The Work of Hafız İsmail Müşfik Efendy Named Müşfik-Name (Analysis-Text)
Bu çalışmada hicri 1270 (M. 1854) yılında Cerîde-i Havadis Matbaasında taş baskı usulüyle basılan Müşfiknâme adlı eser ele alınmıştır. Çalışmanın temel amacı, Hafız İsmail Müşfik Efendinin günümüze ulaşan tek eserini bilim dünyasına kazandırmaktır.
İlk 39 sayfasında mektuplar, 40-67. sayfaları arasında şiirler bulunan, içerisinde Arapça bir mektup ve Arapça bir lugazın da yer aldığı bu eser, Cerîde-i Havadise yazılar yazan şair ve münşi Hâfız İsmail Müşfik Efendi’ye aittir.
Üç bölüm halinde hazırlanan çalışmanın ilk bölümü eserin müellifi ile münşeat geleneğine ayrılmıştır. Bu bölümde Hafız İsmail Müşfik Efendi’nin hayatı ve edebî kişiliğine yer verilmiş, münşeat geleneğinden özet olarak söz edilmiştir.
İkinci bölümde Müşfiknâme şekil ve muhteva unsurları bakımından incelenmiştir. Şekil ve muhteva hususiyetlerinde mektuplar ve şiirler incelenirken muhtevada küçük de olsa bir tahlil çalışması yapılmıştır. Metinde yer alan mektupların muhtevası, türleri; şiirlerin muhtevası, türleri ve nazım şekilleri hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Çalışmanın son bölümünde eserin transkripsiyonlu metni verilmiştir. Tezin sonuna matbu nüshanın tıpkıbasımı eklenmiştir.The work named Müşfiknâme is analyzed in this study. The process of lithography was used in creating this special work, Müşfiknâme. The work was prepared in Cerîde-i Havâdis Printing House in Hijri 1270 (1854). The basic purpose of this study is to make this single remaining work by Müşfik Efendy known in the world of literature.
The first 39 pages of the work consist letters, while the pages between 40 and 67 consist poems. There is an Arabic letter and an Arabic dictionary in this work, which was written by Hâfız İsmail Müşfik Efendy, who wrote articles in Cerîde-İ Havâdis.
The study is prepared in three different sections. The first section is about the author and the tradition of münşeat. In this section, the life and literary personality of Hâfız İsmail Müşfik Efendy is presented. On the other hand, the tradition of münşeat is presented as a summary.
In the second section, Müşfiknâme is analyzed in terms of its shape and content. Letters and poems are carefully analyzed in terms of their shape and content while a small-scaled detailed analysis is carried about the composition. Information about the types and contents of letters in the text is presented. Types of poems and verse structures are analyzed and presented to readers. In the last section of the study, transcription text of the work is included. A facsimile of the printed copy is added at the end of the thesis
From Albania to Brazil: Ismail Kadaré's Broken april and its filmic adaptation, Walter Salles' Abril despedaçado
Dissertação (mestrado) - Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, Centro de Comunicação e Expressão, Programa de Pós-Graduação em Letras/Inglês e Literatura Correspondente, Florianópolis, 2007The aim of the present study is to analyse how issues of Albanian national identity are portrayed in Ismail Kadaré's novel Broken April (Prilli i Thyer), and how such features have been appropriated and translated onto the screen into a Northeastern Brazilian context. I depart from the premise that, even though Brazilian elements are indeed shown in the film, the non existence of the Kanun in Brazil, and the use of narrative techniques different from the ones employed in the novel render the story of the blood feuds in the film more universal than the genuinely Albanian reality depicted in the novel. In sum, the appropriation transcends the Albanian reality into a universal context, showing, at the same time, elements which are typical of the Brazilian culture.O objetivo do presente estudo é analisar como questões sobre a identidade nacional Albanesa são retratadas no romance Abril Despedaçado (Prilli i Thyer), de Ismail Kadaré, e como tais questões foram apropriadas e traduzidas para a tela num contexto Nordestino-Brasileiro. O estudo parte do princípio que, embora elementos tipicamente Brasileiros sejam mostrados no filme, a não existência do Kanun no Brasil, e o uso de técnicas narrativas diferentes das empregadas no romance ajudam a deixar a história das brigas de família no filme com um aspecto mais universal do que a realidade genuinamente Albanesa representada na romance. Em suma, a apropriação transcende a realidade Albanesa para um contexto mais universal, sem deixar de mostrar também elementos típicos da cultura Brasileira
