Gabriela Zapolska's View on Bourgeoisie
Bakalářská práce na téma Měšťanstvo očima Gabriely Zapolské je věnována rozboru vybrané tvorby polské autorky Gabriely Zapolské. V prvé řadě cílem zmíněné práce bude mapovat měšťanskou morálku v románech a dramatech Zapolské.
The bachelor thesis Gabriela Zapolska's view on the bourgeoisie is dedicated to the analysis of the main work write by polish author Gabriela Zapolska.
This paper presents an approach about the representation of women of mixed racein literature, through the main character of the novel "Gabriela, cravo e canela" byJorge Amado (1958). It is important to investigate the portrayal of African-Brazilian women in literature because the patterns presented there are sociallyplayed back. The misrepresentation of black people on the media generalizes racialdiscrimination, a determinant factor of social inequality in Brazil, a country widelymixed. This study is very timely, at a time of discussion intensification aroundaffirmative action establishment, with racial quotas in public universities in thecountry. Until very recently, the presence of black people and mulattos werevirtually zero in literature and other media, except for vague appearances, asadjuncts or antagonists. Currently, the debate on the importance of rescuingAfrican descent history and culture has strengthened, which can be considered abreakthrough, albeit late. Finally, and equally important, the categories gender andclass must be highlighted as determinant factors to discuss racial issues in Brazil
Possible dialogues between Maria Gabriela Llansol and Clarice Lispector: ways to rethink the child-being
The objective of this work is to study a new and potentialized child, growing in understanding, both in the work of the writer Maria Gabriela Llansol and in Clarice Lispector. The child is treated as a metaphor of a ser-vivo, who ventures into new possibilities of understanding, turning your gaze while reading. We try to understand the text as a place that allows the development of the creative act by readers, named in this work as entre-lugar. Among the most important aspects of this place, we see the persistence in the continuity of being, learning about itself, from the other readers and from the changes in their outlook on the world. Some books are used, such as Um beijo dado mais tarde and Amar um cão by Llansol, and Quase de verdade, Mistério do coelho pensante, A mulher que matou os peixes and A vida íntima de Laura by Lispector, to show the relationship between being and reading through its change of look. Several concepts are discussed, such as child, learning, reading, textuality, freedom, representation, author, thought, perception and time. Supporting the theory of this research through the work of Clarice and Maria Gabriela and by specialized critique, such as Maria dos Prazeres Santos Mendes, Nádia Gotlib, Olga de Sá, Maria de Lourdes Soares, Jorge Fernandes da Silveira, João Barrento, Eduardo Prado Coelho, Eduardo Lourenço, Lúcia Castelo Branco, João Barrento and Maria Etelvina Santos
Interpretation and performance of three orchestral compositions by Gabriela Lena Frank: Escaramuza, Elegia Andian, and Three Latin American Dances
This work presents interpretative and performance suggestions for three of Gabriela Lena Frank’s orchestral works: Escaramuza (2010), Elegia Andina (2000), and Three Latin American Dances (2004). Frank’s compositions frequently include programmatic elements that reference other well-known compositions, and she incorporates melodies, rhythms, timbres, instrumentation, and performance techniques characteristic of her Peruvian cultural heritage. Examples of these elements are presented from a lecture recital format to demonstrate how performance practice and conducting decisions—in rehearsal and performance—can be utilized to honor the composer’s expressed intent and overcome various technical ensemble and conducting challenges. An overview of the cultural contextual elements includes Harawi and Kachampa dance structures. The author also suggests methods for presenting elements that affect the timbre and instrumental scoring specific to each work, for example the Andean Zampoña. This research provides performers with a resource to deepen their score study, and seeks to inspire more people to perform the music of Gabriela Lena Frank.D. A
Gabriela Mistral: narrações, nostalgia e vida desde o autoexílio
Gabriela Mistral, a Chilean professor, writer and intellectual (1889-1957), served as a Chilean consul in Brazil between the 1940s and 1945. This work studies especially her texts known as “Recados” (Notes), trying to understand the author as a narrator, in a Benjaminian sense (1994) - her writings present themselves as amalgam of experiences and, in metaphorical terms, as forms of resistance, since they worked as a way to prolong the life of the author in nostalgia and the displacement of self-exile. It was also through the narrations that Mistral generated bonds with others and committed herself to the production of new generations - in this case, in a symbolic way, as a teacher, intellectual and “homeland accountant”.Gabriela Mistral, professora, escritora e intelectual chilena (1889-1957), atuou como consulesa do Chile no Brasil entre os anos 1940 e 1945.

Core and well-scale data for pore system characterization in pre-salt carbonates of the Barra Velha formation
This dataset compiles petrophysical data and facies information at core and well scale from carbonate reservoirs of the Barra Velha Formation (Santos Basin – Brazilian Pre-Salt). It includes routine core analysis (RCAL), pore type classification, and well logs (NMR). The data were integrated to define dominant pore types along depth intervals and assess their impact on reservoir quality, using CT imaging, thin sections, and core descriptions. This multi-scale approach supports the interpretation of flow units and the heterogeneity of pore systems in pre-salt lacustrine carbonates
Pore and throat data from Pre-Salt caronate plugs based on micro-CT imaging
This dataset comprises morphometric data of pores and pore throats extracted from micro-CT images of carbonate plugs from the Barra Velha Formation (Santos Basin – Brazilian Pre-Salt). High-resolution 3D images were segmented to identify pores and throats, and to quantify their geometric characteristics such as radius, volume and coordination number. These data support the investigation of pore-scale heterogeneities and the connectivity of complex pore systems in lacustrine carbonate reservoirs
