Industrial training is held to provide early exposure to students related to real work situations. Therefore, UiTM students of Perlis branch Semester 6 for HRM666 subjects must undergo 24 weeks of industrial training at the chosen organization at the initial stage. During the 24 weeks we were given the task of scaring the departments and units entrusted to us. I have undergone industrial training at the Pejabat Agama Daerah Gerik. Part of the content of the report we need to provide is about SWOT analysis of the organization. We need to analyze the strengths of opportunity vulnerabilities and organizational threats. Throughout my industry training in this organization, there are several advantages that I can record which are Comprehensive knowledge and skills, Close co-worker relationships and Systematic recruitment. I have also given a number of suggestions to ensure that the strength gained is sustainable and can also be developed. In addition, the weaknesses I can record are Lack of Facilities for the disabled, Lack of staff in the office and Lack of disclosure to the public. Several recommendations I have given to reduce the impact on the organization due to this vulnerability. The opportunities are Continuous employee training, Internet and social media use and Online training while for threats are Systems and technology that are increasingly sophisticated and the training carried out requires high costs. Several recommendations have been given to take advantage of the opportunities available as well as measures to counter the threats faced by the organization
Factors that influence saving behaviour in Malaysia / Muhamad Azamuddin Muhamad Farid and Izzati Diyana Ihsan
This paper aims at determining the determinants of saving behaviour in Malaysia. The variables are interest rate, inflation, consumption, income level, quantitative easing and rate of return. The sample of this study comprises of 30 observations each of the independent and dependent variables on a monthly basis for 30 years period from January 1983 to December 2013. Methodology used for this study is by using Multiple Linear Regression with time series data sourced from Department of Statistics, Ministry of Finance, and World Bank data. Therefore, econometric tests are to be conducted to know the determinants of variable such as interest rate, inflation rate, income level, consumption, quantitative easing and rate of return towards saving behaviour in Malaysia. Interactive software package E-view would be used for testing and analysing the data collected. The study is an attempt to investigate the determinants of saving behaviour in Malaysia. The results of this research paper would provide us with an indicative view and could form an important basis for investors and policy makers in their investment strategies and policy decisions respectively

This study aims to describe the changes of self efficacy that occur in the character Armin in Attack on Titan animation. The method use to attain the material object was Library Research. Afterwards narrative approach was use to analyze the narrative component such as narrative correlation with space, narrative correlation with time, character, conflicts issue and purpose. Furthermore, the approach of literary psychology is used to analyze changes in self efficacy that occur in Armin character.
The results of this study indicates that there are five forms of self efficacy in Armin character which is inability to act, considers himself a burden and useless, doubts his ability, doesn’t give up easily and dares to be responsible. Factors that affecting Armin’s self efficacy is the experience of success, vicarious experiences or social modeling, social persuasion, psychological and emotional states. The increased of self efficacy in Armin character made himself able to use his potential more optimally.

An acoustic analysis of the monophthongs of Penang Malay / Muhamad Farid Abdul Latiff
The study aims to examine acoustically the production of monophthongs of Penang Malay by five (5) selected female participants who are of the Jawi Peranakan community. Two (2) female participants of Standard Malay were also selected as a comparator to Penang Malay. The first research question focuses on the acoustic features of Penang Malay and Standard Malay based on their formant frequencies of F1 and F2, while the second research question examines the similarities and differences between Penang Malay and Standard Malay based on their acoustic properties. The target vowels are: [a], [i], [u], [ɛ], [ɔ], [ə], [e], and [o]. A series of words were used in eliciting data from the participants. The tokens produced by the participants were recorded and analyzed based on the Formant Frequency Model. The findings reveal that the participants of Penang Malay generally did not distinguish between [ɛ] and [e] and conflated them as one vowel. The findings also suggest that Penang Malay and Kedah Malay are not homogenous as claimed by past researchers
MSc. IT Student Portal (MITSP) development using user-centered design approach / Muhamad Farid Abdul Rashid
The aim of this project is to develop MSc. IT Student Portal (MITSP) for Faculty of Computer and Mathematical Science (FCMS) by applying User-Centered Design (UCD) approach. There are four main objectives for this research which are to identify user requirements for MITSP, to analyze user requirements for MITSP, to design MITSP and lastly to develop MITSP. To achieve all the objectives, phase by phase processes have been conducted. The first phase is the problem identification and planning phase, to identify the problems that occurred from the current communication medium between the coordinator of MSc. IT with students and to plan how to get the requirements and what method to be used to develop the portal. First objective achieved during the second phase which is the requirement gathering phase, to obtain list of functional and nonfunctional requirements from the stakeholders. Second objective achieved during the third phase which is requirements analysis phase where all the functional and nonfunctional requirements are analyzed to get the finalize requirements and the deliverable is Software Requirements Specification (SRS). Third objective achieved during the fourth phase which is the design phase where interface and database are constructed based on the user requirement and the deliverable is Software Design Document (SDD). The fourth objective achieved during the last phase which is the development phase where the portal started to be developed based on the functional and non-functional requirements that have been gathered and analyzed. Evaluation on the portal is also conducted during development phase with the user to identify either the portal developed met the user requirements or not and if it met the user requirements, MITSP is delivered to the user. By developing this portal, it will help the coordinator to manage the programs and able to provide a better communication medium between coordinator and students. Among the new features added to MITSP are automatic e-mail and SMS notification alert to the students when there is new announcement posted and new document uploaded to the portal and also a forum feature as a discussion medium between coordinator and students for certain topic related to MSc. IT program
Development of web-based job seeking system by using data matching technique / Muhamad Farid Abdullah Sany
The internet has fundamentally changed the way workers and firms are matched on the job market. Compared to newspapers and other traditional employment resources, online job boards presumably lead to better matches by providing a wider choice of job advertisements and more sophisticated methods for finding suitable vacancies. Major functionalities of the site include providing services to recruitment agencies, software and hardware development companies and jobseekers. However, there are no job seeking sites that offer employers to filter their candidates by using online interview questions. Therefore, this research is about the study of developing a web-based system for job seeking purposes that will allow employers to ask questions to the candidates and the candidates can answer their questions on the system itself. The objective of the project is to identify requirements, design and develop a web-based job seeking system. Employers can filter their candidates by reviewing their answers. The method used in getting the requirements is by interviewing firms that are often used online job seeking sites to advertise their vacancies. The development tools used in developing the system are Adobe Dreamweaver CS6, MySQL 5.0, PHP/Client-server Application and WAMP Server. The methodology that is most suitable in developing this system is the System Development Life Cycle or also known as SDLC model, because of its systematic approach in developing systems. In research and findings, the functional and nonfunctional requirements, use-case description, work system, and storyboard of the system were defined. Future works that should be added to enhance the system is by implementing the data matching technique on the interview questions to allow better filtering results for employers to filter the candidate answers on the interview questions

