STUDI KITAB TAFSIR AL-MUNIR KARYA WAHBAH AL-ZUHAILI DAN CONTOH PENAFSIRANNYA TENTANG PERNIKAHAN BEDA AGAMA
In this article, the author discusses one of the recent literature of Qur’anic exegesis, Tafsir al-Munir fi al-‘Aqidah wa al- Syari’at wa al-Manhaj or better known as Tafsir al-Munir, written by Wahbah al-Zuhaili (1932-2015 AD). In this work, he tried to reach a compromise between classical interpretation with a contemporary one, this is due to some contemporary views that classical account is no longer able to solve the recent problems. Therefore al-Zuhaili tried to integrate classical interpretation to the contemporary style with a consistent method. To find some pictures of his exegesis, the author discusses the verses on interfaith marriage, between Muslims and non-Muslims as an example. This theme is chosen because of its controversy among Islamic scholars and legal experts. In addition to al-Zuhaili’s background as a scholar with special expertise in the field of fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence)
Korelasi Antara Ekspresi TNF-α dan Microvessel Density Pada Penderita Karsinoma Nasofaring di RSUP H. Adam Malik
Introduction : Angiogenesis is a required process in the nutritional supply and oxygenation of tumor cells that possesses crucial role in the proliferation and metastatic spread of solid neoplasms. Angiogenesis can be assessed by Microvessel Density (MVD) via immunohistochemistry method. TNF-α has been reported acted as mediator in angiogenesis triggered by macrophages. TNF-α is able to induce the expression of proangiogenic molecules such as VEGF and its receptors, VEGFRs.
Objective : To determine the correlation between the expressions of TNF-α and MVD in patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma in H. Adam Malik General Hospital Medan.
Methods : A cross-sectional study. 33 samples from patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma were examined for the expressions of TNF-α and MVD via immunohistochemistry method. Results were analyzed by Spearman's test.
Results : NPC most commonly occurs in males (69.70%), 41-60 years age group (57.58%) and non-keratinizing type of squamous cell carcinoma (54.55%). TNF-α positive expression mostly found in T3-T4 tumor size (59,30%), N2-N3 lymph node size around (70,40%) and clinical stage of III-IV (92,60%). Fisher's exact test showed no significant correlation either between the expression of TNF-α and primary tumor size (p=0.242), lymph node size (p=0.605) and clinical stage (p=0.142). Highly count MVD mostly found in T3-T4 tumor size (61,10%), N2-N3 lymph node size (72,20%) and clinical stage of III-IV (88,90%). Effect of Thymoquinone on the Expression of Transcription Factors p63, Claudin and Periostin in Animal Model of Chronic Rhinosinusitis with Nasal Polyps
Introduction: Chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps (CRSwNP) is a chronic condition of the nasal mucosa and paranasal sinuses, involving epithelial barrier dysfunction, chronic inflammation, and tissue remodeling. Tight junction proteins such as claudin, and transcription factor p63, are important in maintaining epithelial integrity, while periostin is involved in remodeling through the TGF-ß pathway. Thymoquinone (TQ) from Nigella sativa (NS) is known to have anti-inflammatory effects, but its effect on CRSwNP has not been widely studied.
Objective: To determine the effect of TQ on CRSwNP from histopathological analysis of animal model sinonasal tissue, the expression of transcription factors p63, claudin and periostin in animal models of CRSwNP.
Methods: This study is an experimental study with a Posttest Only Control Group design, using Wistar rats (Rattus norvegicus, sp) as a model of CRSwNP. The rats were divided into three groups: normal control, negative control and positive control. The normal control group was given Phosphate Buffer Saline (PBS), the negative control was induced by ovalbumin (OVA) and Staphylococcus aureus enterotoxin B (SEB), the positive control was induced by OVA and SEB and given TQ therapy. Induction was carried out for 13 weeks, followed by histopathological analysis, immunohistochemistry to assess the expression of p63 and claudin transcription factors and RT-qPCR to assess periostin expression.
Results: Histopathology showed that the negative control group had a polyp structure with thickening of the basement membrane and inflammatory cell infiltration, while the positive control group showed reduced stromal edema and no polyps were found. p63 expression increased significantly in the negative control group, but decreased significantly in the positive group, while claudin expression increased significantly. Periostin mRNA expression increased significantly in the negative control, but decreased in the positive control group.
