No full textAccessibility is a term that is increasingly being discussed within the tourism market and it provides that people with disabilities or reduced mobility can experience the history of a place, the cultural manifestations and the gastronomic aspects. People who have some kind of disability or reduced mobility need mobilizations made for them, since they can not always carry them out on their own. It is extremely important that the tourism professional is committed to contributing to the inclusion of people with some limitation, being allied in this social deconstruction, in which this class has been struggling for generations to break, as well as the barriers they encounter daily, preventing them to enjoy with excellence of the tourist service. Like any other citizen, this part of the population is assisted by rights that must be fulfilled and thus be able to be part of the leisure and recreation arranged in the attractions of the city. In the course of a visitation, the intention is to enjoy the experience and be able to experience the environment, but many are frustrated by the lack of qualified people to deal with this public and the disorganization of the place. Based on this, the research focuses on the theme of accessible tourism, highlighting as a general objective to analyze the qualification for the care of people with disabilities or reduced mobility by professionals who act in the tourist service and as specific objectives: to identify the behavior of the tourism professional before thematic; examine the offering of structure; evaluate if there is the offer of training for the actuant that is attractive. The research was classified as participant, exploratory, qualitative and non-probabilistic, through the acquired data, the intention is to generate significant results that support new research and offer tourism as an instrument of inclusion, since it is perceived that tourism services still need advance in all sectors within the attractive when it comes to accessibility.Acessibilidade é um termo que vem sendo discutido cada vez mais dentro do mercado turístico e a mesma proporciona que pessoas com deficiência ou mobilidade reduzida possam experienciar a história de um local, as manifestações culturais e os aspectos gastronômicos. As pessoas que possuem algum tipo de deficiência ou mobilidade reduzida necessitam de mobilizações feitas a favor deles, uma vez que nem sempre podem realizá-las sozinhos. É de extrema importância que o profissional atuante no turismo esteja engajado a contribuir com a inclusão das pessoas com alguma limitação, sendo aliados nessa desconstrução social, na qual essa classe vem lutando durante gerações para romper, assim como as barreiras que encontram diariamente impedindo-os de desfrutar com excelência do serviço turístico. Como qualquer outro cidadão, essa parcela da população está assistida por direitos que devem ser cumpridos e dessa forma conseguir fazer parte do lazer e recreação dispostos nos atrativos da cidade. No percurso de uma visitação, a intenção é aproveitar a experiência e poder vivenciar o ambiente, porém muitos se frustram pela falta de pessoas qualificadas para lidarem com esse público e a desestruturação do local. Baseada nisso a pesquisa foca na temática do turismo acessível, destacando como objetivo geral analisar a qualificação para o atendimento da pessoa com deficiência ou mobilidade reduzida pelos profissionais que atuam no atendimento ao turista e como objetivos específicos: identificar qual o comportamento do profissional de turismo perante a temática; examinar o oferecimento de estrutura; avaliar se existe a oferta de capacitação para o atuante que está no atrativo. A pesquisa se classificou como participante, exploratória, qualitativa e não probabilística, através dos dados adquiridos, a intenção é gerar resultados significativos que embasem novas pesquisas e oportunizem o turismo como sendo um instrumento de inclusão, pois percebe-se que os serviços turísticos ainda precisam avançar muito em todos os setores dentro dos atrativos, quando se trata de acessibilidade

