Study of hydrodynamic cavitation in static appliances for industrial application
reservedCavitation identifies the appearance of vapor cavities inside an initially homogeneous liquid medium. Bubbles formation and growth are due to a sharp decrease of local pressure below the saturation pressure of the state. Once the fluid flow returns to the higher-pressure state, the bubbles collapse releasing a large amount of thermal and pressure energy. Due to the high energy released, different potential processes to exploit it have been considered. The theoretical possibility of using cavitation for wastewater treatment is highlighted in the literature. Researchers have recognized in Hydrodynamic cavitation a promising technology, suitable for this purpose. One of the more promising geometries adopted is the so-called “Venturi” tubes. Unfortunately, until now no standard procedures for the design of this type of cavitation reactor have ever been established. THe idea is to define a procedure for the design of the cavitating device (Venturi tube) and develop an optimized geometry for it, working on the main geometrical parameters to obtain a configuration granting consistent cavitation and high efficiency. The focus of this research has been the evaluation of which are the most important parameters defining the performances of a Venturi tube and the development of a stable and efficient cavitation field. In particular, cavitation seems to be favored by: wall geometry, turbulence, unsteady natural flow, roughness, and vibratory motion. The design of a Venturi tube is characterized by a higher number of degrees of freedom with respect to the orifice case, for example, as its geometry is defined by more than one parameter. It's crucial to understand the effect of the singles. In particular high influence is given to: ratio of the perimeter of the throat to its open area, pressure recovery rate, Slit Height to Length Ratio.
To simplify the design process, a correlation involving the two adimensional parameters characterizing the cavitation process was considered: cavitation number and resistance number . This relationship, obtained for the single geometry allows to simplify a lot the optimization, giving analytical relationships involving parameters otherwise only obtained by CFD simulations. Streszczenie
Cel pracy
Celem pracy było określenie specyfiki budowy somatycznej tancerzy sportowego tańca towarzyskiego stylu standardowego.
Materiał
Materiał badawczy stanowiła para sportowego tańca towarzyskiego posiadająca najwyższą, międzynarodową klasę taneczną „S”. Mistrzowie Świata z 2013 roku w stylu standardowym. Długość stażu tanecznego pary wynosiła 19 lat. Badane osoby trenowały od 6 do 7 dni w tygodniu, po 3-4 godziny dziennie. Oboje mieli po 28 lat.
Metoda
Oceny rozwoju fizycznego dokonano na podstawie pomiarów antropometrycznych masy i wysokości ciała, długości szyi, kończyn górnych i dolnych, tułowia, uda i podudzia, długości stopy, szerokości barków, miednicy, stopy, klatki piersiowej, głębokości klatki piersiowej, obwodów talii, bioder, uda oraz podudzia. Na ich podstawie obliczono wskaźniki budowy ciała. Wykorzystano również klasyfikacje typologiczną dla oceny specyfiki budowy ciała badanych osób.
Wnioski
Para sportowego tańca sportowego stylu standardowego o wysokim poziomie sportowym (Mistrzowie Świata z 2013r.) charakteryzowała się specyficzną budową somatyczną przejawiającą się określoną wielkością cech i wskaźników budowy ciała. Prezentowane wielkości parametrów cech somatycznych i wskaźników morfologicznych należy traktować jako wynik wymagań stylu standardowego sportowego tańca, osobno dla tancerzy i tancerek a także wspólnie dla pary tanecznej jako specyfika ich doboru oraz wpływ treningu tanecznego na kształtowanie się ich somatotypu.

Abstract
Aim of the study
The aim of the study was to determine the specificity of somatic build ballroom dancers sporting standard style.
Materials
The research material was sporting ballroom dancing couple having the highest international dance class "S". World Champions of 2013, the standard style. The length of the internship dance couples was 19 years. Subjects were trained from 6 to 7 days a week, after 3-4 hours a day. They were both 28 years.
Methods
Physical development assessment was based on anthropometric measurements of body weight and height, the length of the neck, upper and lower limbs, torso, thigh and lower leg, foot length, width, shoulders, pelvis, feet, chest, deep chest, circuits, waist, hips, thighs and ankles. Typological classification was also used to assess the specificity of physique subjects.
Conclusions
A pair of dance sport sporty style with a high level of standard sports (with the 2013 World Champions.) characterized by a specific construction of somatic manifested a certain size characteristics and indicators of body (shown in this work).Presented by their size parameters of somatic and morphological indicators should be considered as a result of the impact of dance training and the requirements of the standard style of discipline and separately for dancers and dance together for a couple as the specifics of their selection.

