The programs and its features used in the prevention of child abuse
Bu nedenle bu makalede çocuk istismar n önlemek için yürütülen programlar tart lacak, farkl alanlarda yap lan çal malardan örnekler sunulacak ve ruh sa l hem ireleri için önerilerde bulunulacakt r.Child abuse that is a phenomenon preventing the child s growth and development, is a multi-faceted problem. It has a complex structure in terms of its characteristics, dynamics, causes, and conseguences. Therefore, it is required that it should be a combination of multidisciplinary approaches. For this purpose, family, school, and community based child abuse prevention programsa re being developed. Knowing the contents, target group, and properties of these programs will provide an important insight for community mental health nurses which play an active rol in the prevention of child abuse. For this reason, in this article, programs implemented to prevent child abuse will be discussed, examples from studies in different areas will be presented, and recommendations for mental health nurses will be offered

-ideals of commutative rings
In this study, we present generalizations of the concept of r-ideals in commutative rings with a nonzero identity. Let R be a commutative ring with 0 not equal 1 and L(R) be the lattice of all ideals of R. Suppose that phi:L(R) -> L(R) boolean OR {circle divide} is a function. A proper ideal I of R is called a phi-r-ideal of R if whenever ab is an element of I and Ann(a) = (0) imply that b is an element of I for each a,b is an element of R. In addition to proven many properties of phi-r-ideals, we also examine the concept of phi-r-ideals in a trivial ring extension and use them to characterize total quotient rings
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
An analysis of supply chain related graduate programmes in Europe
This is the post-print version of the Article. The official published version of the Article can be accessed from the links below. Copyright @ 2013 Emerald Group Publishing Limited.Purpose – Motivated by a lack of studies in graduate level supply chain education, this research aims to explore trends in supply chain-related graduate programmes in Europe and to propose a framework for designing such programmes.
Design/methodology/approach – The authors determine “knowledge” and “skills” areas applicable to supply chain management (SCM) education and analyse supply chain-related graduate programmes published by the European Logistics Association in 2004. They revisit the same programmes in 2011 to determine the recent situation and the trends. The authors use cluster analysis to reveal the similarities and differences among these programmes.
Findings – The authors find two distinct clusters: focused and diversified. Focused programmes offer modules in knowledge and skills areas apart from SCM at a negligible level and place more emphasis on SCM in 2011 when compared to 2004. Diversified programmes show a similar increase in the emphasis on SCM with more variety in the knowledge and skills areas.
Research limitations/implications – The authors' findings are based on SCM programmes delivered in Europe and over two discrete time periods. Future research should seek to extend this analysis to other continents with larger samples and incorporate the industry perspective to determine the potential gap between what programmes offer and what industry requires.
Practical implications – SCM-related graduate programmes continue to redefine themselves. Clustering predominantly serves the universities in re-assessing and re-engineering their programmes, helps prospective graduates in their selection process and assists managers in their recruitment practices.
Originality/value – This paper establishes a baseline for assessing SCM-related graduate programmes with respect to the knowledge and skills they offer and introduces a framework that may serve as a starting point for the design and positioning of such programmes
Square Dancing with the Stars to Enhance Dynamic Hirschman Linkages?
In this Presidential Address, the author takes the reader on a reconnaissance of his life and time as a regional scientist. He points out scenery he found scintillating along the way, hoping that some may pick up the banner and chew on a few of the ideas for a while. He suggests a revisit to Albert O. Hirschman’s notion of key sectors and more empirical analysis related to Marcus Berliant’s and Masahisa Fujita’s notion of knowledge creation and transfer.Presidential Address, San Antonio, Texas, March 29, 2014 (53rd Meetings of the Southern Regional Science Association
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Finally, we show by means of an example that our findings have a high practical relevance.information science;Pearson correlation;cosine;similarity measure;author cocitation analysis
Second and Secondary Lattice Modules
Let M be a lattice module over the multiplicative lattice L . A nonzero L -lattice module M is called second if for each a ∈ L , a 1 M = 1 M or a 1 M = 0 M . A nonzero L- lattice module M is called secondary if for each a ∈ L , a 1 M = 1 M or a n 1 M = 0 M for some n > 0 . Our objective is to investigative properties of second and secondary lattice modules

Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more
sophisticated methods
