Ethnomathematics: Exploration Of Jubata Dayak Kanayatn Dance Sanggar Padagi Raya
This study aims to describe the mathematical elements contained in the Jubata Dayak Kanayatn Dance at the Padagi Raya Studio. This study will not only contribute to cultural preservation, but also provide new insights into ethnomathematics studies and increase public awareness of mathematics in the context of local culture. This study is expected to be a reference for further research, as well as offer alternative solutions in mathematics learning that are more contextual and relevant to the culture of the community. The method used is qualitative research with an ethnographic approach, involving observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation to collect data from three informants. The results of the study indicate that the Jubata Dance contains various fundamental mathematical activities, such as calculating, measuring, designing, determining locations, playing, and explaining. The mathematical elements identified in this dance include angles, geometric transformations, flat shapes, and spatial shapes. Each dance movement has a mathematical meaning that can be analyzed, such as the angular patterns formed in the movement, as well as the use of geometric formations that show the relationship between dance and mathematics. This study fills the gap in previous studies on ethnomathematics in Jubata Dance and provides new insights into understanding the relationship between culture and mathematics. The conclusion of this study is that Jubata Dance is not only a cultural expression, but also contains mathematical elements that can improve the understanding of the community, especially students, about mathematical elements in the context of local culture. This study is expected to be a reference for further studies and provide alternative solutions in learning mathematics that are more contextual and relevant to everyday life. Penelitian ini tidak hanya akan berkontribusi pada pelestarian budaya, tetapi juga memberikan wawasan baru dalam kajian etnomatematika serta meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat tentang matematika dalam konteks budaya lokal. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi untuk penelitian-penelitian selanjutnya, serta menawarkan solusi alternatif dalam pembelajaran matematika yang lebih kontekstual dan relevan dengan budaya masyarakat. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi, yang melibatkan observasi, wawancara semi-terstruktur, dan dokumentasi untuk mengumpulkan data dari tiga narasumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Tari Jubata mengandung berbagai aktivitas fundamental matematis, seperti menghitung, mengukur, mendesain, menentukan lokasi, bermain, dan menjelaskan. Unsur-unsur matematika yang teridentifikasi dalam tarian ini mencakup sudut, transformasi geometri, bangun datar, dan bangun ruang. Setiap gerakan tari memiliki makna matematis yang dapat dianalisis, seperti pola sudut yang terbentuk dalam gerakan, serta penggunaan formasi geometris yang menunjukkan hubungan antara seni tari dan matematika. Penelitian ini mengisi kekosongan kajian sebelumnya tentang etnomatematika dalam Tari Jubata dan memberikan wawasan baru dalam memahami keterkaitan antara budaya dan matematika. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa Tari Jubata tidak hanya merupakan ekspresi budaya, tetapi juga mengandung unsur-unsur matematis yang dapat meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat, terutama siswa, tentang unsur-unsur matematika dalam konteks budaya lokal. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi untuk studi lebih lanjut dan memberikan solusi alternatif dalam pembelajaran matematika yang lebih kontekstual dan relevan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari. Dengan mengintegrasikan elemen budaya dalam pendidikan, diharapkan siswa dapat lebih mudah memahami unsur matematika dan melihat relevansinya dalam kehidupan mereka sehari-hari, serta meningkatkan minat belajar mereka terhadap mata pelajaran tersebut.Kata Kunci :Etnomatematika; Tari Jubata; Dayak Kanayatn; pendidikan matematika; aktivitas matematis
Etnomatematika: Aktivitas dan Kerajinan Tangan Masyarakat Dayak Jangkang
Abstrak. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan etnografi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi aktivitas dan kerajinan tangan masyarakat dayak dalam kegiatan penanam padi serta bagaimana implementasinya dalam pembelajaran matematika. Data diperoleh dengan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini dengan cara pengumpulan data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Pengambilan data dilakukan oleh peneliti dengan cara terjun langsung ke lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kerajinan tangan masyarakat dayak jangkang dapat dijadikan materi untuk pembelajaran matematika khususnya pada materi Geometri yang terdiri dari Rotasi, Translasi, dan Refleksi. Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Kajian Analisis Geometri pada Rumah Adat “Dori Mpulor” Sebagai Dasar Pengembangan Pembelajaran Matematika Berbasis Etnomatematika
This research aims to examine the geometric concepts present in the traditional house "Dori Mpulor" as a basis for developing ethnomathematics-based mathematics learning to support the Merdeka Curriculum. The study employed a qualitative descriptive method with an ethnographic approach. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. The analysis of the data was performed using qualitative techniques, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings revealed that there are geometric concepts in the structure of the Dori Mpulor Traditional House, which include the positioning of two lines on a plane (parallel lines, intersecting lines), angles (opposite angles, supplementary angles, right angles, and acute angles), gradients, congruency (line segments, angles, polygons), polygon similarity, triangles (equilateral and right triangles), circles, cylinders, parallelograms, and trapezoids. In conclusion, the study of geometric concepts in the Dori Mpulor Traditional House can be implemented as learning material, giving educators the freedom to create quality learning experiences tailored to students\u27 needs within a real context, so that students gain enjoyable and meaningful learning experiences.