Optical soliton parameter dynamics by variational principle: parabolıc and dual–power laws (super–gaussian and super–sech pulses)
Abstract
The current paper retrieves the optical soliton parameter dynamics that is considered with parabolic and dual—power laws of self—phase modulation structures. With linear chromatic dispersion and linear temporal evolution, the variational principle recovered the dynamical system of soliton parameters. Two specific forms of optical solitons are addressed in the paper which are super—Gaussian and super—sech pulses. These typically model RZ and NRZ types of pulses considered in telecommunications engineering. The special cases are naturally revealed when the parameter dictating the generalized nonlinearity is set to unity. The issue of soliton radiation has been tacitly disregarded to keep mathematics simple. The perturbation terms are also taken into account and the extended version of the Euler—Lagrange’s equation displays the extended dynamical system of these soliton parameters. Coexistence of strong and weak pulses in a fiber laser with largely anomalous dispersion
The coexistence of weakly sech-shaped solitons and strongly dissipative solitons is experimentally observed in an ultra-large net-anomalous-dispersion mode-locked fiber laser for the first time to author's best knowledge. Both sech-shaped and dissipative solitons appear to be the asymmetrically combined pulse state with one pulse component much smaller than the other. The energy of dissipative solitons is over three orders of magnitude larger than that of sech-shaped solitons. Two different types of pulse-shaping mechanisms coexist in the laser: one is the dissipative processes and the other is the balance between anomalous dispersion and nonlinear Kerr effect. У пропонованому дописі мова йде про Запорізьку Січ як військово-політичну організацію українського козацтва, про її державність як унікальне явище в історії. Аналізуються її витоки, особливості формування і функціонування. Наголошується, що демократичні засади запорізького козацтва та самобутній державний устрій стали основою формування християнської козацької республіки.In the suggested article is said about Zaporоz’ka Sich as the military and political organization of Ukrainian Cossacks, about its statehood as the unique phenomenon in the history. It is analyzed its background, the peculiarities of its formation and functioning. The author proves that regarding its nature Zaporоz’ka Sich was military-democratic republic and had all the attributes of the statehood – its own territory, military and administrative governance, court and military system, its government that carried out legislative, executive and judicial functions, its symbols, treasure house, diplomatic relations with foreign countries, that enables to single out the elements of the developed democracy and classical separation of power. It is stressed, that democratic foundations of Zaporоz’hya Cossacks and distinctive state structure became the basis of the Christian Cossacks republic formation
Composite bound states of wide and narrow envelope solitons in the coupled Schrödinger equations through matched asymptotic expansions
Coupled nonlinear Schrödinger equations, linked by cross modulation terms, arise in both nonlinear optics and in Rossby waves in the atmosphere and ocean. Numerically, Akhmediev and Ankiewicz and Haelterman and Sheppard discovered a class of soiltary waves which are composed of a tall, narrow sech-shaped soliton in one mode, bound to a pair of short, wide sech-shaped peaks in the other mode or polarization. Le complément du comparatif de supériorité en vieil-irlandais
The complement of the comparative in Old Irish.
After examining Brittonic data, the author analyses the different solutions used in Old Irish to connect a referential complement after a comparative. Dative without any preposition is possible only with isolated nouns. If the complement is a full noun phrase, prepositions are used : ol «beyond», re «before», sech «over». There is a tendancy to organise this complement as a proposition, by introducing the verb «to be», relative -daas, forming oldaas, indaas, adaas. Finally, the author studies a particle ind-, distinct from the prep. iN «in» and used to form adverbs.Après l’examen des données brittoniques, analyse des différentes solutions utilisées par le vieil-irlandais pour connecter un complément de référence après le comparatif. Le datif seul n’est possible que pour un nom isolé. Si le complément est constitué d’un groupe nominal, on utilise les prépositions ol «au-delà», re «avant», sech «par-delà». Mais la tendance est à organiser ce complément comme une phrase, avec le verbe être relatif -daas dans les locutions oldaas, indaas, adaas. Traditional motifs and characters in Yakiv Schoholev’s texts: Manifestations of tradition
У статті розглянуті традиційні мотиви та образи творчості Якова Щоголева. Особлива увага зосереджується на дослідженні барокових мотивів у текстах автора, простежуються впливи на письменника фольклору та Харківської школи романтиків. Виокремлено образи козака, бандуриста, Запорозької Січі, гетьманів, а також образ Семена Климовського як такі, що безпосередньо пов’язані з історією барокової доби. Творчість Щоголева підтверджує тяглість традиції в історії української літератури.The paper explores the traditional motifs and characters typical of Yakiv Schoholev’s oeuvre. Special attention is paid to the baroque motifs introduced by the writer, and to the influences exerted by folklore and Kharkiv romantic school. In particular, the author points out the characters of Cossack, bandura player, Zaporozhskaya Sech, hetmans as well as the figure of Semen Klymovsky, stressing their relation to the history of the Baroque Age. This relation, in its turn, allows to locate Yakiv Schoholev’s works within the enduring tradition of Ukrainian baroque writing
