The relationship between Indonesia-Malaysia in 2005 and 2006 id quite problematic concerning three main issues: illegal migrant, illegal logging, and Ambalat's dispute. Historically, there were disputes which broke up the relationship between the two countries in 1963 until 1966. Forty years later (1996-2006), three main issues occured, which have no correlation with formerly disputes. Those issues have become significant after Indonesia entered multidimensional crisis in 1997-1999 and the effects remain. At the other side, Malaysia has reached rapid growth in economic, business, manufacture, and financial in the last past seven years. These two realities of circumstances have become Indonesia and Malaysia position background, considering their own self as the right one of the three sensitive issues. The reconstruct of a good, close, and maximal neighbourhood between the two countries is really expected. This article observes the needed of consideration from Indonesia on policy aspect and new perspective in facing pressure from Malaysia. It is obvious that those matters are the consequences for the establishment of an advantage relationship between the two countries

The marriage contract without a guardian has become controversial among ulama, especially because the Hanafi School allows marriage without a guardian, which is different from the other three schools of thought. For this reason, the author compares the two views of scholars from the Syafi'iyah and Hanafiyah schools through their respective books, namely "Fath Mu'in" by Sheikh Zainuddin al- Malibari (Syafi'iyah) and "Al -Ikhtiyar Li al-Ta'lil al-Mukhtar" by Ibn Maudud (Hanafiyah). The aim of this research is: First, to understand the views of Sheikh Zainuddin al-Malibari regarding guardians in marriage contracts and legal ijtihad in "Fath Mu'in". Second, knowing Ibn Maudu's view regarding guardians in marriage contracts and legal ijtihad in "Al-Ikhtiyar Li al-Ta'lil al-Mukhtar". The type of research used in this research is qualitative research combined with library research in its data collection method which refers to primary, secondary data sources and also other sources that support this research. This research is a comparative analysis, namely describing, analyzing and comparing marriage contracts without guardians according to the opinions of Sheikh Zainuddin al-Malibari and Ibnu Maudud. the theory used by Maqasid asy-Syari'ah and bayani epistemology. The results of this research show one of the Maqasid ash- Syari'ah elements used in analyzing the opinions of Sheikh Zainuddin Al-Malibari and Ibnu Maudud in marriage contracts without guardians. The author found that the opinion of Sheikh Zainuddin al-Malibari places greater emphasis on the presence of a guardian in the marriage contract, because it aims to ensure that the bride's clear nasab (Hifz alnasl) is maintained. Meanwhile, Ibn Maudu's opinion emphasizes that women who have reached the age of puberty are considered to have sufficient maturity and capacity to make decisions regarding their soul mate and the course of their life without the need for the intervention of a guardian. This goes into the aspect (Hifz nafs). In Bayani's epistemological perspective, the results show that the two figures have different perspectives regarding the texts of the Qur'an and Hadith

What does it mean by ASEAN competitiveness? And, is Indonesia ready for it? These are the questions that have become the main issues to be discussed in this article. Therefore, it is important to note some main key messages introduced by ACI in relation to ASEAN position within its competitiveness and its future prospect, and the dynamic of world economic, such as; ASEAN is facing profound changes in the global economic climate with the rise of China and India and weakened economic prospects in major advanced countries. Evaluation of Indonesian foreign policy leads us to assess the following: Firstly, since the Soeharto era we have had close relations with the Western countries, we have enjoyed billions of US dollars of loans, held technical co-operations in various aspects, we have oil reserves, LNG and other potential natural sources; but as a result of the multidimensional crises in 1997-1999, our economic and business activities, as well as financial and banking systems, have been ruined. Secondly, the three following administrations (B.J. Habibie, Abdurrahman Wahid and Megawati Soekarnoputri, 1998-2004) were not able to do much, let alone restore Indonesia to its former position as a respected country among ASEAN community. Thus, Indonesia has continued to deal mainly with its problems of internal crises and undeniably, has become increasingly dependent of the mercy of Western countries (including the donor agencies and international financial institutions) regarding financial loans and other economic aids. This article is aimed to explain: (a) the meaning of the term “weak state” (b) what can Indonesia do with its foreign policy, which inevitably has to compromise with the “Weak State” condition? (c) what are the policies that should be implemented so that we can come out of the delicate situation

Youth is an important element in society. Youth as the next generation must get serious attention from all circles to make it a superior generation. The reality of Indonesian youth, especially the Sasak, is experiencing many problems. Problems such as unity, fear of dreaming, not being tough, lack of education and knowledge of the current situation are serious problems among youth. Departing from this problem, T.G.K.H. Muhammad Zainuddin Abdul Madjid composed his poems related to youth. The poem explains how a person should act and behave. Therefore, it is important to study and research Maulid al-Barzanjī wa al-Anāsyīd al-Nahḍiyyah by T.G.K.H. Muhammad Zainuddin Abdul Madjid using Lucien Goldmann's genetic structuralism. This study uses Goldmann's dialectical method through the concept of understanding-explanation that connects the structure of literary works, social conditions, perspectives of the author and the author who gave birth to a literary work. This analysis is based on Lucien Goldmann's theory of genetic structuralism. The theory is a set of theories about human facts, collective subjects, structuration, author's worldview, and explanations. The data are in the form of words, phrases and sentences arranged in the form of stanzas. It aims to determine the structure of the literary work, the social conditions of the background and the author's perspective, and the relationship between the literary work and the author's world view. Based on the analysis, it was found that the thoughts of T.G.K.H. Muhammad Zainuddin Abdul Madjid about Youth to unite, dare to dream, have resilience, dare to assert their identity, learn science and understand the times they live. Youth are students of knowledge, fighters for religion and the state as well as candidates for scholars and leaders.