Get PDFThe general objective of this article is to analyze the adequacy and challenges of applying Brazilian legislation on accessible tourism and assistive technology, and investigates how current Brazilian legislation addresses the regulation of the right to accessible tourism and the use of assistive technologies, assessing whether the current standards are sufficient to promote inclusive and accessible tourism for people with disabilities. The methodology used in the study is descriptive and explanatory, based on bibliographical research and deductive reflection. The study involves mapping the main Brazilian standards and laws that regulate accessible tourism and assistive technology. Technological innovations are also analyzed and how they can be better integrated into Brazilian legislation to promote the inclusion of people with disabilities in tourism activities. The study demonstrates that current Brazilian legislation on accessible tourism and assistive technology is adequate in theoretical terms, but its practical application is hampered by the lack of oversight and resources, confirming previous studies that demonstrate how the lack of accessibility in tourism products and services is a factor that impedes the participation of tourists with disabilities in tourism, requiring state intervention in the promotion of public policies for the development and use of assistive technologies in tourism that culminate in the promotion of accessible tourism. As a scientific contribution, this article innovates by presenting a study on the legislation that guarantees the right to accessible tourism and the impact of the use of assistive technologies in promoting accessibilityEl objetivo general del artículo es analizar la adecuación y los desafíos de la aplicación de la legislación brasileña sobre turismo accesible y tecnologías de asistencia e investiga cómo la legislación brasileña actual aborda la regulación del derecho al turismo accesible y el uso de tecnologías de asistencia, evaluando si las normas vigentes son suficientes para promover un turismo inclusivo y accesible para las personas con discapacidad. La metodología utilizada en el estudio es de carácter descriptivo y explicativo, basada en una investigación bibliográfica y una reflexión deductiva. El estudio implica mapear las principales normas y leyes brasileñas que regulan el turismo accesible y las tecnologías de asistencia. También se analizan las innovaciones tecnológicas y cómo pueden integrarse mejor en la legislación brasileña para promover la inclusión de personas con discapacidad en las actividades turísticas. El estudio demuestra que la legislación brasileña actual sobre turismo accesible y tecnologías de asistencia es adecuada en términos teóricos, pero su aplicación práctica se ve obstaculizada por la falta de supervisión y recursos, confirmando estudios previos que demuestran hasta qué punto la falta de accesibilidad en productos y servicios El turismo es un impedimento para la participación de turistas con discapacidad en el turismo, por lo que se hace necesaria la intervención estatal para promover políticas públicas para el desarrollo y uso de tecnologías asistivas en el turismo que culminen en la promoción del turismo accesible. Saber quais os seus motivos, limites, e as perspectivas para sua erradicação é o objeto desta dissertação. O reconhecimento pela sociedade contemporânea da infância como um período da vida distinto da fase adulta, reconhecendo sua peculiar condição de pessoa em desenvolvimento, e conferindo-lhe o status de sujeito de direitos, revela um novo paradigma social da condição da criança e do adolescente na política Estatal, que passa a conferir prioridade a proteção dos direitos destas "pessoas em desenvolvimento". A maciça exploração da mão-de-obra infantil nos faz questionar quais suas causas e conseqüências, e a conclusão é de envolvem uma complexidade de fatores que se interligam constantemente, apresentando-se como causa-conseqüência, num constante e infindável ciclo. A efetivação dos direitos humanos da criança e do adolescente, que consiste na inadiável superação do reconhecimento formal dos seus direitos, ultrapassando a realidade incontestável de "não-cidadão" para sujeito de direitos requer estabilização social e política e consciência ética do Estado, da família e da sociedade, pois o direito apenas formalmente reconhecido, desde sempre se mostrou incapaz de superar a flagrante negação do direito à vida.Abstract: The violation of children's and adolescents' human rights, when there is the exploitation of children work in a Democratic Rule by Law country, is unquestionable. To know what are its motives, limits and the outlooks for its erradication is the target of this work. The recognition, by the contemporaneous society, of childhood as a period in life different from the adulthood, recognizing its peculiar condition of a person in development, and awarding him the status of a person with rights, shows a new social paradigm of the child and adolescent in the State policy, that gives priority to the protection of these "persons in development" rights. The massive exploitation of children's manpower makes us ask what the causes and consequences are, and the conclusion is that it implies a complexity of factors that are constantly interlinked, presenting itself as cause and consequence, in a constant and endless cycle. The effectiveness of children's and adolescents' human rights, which consists of an undelayable overcome of the formal recognition of their rights, surpassing the unquestionable reality of "non-citizens" for the person of rights, requires political and social stabilization and the ethical conscience of the State, family and society, since the right, only formaly recognized, has always been unable to overcome the evident denial of the right to life