Safranboluian Ismail Najati, One of the Sheikhs of Gumushkhanawi Lodge: His Life, Khalifas and Work
Ismail Najati efendy was born in Safranbolu in 1258/1842-3. After completing primary education in his hometown, he came to Istanbul and completed his education there, then he was engaged in teaching as a mudarris. Besides being a participant of Huzur Lessons as a muqarrir and mukhatap, he taught as a professor in the madrasa of Dar al-khilafat al-aliyye. His relationship with Ahmad Ziyaaddin Gumushkhanawi, the scholar-sufi of that era, began in his pupilage and continued in the form of professor-student and sheikh-disciple relation until the death of Gumushkhanawi. He attended the lessons of Gumushkhanawi, took scholarship ijazats and also khilaftnamah from him by completing his sayr al-suluk. He undertook the sheikhdom of Gumushkhanawi Lodge, which was the grand lodge of Ziyaiyyah sufi order attributed to Gumushkhanawian Ahmad Ziyaaddin Efendy, succeeding Kastamonuian Hasan Hilmy Efendy and conducted this mission until his death. As a mudarris and a sheikh he gave ijazats to numerous students regarding hadith books that he taught. He also gave khilafatnamah to his merited disciples who were taken by himself to khalwats/seclusions, one of the rutin activities of the Lodge. As far as we identified, the number of his khalifas was twenty five. His pamphlet titled Sayr al-Suluk Lessons and postscript to the book of Ramuz alahadith are written works of him. In this paper, by presenting the life, scholarly career, lodge activities and khalifas of Ismail Najati Efendy, and briefly examining his pamphlet regarding sayr al-suluk, we sought to introduce this outstanding scholar and wise man
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. The purposed of this final project is to realize the design process that involve in the preliminary findings, analysis case study and synthesizing Diploma of Interior Architecture. The suggested title of this project is Proposed New Design Scheme for REEBOK Retail Shop at lot G26, G27 & G28, Ground Floor Level, Ipoh Parade, Ipoh, Perak. Before writing this documentation, a lot of procedures has to be met and must follow a systematic process. Various important factors must be considered especially inside the angular space including environment outside the building. The first step before I started this project is to identify constraints and limitations of the existing site, interior and exterior. This is extremely important because, it is aimed to explain what the site problem is and how it can be solve with the project. Research begins from basic design principles up to building roof. Besides that, the research of interior space must also be considered as a case study. The nature of the case study directly or indirectly related to the project that I have proposed. In fact, a proposed planning was made before I started to proposed new design. Several important aspects must be considered to ensure the space function, such as to fulfill user’s needs and comfort. The design made should fulfill the character of users or visitors demand and also match the concepts that need to be shown. Partisipasi Masyarakat dalam Pengelolaan Lingkungan untuk Mewujudkan Program Bestari di Kotamadya Medan
Ismail Efendy, 1998 melakukan penelitian dengan judul “Partisipasi Masyarakat Dalam Pengelolaan Lingkungan Untuk Mewujudkan Program Bestari Di Kotamadya Medan”, studi kasus Kelurahan Pulo Brayan Kota (Bimbingan Prof.Dr.H. Usman Pelly, MA. sebagai Ketua, Dr.dr.Jazanul Anwar dan H.Syamsul Arifin.SH.MH sebagai anggota).
