PENERAPAN TEKNIK IRIGASI TETES UNTUK MENGOPTIMALKAN EFISIENSI AIR PADA TANAMAN TOMAT (Solanum Lycopersicum)
Irigasi merupakan salah satu komponen penting dlam mekanisasi pertanian untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan produksi pertanian, dengan demikian maka diterapkanlah irigasi tetes terutama untuk daerah-daerah yang memiliki curah hujan yang rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kinerjarangkaian sytem irgasi tetes. Mengetahui kebutuhan air pada tanaman tomat dan pertmbuhan tanaman tomat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimental dengan melakukan percobaan di greenhouse. Penelitian ini dirancang dengan menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan menggunakan 3 perlakuan yatu P1 dengan kemiringan keran 40o, P2 dengan kemiringan keran 50 dan P3 dengan kemiringan keran 60. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan tenik irigasi tetes pada tanaman tomat pada parameter keseragaman tetesan belum memenuhi standar keseragaman emisi (EU) yang disarankan oleh ASAE, sedangkan pada tinggi tanaman tomat laju pertumbuhan tanaman tomat kurang seragam sehingga terjadi cukup jauh jarak antar tanaman. Pada parameter kebutuhan air, bobot berangkasan basah dan berangkasan kering berpengaruh untuk keberlangsungan pertumbuhan tanaman tomat. Kinerja sistem irigasi tetes pada tanaman tomat dengan merujuk pada nilai keseragaman tetesan adalah P1 sebesar 48,5%, P2 74,4% dan nilai tertinggi yaitu 86,6%. Kebutuhan air pada penerapan irigasi tetes yang sudah dirancang mendapatkan nilai 4,377 mm/hari. Pertumbuhan tinggi tanaman dengan nilai tertinggi 43,28gr dan bobot tanaman berangkasan basah dengan nilai 31,63gr dan berangkasan kering dengan nilai tertinggi 3,46gr Dengan nilai tersebut tanaman tomat memberikan respon pertumbuhan tanaman yang baik terhadap penerapan irigasi tetes
Efek Air Laut, Zeolit, dan Bahan Vulkan terhadap Sifat Kimia Tanah Gambut
The object of this research is to study effect on chemical properties of
peat. This was conducted at green house, fertility-soil chemical laboratory and
research laboratories and technology. This research used factorial randomized
block design with two (2) factors treatments consist of mineral materials
(zeolite and volcanic material) and sea water with three (3) replications.
Dossage of zeolite and volcanic material were 200 gram/pot and 1000 gram/pot.
Volume of sea water were 500 ml (+ 1500 ml fresh water) per pot, 1000 ml (+
1000 ml fresh water) per pot dan 1500 ml (+ 500 ml fresh water) per pot. The
results showed that application of mineral zeolite and volcanic material
influenced significantly increased of soil acidicity, exchange kalium, exchange
calsium, exchange magnesium, number of tillers per clump and number of
productive tillers per clump. Volume of sea water influenced significantly
increase of soil acidicity and electrical conductivity, number of tillers per clump
and number of productive tillers per clump, but not significantly effect on cation

Evaluasi Kajian Oil Extraction Rate (OER) Optimum sebagai Standar Panen Kelapa Sawit
This research aims to carry out a basic evaluation of the harvest of palm kernel 3 (BD3), palm kernel 7 (BD7), fraction 1 (FR1), and fraction 2 (FR2) on the types of soil and peat and minerals that are tested and analyzed based on observations of the number of loose fruits from bunches (brondolan) on the plate. This research was conducted at PT Gandaera Hendana, Ukui 2 Village, Ukui District, Pelalawan Regency, Riau Province. The study used a factorial randomized block design (RBD) with two factors: harvest base and two types of soil. The parameters observed consisted of adding a number of brondolan after harvest, the multiple of brondol after harvest, oil to bunch analysis, and potential oil extraction rate (OER). The analysis showed that adding loose fruit after harvest in mineral soil increased significantly two times more than peat (15.2 loose fruit). The harvest standard for fraction 2 increased significantly due to the addition of loose bunches after harvest (23.9 bunches) and their interaction in mineral soil (38.6 bunches). The base of palm kernels 3 (BD 3) shows a very significant increase in the yield of palm kernels after harvest (2.4 times) as well as its interaction in mineral soil (2.7 times). Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases.