Experience Report: Inclusion of People with Disabilities in Tourism through University Extension
Get PDFThis experience report addresses the inclusion of people with disabilities (PwD) in tourism through university extension, highlighting the importance of extension activities in promoting accessibility. The study analyzes the activities of an extension program at a Brazilian university, aiming to raise societal awareness and train professionals to meet the needs of PwD in tourism, education, and the labor market. The general objective is to analyze the effectiveness of a University Extension Accessibility Program in promoting the inclusion of PwD in tourism. The methodology used is descriptive, with a qualitative approach based on the analysis of activities carried out by the program between 2022 and 2024. Courses, lectures, psychological support for PwD, and educational tourism activities were developed to raise awareness of the rights of PwD. The results show that the program had a positive impact on the inclusion of PwD, improving awareness and service to this group. Additionally, it contributed to the academic development of students and the training of qualified professionals. It is concluded that extension activities are essential for the social inclusion of PwD and the promotion of a more inclusive and just society.Este relato de experiência trata da inclusão de pessoas com deficiência (PcD) no turismo por meio da extensão universitária, destacando a importância das atividades extensionistas para promover a acessibilidade. O estudo analisa as atividades do programa de extensão Mais Acesso, desenvolvido na Universidade do Estado do Amazonas – UEA, que visa sensibilizar a sociedade e capacitar profissionais para atender às necessidades da PcD nas atividades turísticas, educacionais e culturais. O objetivo geral é analisar a eficácia das iniciativas do Programa Mais Acesso na promoção da inclusão de pessoas com deficiência no turismo. A metodologia utilizada é descritiva, com uma abordagem qualitativa baseada na análise das atividades realizadas pelo programa entre 2022 e 2024. Foram desenvolvidos cursos, palestras e atendimentos psicológicos para PcD, além de ações de turismo pedagógico e sensibilização sobre direitos da PcD. Os resultados mostram que o programa impactou positivamente a inclusão de PcD, melhorando a conscientização e o atendimento a esse público. Além disso, contribuiu para o desenvolvimento acadêmico dos alunos e para a formação de profissionais capacitados. Conclui-se que as atividades de extensão são fundamentais para a inclusão social de PcD e para a promoção de uma sociedade mais inclusiva e justa
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

No full textWith the growth of the elderly population in the world, it is observed that accessibility has become essential in the tourist activities that the elderly intend to undertake on a leisure trip. Considering that the tourist experience contributes to the cognitive and psychological development of the elderly, this study aims to analyze the influence of accessibility on the tourist experience of the elderly, using a methodology that is characterized as exploratory and descriptive, a quantitative study by through a survey of 100 elderly people. It was verified the importance of accessibility both for the choice and for the return and indication of the tourist destination, and the importance of this for the tourist experience of the elderly. This study will contribute to the development of effective actions to assist the elderly in tourism.Com o crescimento da população idosa no mundo observa-se que a acessibilidade se tornou essencial nas atividades turísticas que os idosos pretendem realizar em uma viagem a lazer. Considerando que a experiência turística contribui para o desenvolvimento cognitivo e psíquico do idoso, este estudo tem como objetivo geral analisar a influência da acessibilidade na experiência turística do idoso, utilizando uma metodologia que se caracteriza como exploratória e descritiva. Desenvolveu-se um estudo quantitativo por intermédio de uma pesquisa com 100 idosos. Verificou-se a importância da acessibilidade tanto para a escolha quanto para o retorno e indicação do destino turístico, e a importância desta para a experiência turística do idoso. Este estudo irá contribuir para o desenvolvimento de ações eficazes para o atendimento ao idoso no turismo

Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