Kegunaan penelitian ini sebagai tugas akhir akademik dan hasilnya merupakan sumbangan pemikiran kepada Pemerintah Daerah Tingkat II Medan dalam menyusun kebijakan, dan strategi peningkatan pemahaman serta partisipasi masyarakat dalam mewujudkan program Bestari. Pembangunan yang berwawasan lingkungan merupakan orientasi kehidupan masa depan dengan pengelolaan sumber daya alam secara arif dan bijaksana dengan perencanaan yang multi koordinasi oleh pemerintah dan masyarakat dari semua lapisan. Pada hakekatnya setiap orang mempunyai hak dan kewajiban untuk memelihara lingkungan dengan mencegah dan memperbaiki kerusakan serta pencemaran, agar kehidupan yang berkelanjutan dapat terwujud, hal ini sesuai dengan Undang-Undang Nomor 4 Tahun 1982, yang diubah dengan Undang-Undang No.23 Tahun 1997.
Adanya kebijakan Pemerintah Pusat memberikan penghargaan Adipira bagi kota yang berhasil dalam pengelolaan lingkungan bersih, mendorong Pemda Tingkat II untuk menggerakkan partisipasi masyarakat untuk mendapatkan Penghargaan tersebut, dan pada jangka panjang dengan menggerakkan partisipasi masyarakat dalam Pengelolaan lingkungan akan terwujud pembangunan yang berwawasan lingkungan.
Untuk mendapatkan penghargaan adipura sebagai program jangka pendek dan mendukung pembangunan yang berwawasan lingkungan, maka Pemerintah Daerah Tingkat II Medan dengan perangkat peraturan yang ada menetapkan Motto Bestari sebagai wujud menciptakan kehidupan yang bersih, sehat, aman, tertib dan indah pada satu kemitraan dengan seluruh lapisan masyarakat (Cendikiawan, Tokoh Agama, Organisasi kemasyarakatan, Instansi terkait) yang tergabung dalam Forum Komunikasi Medan Bestari (FKMB). Forum ini berperan untuk menyampaikan informasi kebijakan dan usaha-usaha peningkatan pastisipasi masyarakat agar lingkungan Bestari itu dapat terwujud.
Mengamati kenyataan di lapangan terlihat bahwa sampah, drainase dan penghijauan belum terkelola dengsan baik, dan Dinas terkait mengeluh tentang kurangnya partisipasi masyarakat untuk membayar retribusi serta membaca data inventaris masalah lingkungan Kotamadya Medan, sesuai hasil seminar yang dilaksanakan FKMB tanggal 8 Nopember 1993, maka penelitian ini akan menjawab dugaan bahwa kondisi sosial dan Persepsi masyarakat mempunyai pengaruh yang berarti terhadap partisipasinya dalam pengelolaan lingkungan untuk mewujudkan lingkungan
yang bersih, sehat, aman, tertib dan terciptanya keindahan.
Hasil pengumpulan data melalui Kuesioner dengan pernyataan atau pertanyaan
terstruktur yang dilakukan terlihat bahwa kondisi sosial masyarakat yang berumur 40-49
tahun kelompok terbanyak, Pendidikannya yang terbanyak adalah kelompok tamatan
SLTA, mayoritas sebagai wiraswasta/pedagang, pendapatan terbanyak antara Rp
200.000- Rp 300.000, lama tinggal sebahagian besar 1-5 tahun, luas pekarangan yang
dimiliki 1-5 m2 yang terbanyak dan luas bangunan fisik yang dimiliki terbanyak pada
kelompok luas 0-20 m2, sedang status kepemilikan rumah terbanyak menempati rumah
milik sendiri.
Uji statistik dengan model multipel regresi terbukti kondisi sosial mempunyai
pengaruh sebesar 15,90% dan signifikan pada taraf 95 persen, dengan estimasi persamaan
regresi, Y = 3,14+0,105 x1+0,125 x2+0,077 x4+0,058 x5+0,135 x6+0,117 x8+0,735,
sedangkan pekerjaan dan luas bangunan fisik tidak signifikan mempengaruhi persepsi
masyarakat.