Konstruksi Sosial Atas Trust Terhadap Aplikasi Belanja Online

Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini dalah Teori Konstruksi Sosial Peter L Berger. Dalam kasus teori konstruksi sosial, realitas dan pengetahuan dibentuk oleh proses sosial dan sebaliknya. Konstruksi sosial terjadi melalui proses eksternalisasi, objektifikasi dan internalisasi.
Sementara itu pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan penelitian deskriptif. Pemilihan informan dalam penelitian ini secara purposive sampling. Untuk mendapatkan data, penulis menggunakan teknik wawancara mendalam.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa trust value terbentuk dari proses eksternalisasi dengan menetahui keberadaan aplikasi belanja online melalui (1) iklan,dan (2) rekomendasi orang lain yang pernah berbelanja pada online shop. Pada proses objektifikasi ditemukan bahwa trust pengguna terbentuk berdasarkan (1) ratting penjual/toko, (2) Kolom ulasan produk, (3) Kolom deskripsi produk, (4) Label penjual/toko yang telah verivied, (5) Fitur untuk mengatasi masalah pembelian seperti retur dan refund. Pada tahapan internalisasi trust dimaknai sebagai aspek penting sebelum berbelanja menggunakan aplikasi belanja online.

The implementing of social media advertising strategy: a case on perusahaan makanan dan pengawetan istimewa / Muhamad Farid Abu Hashim
In the world of marketing personal selling is one of the best method in order to find more customers and increase sale. The effect will give the seller good feedback from market for example the influence of customer to other people about your product and make the power of word of mouth accured. But this method is less attractive in this 21 century if the organization focus on one method. Most of companies all over the world having website, social media advertising strategy to promote company with the public and get close with customer. The usage of personal selling is less attractive due to the high cost of hiring marketer and high allowance need to paid off.
At the first day of internship, researcher found that Perusahaan Makanan dan Pengawetan Istimewa did not having aggressive social media advertising. Perusahaan Makanan dan Pengawetan Istimewa rarely promote company in public. When researcher asking people around, only people that living around Masjid Tanah ,Melaka know about them. Due to that problem, researcher found that, it is better to develop and monitor social media advertising strategy such as Facebook and Instagram to find out what the need of social media advertising strategy in Perusahaan Makanan dan Pengawetan Istimewa. The researcher also want to know what the challenges implenting the social media advertising strategy in Perusahaan Makanan dan Pengawetan Istimewa.
Researcher use observation method and interview method to find out the aggressive social media advertising in Perusahaan Makanan dan Pengawetan Istimewa Company. During monitoring social media, researcher found that, it give positive feedback to Company which customers create social media communication with Perusahaan Makanan dan Pengawetan Istimewa Facebook. This prove by, many new customer outside from Melaka came and buy product company. Unfortunately, the problem will exit if Perusahaan Makanan dan Pengawetan Istimewa Company implementing social media advertising. The problem is Perusahaan Makanan dan Pengawetan Istimewa Company is just depends on word of mouth marketing. They also lack of knowledge about monitoring and create aggressive social media advertising. The researcher found that, when Perusahaan Makanan dan Pegawetan Istimewa implement the social media advertising strategy it can increase sale and get the awareness among new customer. Company supposedly hire one person to monitor social media and other task that are relate with Informational Technology (IT) to enable Company to go further in future. Besides that, they should expense more money to advertise their product and about the company
