Selain itu banyak orang yang lebih memilih perangkat berteknologi tinggi seperti smartphone, yang membuat dakwah dengan media lebih menarik. Jika digunakan sesuai syariat Islam, Tiktok bisa dianggap sebagai alat dakwah yang bermanfaat.     This study aims to examine intercultural communication between the people of Lembak and Java in Durian Mas Village, Rejang Lebong, focusing on cultural differences as triggers of communication conflicts, stereotypes, prejudices, verbal communication, and non-verbal communication. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with the aim of understanding deeply and holistically the phenomenon of intercultural communication that occurs between the two ethnic groups. The research methods used include data collection through participatory observation, in-depth interviews with informants from the Lembak and Javanese communities, as well as analysis of documents and recordings to support research findings. Data were analyzed with inductive and descriptive approaches to identify emerging patterns and themes related to cultural differences, stereotypes, prejudices, verbal communication, and non-verbal communication. The results showed that cultural differences between the people of Lembak and Java became the main factor that triggered conflicts in intercultural communication. Differences in social norms, language, customs, and cultural values lead to misunderstandings and tensions in their social interactions. Stereotypes and prejudices also play an important role in influencing the perceptions and attitudes of both groups towards each other. In addition, it was found that verbal communication is also a potential source of intercultural conflict. Different language, diverse interpretations of words or body language, and differences in speaking styles can complicate comprehension and cause discomfort in communication. Non-verbal communication, such as body language, facial expressions, and eye contact, also affects the interpretation of messages and emotions conveyed. This research contributes to further understanding of the importance of awareness of cultural differences in intercultural communication. The implications of the findings of this study can be used as a basis for formulating programs or activities aimed at increasing understanding between the Lembak and Javanese communities in Durian Mas Village, Rejang Lebong. It is hoped that the results of this research can be the basis for broader efforts in promoting intercultural integration and understanding in multicultural societies

    This research is motivated by the problems raised in Religious and Cultural Syncretism: The Tradition of the Oath Using the Al-Quran Khatam Rayab. Khatam Rayab is an ancient Koran found in Karang Baru Village, Padang Ulak Tanding District, which is used to solve problems that cannot be resolved amicably and legally. The purpose of this study was to determine the process of implementing the oath using the Koran Khatam Rayab. This research is a field research that uses qualitative descriptive methods, taking research topics or respondents using ethnographic methods. Ethnography is an approach used to understand how people in a community interact and are observed in everyday life. Ethnography is used to examine human behavior related to the development of communication technology in certain social and cultural settings. In this study, the researchers used an approach of observation, interviews, documentation, and data analysis techniques, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing, which became the research of the owner of Khatam Rayab Mr. Hur, Joko's heir, people who had promised and the community. Based on the research results of Religious and Cultural Syncretism: Tradition of Oaths Using the Khatam Rayab Al-Quran, namely at the stage before the implementation of the oath, offerings and dowries are in the form of cash. The da'wah values contained in the tradition are: life values, discipline values, social values, cultural values and honesty values. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian Sinkretisme Agama dan Budaya: Tradisi Sumpah Menggunakan Al-Quran Khatam Rayab yaitu pada tahapan proses sebelum melaksanakan sumpah harus menggunakan sesaji dan mahar berupa uang tunai. Nilai-nilai dakwah yang terdapat dalam tradisi tersebut yaitu: nilai keimanan, nilai kedisiplinan, nilai sosial, nilai budaya dan nilai kejujuran.

    This study examines the framing of the Nangguak Tebat tradition by five Indonesian online media (Kompas.com, Detik.com, Bisik.id, Narasiberita.co.id, Jejakdaerah.id) in May 2025. Using qualitative content analysis with Entman's Framing theory, Stuart Hall's Representation theory, and CuDA, this study reveals how the media collectively represent this tradition positively, highlighting local wisdom, social, and ecological values. Nevertheless, each media outlet demonstrates different framing emphases, ranging from aspects of solidarity, indigenous identity, environmental sustainability, tourism potential, to food security. These findings underscore the significant role of media in constructing public understanding of local culture and the importance of fair and empowering representation

