Energy Prosperity with Hazard Operability Method ", thesis Teknika Studies Program, Diploma Program IV, Polytechnic Studies Sailing Semarang, Supervisor I: Drs.Edy Warsopurnomo, MM, M.Mar.E, Supervisor II: Laksmi Setyorini,S.Pd, M.Si Lubrication is a system where all moving machine parts need to be lubricated, in order to avoid direct friction between the components can cause the most damage. In motor fuel lubricity do thorough all of the moving parts, and therefore required the maximum pressure in supporting the work of the auxiliary engine. The pressure should reach a value of 4.0 to 4.5 kg / cm2 to achieve maximum lubrication. This prevents the engine when the auxiliary overloaded then the pressure was not until approaching the limit poor lubrication and an alarm occurs at a pressure of 3.7 kg / cm2. The author formulates the problem by searching for the factors of the decline in the cylinder liner lubrication systems, lubrication systems the impact of falling cylinder liner, and the efforts taken to address the decline in the cylinder liner lubrication system. The author summarizes the problems and try to solve the problem by using the method of hazard operability is with a systematic way of analyzing the risk of a system whereby the operating activities of potential problems in a system that is identified using a circuit. There are many causes less optimal lubrication system maintenance on auxiliary engines. Among them is happening in MV. Energy Prosperity, of causes found. In MV. Energy Prosperity less optimal lubrication system so that the pressure lubricating oil is not normally caused by problems with filters and pumps and piston cooling case cover, filters and pumps is a component of risky impending penurunanan pressure and also the influence of the components of the piston cooling case cover, though not too conspicuous in its work it can cause lubricating oil pressure is not normal. This FMS include locomotor , nonlocomotory dan manipulative for students of elementary school. The fact that students had not shown their development in FMS has been a concern for PES teachers. To overcome this problem, this study proposed cooperative learning (CL) method to improve students’ FMS in locomotor, non-locomotor and manipulative movement. This study applied quasi-experimental method. There were 120 students who involved in this study and they were divided into two groups namely: the experimental and control group. The instrument used to collect data is a battery test of FMS. Based on the results of the t-test, the mean of pre-test FMS for the experimental group is 41.26 and for the post-test is 56.38. In the control group, students got average pre-test of FMS 46.14. and in post-test is 50.74. The results of this study shows that the application FMS learning based on CL improves students’ achievement in FMS learning. To put this into practice, this study designed implementation to show practitioners FMS learning based on CL that can be used in learning locomotor, non-locomotor and manipulative movements. Polymer Microfabrication Modules for Cytostretch Organ-on-chip Applications

    No full text
The use of conventional biological assay tools, such as Petri dish, has hindered the drug discovery studies ineffective and time-consuming. To cope with this problem, organ-on-chip (OOC) devices have been developed. Modeling organ functionality, topography, and pathology, OOC devices are expected to pave the way the drug discovery processes. Recently, a novel OOC fabricated using integrated circuit (IC) technology was introduced. It is called Cytostretch. It allows for mechanical stimulation of the cultured cardiomyocytes by delivering a certain pressure to the backside of the membrane to replicate a beating heart. The presence of micro-electrode arrays (MEAs) in the device enables to characterize the field potentials of the cells for certain strains. Meanwhile, topography features such as grooves were implemented to induce cell alignment.During the development of this device, two crucial problems were noticed. The first problem is the poor adhesion of the polyimide (PI) to the polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) membrane. The PI functions function as insulation layers and provide mechanical integrity to the MEAs. Therefore, the good adhesion of these layers to the membrane is a must. Unfortunately, the recent fabrication results showed that the adhesion of the PI tracks to the PDMS membrane was poor. The second problem is the PDMS membrane itself. Naturally, PDMS can take up molecules, which is problematic in the drug screening studies, since it can compromise the bio-assay results. Furthermore, the presence of silicon backbone in the PDMS structure can also be problematic for the PDMS patterning. Many reports demonstrated that PDMS could not be dry-etched without any residues. The residues were also found in the previous Cytostretch fabrication after the PDMS patterning to form bondpad openings. In this report, the solutions of these two problems are demonstrated. In terms of the PI-PDMS adhesion problem, the silicon carbide-silicon dioxide (SiC-SiO2) bilayer was proposed. In the previous studies, the use of this bilayer has been reported to promote the PI-PDMS adhesion in neural prosthesis devices and flexible body patches. In this work, the SiC-SiO2 fabrication was integrated into the Cytostretch fabrication using plasma-enhanced vapor deposition (PECVD). The immersion tests and the cyclic loading tests showed that the device with the SiC-SiO2 bilayer has an excellent PI-PDMS adhesion. To replace the PDMS membrane, another elastic polymer, polybutadiene rubber (PBR), was studied. Different from the PDMS, the PBR is purely organic without any silicon backbones on its structure. Thus, it is hypothesized that the PBR can be processed more easily than the PDMS. In this work, the patterning of the PBR was elaborated. The PBR patterning experiments began using a bare silicon wafer. The PBR patterning with a wet-etched titanium hard etch mask demonstrated a good anisotropic etching profile. Based on this result, the PBR patterning module was integrated into the Cytostretch fabrication. The bondpad openings in the PBR membrane were also successfully patterned with an anisotropic etching profile. Unfortunately, this successful result was also followed by some issues regarding the non-uniform PBR thickness and the results caused by the errors during the fabrication.Biomedical Engineering | Bioelectronic

Public awareness that is increasingly paying attention to environmental problems requires public awareness to manage waste in a more efficient way. Due to the lack of understanding and appropriate methods for sorting waste, solutions different from conventional methods must be sought. Technology has become an important part of innovation in management. User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) are increasingly considered important in meeting user needs due to new interaction patterns with technology. The aim of this research is to understand and meet user needs in waste sorting. Therefore, the author has found a solution by creating a UI/UX design for an interactive waste sorting application. This study was conducted using the design sprint method which consists of five steps: understand, differentiate, decide, create a prototype, and verify. The results of tests carried out using the system usability scale method produced a score of 75, which shows that this application makes it easier for users to sort waste more efficiently and environmentally friendly
