the criminal act of trafficking in persons (TPPO) and exploitation reached 149 cases. The details are 28 cases of trafficking, 29 cases of child prostitution, 23 cases of commercial sexual exploitation of children (ESKA), 54 victims of child labor, 11 cases of illegal adoption, and 4 cases of children involved in TPPO. (KPAI 2021) Keywords: Legal Protection, Child Exploitation, Social Media. (muslem 2022). Dalam konteks hukum, Undang-Undang Nomor 35 Tahun 2014 tentang Perlindungan Anak mengatur hak-hak anak untuk mendapatkan perlindungan dari segala bentuk eksploitasi, baik ekonomi maupun seksual. Agriculture is critical to many countries\u27 economies, especially related to gross domestic products (GDP) and employment. However, as a result of industrialization, leading to a problem in fulfilling the expanding global food supply demand. The Internet of Things (IoT) can enhance automatic data transfer in agricultural, improve production, increase quality, improve cost-effectiveness, and reduce environmental impact. However, the obstacles related to IoT application in agriculture have received little discussion especially in the development countries such as Indonesia. This research seeks to fill that gap by investigating the specific issues of adopting the Internet of Things (IoT) in the context of an irrigation and fertilizer management system in Indonesia. To fully study this, a stratified multistage random sampling was conducted to acquire significant insights and data. According to the interview results, respondents voiced worries regarding IoT deployment in agriculture, including, costs implementation (CI), their own knowledge (perceived knowledge (PK)), user experiences with the technology (perceived ease of use (PEU)) and intention of use (IU). The study finds weak CI-IU and PK-IU links but a strong PEU-IU correlation, underscoring the multifaceted factors influencing IoT adoption in agriculture. It is found that the easiness of the use of IoT is the main factors that influence Indonesian farmers to implement the IoT in their farmers. Although the cost of the implementation is an essential factor, easiness to use IoT is the most significant factor. Lastly, researchers, policymakers, and agricultural stakeholders can leverage these insights to advance IoT integration and sustainability in farming practices

The Effect of Performance Anticipation on Students’ Recognition in Online Learning

This experimental research investigated the effect of performance anticipation on students recognition in the context of online learning. Data were collected through online presentation via Zoom and analyzed with between-participants posttest-only control group design. The data collected comprised 69 students aged 17 to 20 years with mean and SD of 18.09 years and 0.59, respectively. The confederate, experimental, and control groups conducted the presentation in the first, second, and zero order. The results showed a significant difference between the control and experimental groups in recognition scores (p = .011), which decreased performance anticipation of student’s recognition ability in online learning contexts. The findings can be utilized by educators to design learning scenarios needed to optimize students understanding of presentation materials and lectures. Furthermore, presentations should be scheduled at the beginning of the class and limited to one per session

A remote-controlled global navigation satellite system based rover for accurate video-assisted cadastral surveys

    Get PDF
One of the main tasks of a cadastral surveyor is to accurately determine property boundaries by measuring control points and calculating their coordinates. This paper proposes the development of a remotely-controlled tracking system to perform cadastral measurements. A Bluetooth-controlled rover was developed, including a Raspberry Pi Zero W module that acquires position data from a VBOX 3iSR global navigation satellite system (GNSS) receiver, equipped with a specific modem to download real-time kinematic (RTK) corrections from the internet. Besides, the Raspberry board measures the rover speed with a hall sensor mounted on a track, adjusting the acquisition rate to collect data at a fixed distance. Position and inertial data are shared with a cloud platform, enabling their remote monitoring and storing. Besides, the power supply section was designed to power the different components included in the acquisition section, ensuring 2 hours of energy autonomy. Finally, a mobile application was developed to drive the rover and real-time monitor the travelled path. The tests indicated a good agreement between rover measurements and those obtained by a Trimble R10 GNSS receiver (+0.25% mean error) and proved the superiority of the presented system over a traditional metric wheel