    ABSTRAK  Penelitian ini mengkaji tradisi Khatam Rayap di masyarakat Lembak, Bengkulu, sebagai praktik komunikasi antarbudaya yang memadukan nilai-nilai Islam dan budaya lokal dalam konteks penyelesaian konflik sosial. Tradisi ini melibatkan pengucapan sumpah di atas mushaf Al-Qur’an kuno yang diyakini sakral, disertai dengan ritual sedekah punjung kuning, dan dilaksanakan di hadapan tokoh adat, agama, serta pemerintah desa. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif dan metode etnografi komunikasi, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi makna simbolik, fungsi sosial, dan dimensi spiritual dari ritual tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Khatam Rayap bukan hanya berfungsi sebagai mekanisme penyelesaian sengketa, tetapi juga sebagai wahana reproduksi nilai-nilai etis, pembentukan solidaritas komunitas, dan penguatan identitas budaya-religius. Penggunaan mushaf sebagai simbol transendental mencerminkan praktik komunikasi keagamaan yang kontekstual, sementara integrasi adat dan ajaran Islam menunjukkan keberhasilan masyarakat dalam menegosiasikan makna dan norma secara kolektif. Tradisi ini menjadi contoh konkret bagaimana teks suci diinterpretasikan secara hidup dan relevan melalui praktik budaya yang dinamis dan bermakna secara sosial.     Budaya lokal menghadapi tantangan serius akibat derasnya arus globalisasi dan dominasi budaya global yang diperkuat oleh teknologi digital. Meskipun media sosial kerap dianggap sebagai ancaman terhadap keberlangsungan budaya tradisional, platform digital ini justru membuka peluang baru bagi pelestarian budaya yang partisipatif dan kolaboratif. Artikel ini mengkaji bagaimana narasi digital dan dialog antargenerasi dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai strategi pelestarian budaya lokal di era media sosial. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif berbasis kajian literatur sistematis, artikel ini menyoroti peran generasi muda sebagai kreator konten digital serta generasi tua sebagai penjaga memori budaya. Interaksi reflektif antar generasi menjadi kunci terciptanya narasi budaya yang autentik dan berkelanjutan. Artikel ini juga mengusulkan kerangka Intergenerational Cultural Storytelling Framework sebagai panduan konseptual yang mengintegrasikan teori narasi digital, budaya partisipatif, komunikasi lintas generasi, serta konstruksi simbolik komunitas untuk mendukung pelestarian budaya yang relevan di era digital

    Environnement textuel et réception du texte médiéval. La deuxième vie de la Chronique de Dalimil

    Cette analyse propose d’apporter un éclairage nouveau sur la réception de la Chronique de Dalimil grâce à l’analyse des « assemblages textuels » constitutifs des codices qui la renferment. Si l’enquête nous surprend dans un premier temps par l’importance des textes de divertissement au sein du corpus et le recul de la portée politique du texte, ce constat est néanmoins en conformité avec les transformations de la société qui avaient rendu caduc le message de Dalimil. L’écrasante majorité des textes en tchèque rend compte des progrès de la vernacularisation ainsi que du rôle des « transferts culturels » dans l’élaboration de la littérature nationale. La composition des différents codices se fait en outre le reflet de la nouvelle place prise par la littérature dans la société, dans le contexte de l’apparition des « nouveaux publics », tout en illustrant les destinées que pouvait suivre le texte, indépendamment des visées premières de son auteur. Enfin, elle montre que le processus de canonisation de l’œuvre, capable de faire le poids à côté des « hits » de la littérature européenne, était déjà largement engagé à l’orée du xve siècle.This analysis proposes to shed new light on the reception of the Chronicle of Dalimil through the analysis of the “textual collections” constituted by the codices that contain it. While we were initially surprised by the importance of texts made for entertainment within the corpus and the decline in the political scope of the text, this observation is nonetheless in conformity with the transformations of society which had rendered obsolete the message of Dalimil. The overwhelming majority of the Czech texts reflect the progress of vernacularization and the role of “cultural transfers” in the development of national literature. The composition of the different codices is also a reflection of the new place taken by literature in society, in the context of the appearance of the “new publics”, while illustrating the different fates that might befall the text, independently of the aims of its author. Finally, it shows that the process of canonization of the work, capable of competing with the “hits” of European literature, was already very much under way at the beginning of the fifteenth century