Kondisi sosial terhadap partisipasi terdapat elastisitas persamann regresi parsial Z
= 2,733+0,097 x2+0,087 x4+0,061 x5+0,0135 x6+0,064 x7+0,079 x8+0,585 dengan
kontribusi pengaruh kondisi sosial terhadap partisipasi sebesar 15,51 persen dan
signifikan dimana sinif F (0,0001) < α (0,05), dari persamaan diatas umur dan pekerjaan
tidak signidikan terhadap partisipasi. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa kondisi sosial masyarakat
mendukung partisipasinya dalam pengelolaan program Bestari.
Hasil kusioner dan observasi lapangan juga menunjukkan bahwa persepsi
masyarakat yang terbanyak (51,70 persen) pada kategori persepsi tinggi dan
partisipasinya juga sebahagian besar (63,40 persen) berada pada kategori partisipasi
tinggi dan bila dilihat hasil uji statistik menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh persepsi sebesar
19,88 persen pada probabilitas 95 persen dengan hasil persamaan regresi parsial,
Z = 120,546 + 1,349 yl + 2,517y2 + 2,975 y3 + 5,568y5 + 5,885 y5 + 19,481, dalam
persaman regresi ini persepsi terhadap perda dan kelembagaan tidak mempunyai
pengaruh langsung terhadap partisipasi. Secara sendiri persepsi terhadap perda
mempunyai pengaruh yang berarti pada partisipasinya, sedangkan persepsi terhadap
lingkungan mempuyai pengaruh yang terbesar untuk meningkatkan partisipasi
masyarakat dalam mewujudkan Program Bestari di Kotamadya Medan.
Temuan penelitian di lapangan masih terdapat sampah beserakan di pinggir jalan
dan sungai, karena terbatasnya fasilitas tempat pembuangan sampah sementasra (TPS)
yang tidak mencukupi ratio beban sampah harian masyarakat, Parit/got yang kurang
terwat akibat penataan ruang yang tidak tertur, Usaha masyarakat kurang untuk
menyediakan tanaman hijau sesuai dengan lokasi ruang yang dimiliki serta kurangnya
kesadaran masyarakat untuk merawat tempat-tempat umum.
Penelitian ini menyarankan agar semua pihak turut serta memberikan penyluhan,
tentang lingkungan kepada masyarakat yang diharapkan akan membentuk persepsinya
untuk menggerakkan partisipasi. Juga disarankan kepada pemerintah untuk mengikut
sertakan masyarakat (battoom up) mendukung kegiatan yang Bestari dalam pengelolaan
lingkungan. Disarankan pula penelitian lanjut untuk menemukan model yang cocok
menggerakkan partisipasi masyarakat dalam pengelolaan lingkungan khususnya program

Standar Keshahihan Hadis Menurut Syuhudi Ismail
This Article aims to discuss Syuhudi Ismail’s view of the standard of authentic hadith. The author uses the library research method. This method uses data collection with the technique of documenting books that discuss Syuhudi Ismail and his method of studying hadith. Furthermore, the results of the study are: Syuhudi Ismail presents two principles in criticizing the authenticity of hadith, namely the major rule and the minor rule. The major rules are the varios conditions of criteria for the validity of a hadith that are general in nature, while the minor rules are the elements of the rules which are derivatives and detailed explanations of the rules major.