Conclusion: Thymoquinone has the potential to be an effective additional therapy for CRSwNP, as assessed by histopathological mucosal repair, decreased expression of p63 transcription factor, increased claudin expression and decreased periostin which together can reduce inflammation and remodeling in CRSwNP.183 PagesDisertasi Dokto
Study of Marriage Verses in Wahbah Zuhaili's Tafsir Al Munir
This research is motivated by a phenomenon that contrasts with the realization of the sakinah family in community life. The family is the smallest group in society consisting of husband, wife, and children. This is the principle of the formation of society. The majority of people assume that the factor of peace in family life is material, but many rich people do not get peace at home so there are often quarrels and discomfort. Problems that arise in the household can threaten the permanence of marriage and even lead to divorce. This arises due to the unfulfilled expectations of each partner as well as mental, social and spiritual unpreparedness. Furthermore, researchers examined the marriage verses in wahbah zuhayli's tafsir al Munir as a solution in realizing today's sakinah family. The hope is to find relevant and even solutive interpretations to deal with current problems. For the author, it is useful to add insight into mindsets, attitudes, and experiences as an effort to improve the quality of learning, by understanding the character of sakinah, mawaddah, wa rahmah in the family. The formulation of the problem in this study is (1) What is the Qur'anic view of the sakinah family? (2) What is the interpretation of the family verses sakinah, mawaddah, wa rahmah in wahbah zuhayli's tafsir al-Munir? This research is a literature research that makes tafsir al Munir as the main source of research. This study used a descriptive-analytical approach. The method used is discriptive analysis, which explains interpretation to find out the results of interpretation and differences in the field of interpretation. Another analysis that uses the maudhu'i method is to discuss verses according to the appropriate theme by collecting and studying in depth various aspects related to asbab al-nuzul, mufradat and tafsir of these verses
Modifikasi Alat Pengupas Kulit Dan Pemotong Buah Nanas Tipe Manual
RIZKY ADRIAN RAMADHAN LUBIS: Modification of manual Pineapple Peeler
and cutter, supervised by ACHWIL PUTRA MUNIR and AINUN ROHANAH
Until this time, peeling of pineapple fruit is known only through manual
tools by kitchen knife. However, later on pineapple peeler has begun to be
developed in the form of pineapple peeler manually press by using human
operator. Therefore through this research design, the author tried to ease the
peeling of pineapple peel by designing a pineapple peeler equipment which had a
larger capacity which to be more effective and efficient in pineapple peeling. This
principle of the manual pineapple peeler and cutting was worked by moving the
blades to the pineapple after cutted both of its end, then the cutted pineapple was
place parallel on the pedestal tools with the bladesdirection move by
manuallypressed. The capacity of the pineapple peeler was 139,86 kg/hour,
147,71 kg/hour and 152,67 kg/hour.69 HalamanSkripsi Sarjan
Global analysis of floating offshore wind turbines with shared mooring system.
Wind energy harvesting has increased considerably in recent decades across the world. Over the years, wind farms have gradually extended further into the sea to make use of the greater potential of wind resources in deeper water. Floating wind turbines (FWTs) might be a viable option for deep-water applications. The three most researched floating structures so far are spar, semi-submersible, and tension leg platform (TLP). Cost-effective solutions are desired for further viability and commercialization of these concepts. FWTs with a shared mooring system have the potential to be one of the most cost-efficient ways to minimize the cost of mooring. The 5-MW Conceptual Semi-Submersible Concept (CSC) floating structure with a shared mooring line is considered in the present study due to scarce research on this topic.
This study is inspired by the successful research experience of FWTs’ feasibility with a shared mooring system presented in Munir et al. (2021) which the first author is the author of this thesis. The present thesis is the continuation work which aims to further investigate the feasibility of FWTs with a shared mooring line. To achieve this, two different methodologies are adopted in Munir et al. (2021) and in the present study. In Munir et al. (2021), two single CSC FWTs are connected with a shared line by removing one anchor fixed mooring line from each. Two different configurations of FWTs are studied with 6 and 8 rotors diameter distance between the FWTs, placed horizontally. Along with the length of the shared line, static equilibrium position of FWTs is also varied. The floaters of a dual CSC model are rotated to accommodate the shared mooring line and wind turbines are rotated to experience the maximum thrust. Global analysis revealed higher maximum surge and sway offsets because of the reduced mooring restoring stiffness as compared to a single CSC model. The reduced restoring stiffness can be attributed to the reduction of one anchor fixed mooring line from each FWTs.
In the present study, three different configurations of the dual CSC model are studied with different shared line and single mooring configurations. This includes Model 1 with a medium-long shared line, Model 2 with a longer shared line, and Model 3 with a relatively shorter shared line. As an alternation of the methodology presented in Munir et al. (2021), the static equilibrium position of FWTs is kept constant at 9 rotors diameter distance and only the length of the shared line varies. The anchor positions are changed to keep the FWTs at their mean static equilibrium position in all the configurations. The orientation of the floaters and wind
turbines is same as in Munir et al. (2021). Dynamic responses of all the configurations are analyzed and compared, including the natural periods, restoring stiffness of the structures, mooring restoring force, and platform motions. The analysis revealed that the surge and sway DOFs are more influenced by the shared mooring configuration with higher offsets and natural periods as compared to a single CSC model. This happens because of the reduced mooring restoring stiffness of the structure in surge and sway directions and no shared mooring restoring force in horizontal DOFs. To avoid the snap loads and increased tension on the fairleads in extreme environmental conditions, Model 1 is recommended for further study in future as compared to Model 2 and Model 3 with a longer and shorter shared line. The results indicate that the dual CSC model with a shared line is a feasible concept and could become an alternative concept in deep water