The Influence of Self-efficacy and Learning Motivation on the Numeracy Literacy Ability of Junior High School Students
This numeracy literacy ability is important in mathematics learning. Self-efficacy and motivation to learn play an important role in improving students' numeracy literacy skills. The purpose of the study was to determine the influence between self-efficacy and learning motivation on numeracy literacy skills in SMP Negeri 2 Ngabang. This study uses a quantitative research method. This research was carried out at SMP Negeri 2 Ngabang with 9 classes totaling 247 students who were the subjects of the research. Then, the sampling technique uses the stratisfied clustur random sampling technique. Data collection includes self-efficacy variables and learning motivation variables by providing questionnaires and test questions for numeracy literacy skills, from the value of these questionnaires and tests is the basis for determining the influence of self-efficacy and learning motivation on students' numeracy literacy skills The test results show that the data is distributed in a homogeneous, normal, and linear manner. Based on data analysis and research findings, it is shown that self-efficacy and learning motivation have a positive and significant influence on the numeracy literacy ability of SMP Negeri 2 Ngabang students. The F test showed a simultaneous effect, with a sig value. 0.000 is less than 0.05. The determination coefficient showed that self-efficacy and learning motivation had the ability of 33.6% to explain the variance in students' numeracy literacy ability and 66.4% was influenced by other independent variables that were not studied in this study.Pengaruh Self-efficacy dan Motivasi Belajar Terhadap Kemampuan Literasi Numerasi Siswa SMP ABSTRAKKemampuan literasi numerasi ini adalah hal yang penting dalam pembelajaran matematika. Self-efficacy dan motivasi belajar memainkan peran penting dalam meningkatkan kemampuan literasi numerasi siswa. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh antara self-efficacy dan motivasi belajar terhadap kemampuan literasi numerasi di SMP Negeri 2 Ngabang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 2 Ngabang dengan 9 kelas yang berjumlah 247 siswa yang menjadi subjek penelitian. Kemudian, teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik stratisfied clustur random sampling. Pengumpulan data mencakup variabel self-efficacy dan variabel motivasi belajar dengan cara memberikan kuesioner dan soal tes untuk kemampuan literasi numerasi, dari nilai kuesioner dan tes inilah yang menjadi dasar untuk mengetahui pengaruh self-efficacy dan motivasi belajar kemampuan literasi numerasi siswa Hasil uji menunjukkan data berdistribusi secara homogen, normal, dan linier. Berdasarkan analisisi data dan temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa self-efficacy dan motivasi belajar memberikan pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap kemampuan literasi numerasi siswa SMP Negeri 2 Ngabang. Uji F menunjukkan pengaruh simultan, dengan nilai sig. 0,000 kurang dari 0,05. Koefisien determinasi menunjukkan bahwa self-efficacy dan motivasi belajar mempunyai kemampuan sebesar 33,6% dalam menjelaskan varians terhadap kemampuan literasi numerasi siswa dan 66,4% dipengaruhi variabel independen lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini. Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature.