ABSTRAK
Artikel ini bertujuan untuk membahas pandangan Syuhudi Ismail terhadap standar keshahihan hadis. Penulis menggunakan metode kajian pustaka (library research). Metode ini menggunakan pengumpulan data dengan teknik mendokumentasikan buku-buku yang membahas tentang Syuhudi Ismail dan metodenya dalam menelaah hadis. Selanjutnya hasil dari kajian tersebut adalah: Syuhudi Ismail menyajikan dua kaidah dalam mengkiritik keshahihan hadis yaitu kaedah mayor dan kaedah minor. Kaedah mayor adalah berbagai syarat atau kreteria kesahihan suatu hadis yang bersifat umum, sedangkan kaedah minor yaitu unsur-unsur kaedah yang merupakan turunan dan penjelasan terperinci dari kaidah mayor
Ismail Fethi\'s Views on Spirit and Morality
Ismail Fethi'nin Ruh ve Ahlâk'la ilgili Görüsleri isimli bu çalısmada, daha
önce hakkında herhangi bir çalısmanın yapılmadıgını tespit ettigimiz Ismail Fethi'nin
ruh ve ahlâkla ilgili görüsleri ele alınarak, müellifin bu görüsleri felsefe açısından
degerlendirilmeye çalısılmıstır.
Müellifin ruh görüsü zihin felsefesi, ahlâk görüsü ise ahlâk felsefesi
çerçevesinde ele alınmıstır. Ruh ile ilgili görüslerinde Ismail Fethi, dualist bakıs
açısına sahip oldugundan, onun bu noktadaki görüsleri önde gelen dualist filozoflarla
karsılastırmalı olarak ele alınmıstır. Dualistik ruh anlayısının problemlerine
deginilerek Ismail Fethi'nin ruh görüsünün problemleri belirlenmistir. Ayrıca ahlâk
görüsünde tasavvufî bakıs açısına sahip oldugunu tespit ettigimiz müellifin ahlâk
görüsü önce Osmanlı ahlâk düsüncesi içinde sonra da tasavvufî ahlâk içindeki yeri
tespit edilmeye çalısılmıstır.
Bu yöntemle ele aldıgımız görüslerinde müellifin bilhassa ruh konusunda
kendinden önceki düsünürlerden etkilenmis oldugunu, günümüzdeki bilimsel ve
felsefî verilerle yer yer ters düstügünü söyleyebiliriz. Ahlâk görüsünde ise belirli bir
sistem ortaya koymaktan ziyade bireysel ahlâk konularına deginerek ruh- beden
ayrımını öngören ruh görüsüne paralel, ruhun tezkiyesi konusu dısına pek
çıkmamıstır. Bu itibarla çalısmamızın niteligi Ismail Fethi nezdinde yeni ve orjinal
fikirler ortaya çıkarmaktan çok, bilinmeyen bir düsünürün fikirlerinin degerlendirilmesi
ve düsünce dünyamıza kazandırılması olarak özetlenebilir.In this study, namely \"Ismail Fethi\'s Views on Spirit and Morality\", Ismail Fethi\'s
views regarding spirit and morality, which we determined that have not been studied
before, are discussed and those views of the author are attempted to be evaluated
from the point of philosophy.
The authors\' view of spirit is examined in the frame of mind philosophy, while his
view of morality is examined in the frame of moral philosophy. Since, in his views
about spirit Ismail Fethi adopts dualistic approach, his views on that subject are
compared with the primary dualistic philosophers\'. The problems of dualistic spirit
concept are mentioned and the problems of Ismail Fethi\'s view of spirit are pointed
out. Moreover, as we identified that regarding his view of morality the author adopts
sufi perspective, the position of his moral view in the Ottoman moral thought and in
the sufi morality is tried to be determined.
We can say that in his views, which we examined with the method depicted
above, regarding his view of spirit, in particular, the author is affected from the
scholars before him. We can also say that in some aspects these views contradict
with the contemporary scientific and philosophic findings. About his view of morality,
it can be said that rather than composing a certain system, he mentioned more on
the individual morality matters. In parallel with the view of spirit which presumes spritbody
distinction, he barely went beyond the matter of purification of the soul. Thus,
rather than revealing Ismail Fethi\'s new and original thoughts, the character of our
study can be summarized as an evaluation of the thoughts of an unknown scholar
and bringing his contribution in our contemporary thought
